When we hang up it's almost like I'm losing you again.

Can't you see? So what do you want, what do you want from me?

Kurt Hummel had two choices: Be strong or Be weak. As he looked at the caller ID lighting up with Blaine Anderson's name he knew he'd have to make a decision, and fast. He could be strong, ignore it, and just go on with his life. Or he could be weak, answer it, and have Blaine turn his world upside down, yet again.

Blaine left me. That was the only thought that was going through Kurt's head as he was debating on answering. And it was true, Blaine had left him, but he had a really bad habit of calling Kurt whenever he was lonely, knowing he could get whatever he wanted out of his ex.

Kurt himself knew what would happen if he were to answer the phone, he'd be left heartbroken all over again. He knew he needed to be strong.

But Kurt was weak.

"Hello?"

"Kurt?" Blaine sounded awful. "Hey."

"Two months of silence, and you called to say hello?"

"No, I'm lonely" Blaine sounded so helpless

"You left me Blaine, not the other way around." Kurt didn't believe Blaine had to right to be lonely.

"I know." Was all Blaine could manage to say.

"What do you want from me?"

"I need you, I want to talk to you."

"You say that every time Blaine, and every time you end up leaving, I can't go through that again." Why did Blaine always have to call when Kurt was just starting to get over the last time?

"I know, but I mean it now. Please believe me." Blaine knew everything right to say to get what he wanted out of Kurt, five years together can do that to you. "I'm downstairs, can you please buzz me in?"

"Blaine..."

"Please Kurt..." That was all Kurt heard before the call ended.

Kurt had two choices: be strong or be weak. As he looked at his phone, still showing the call ended message, in his hand he knew he had to make a decision, and fast. He could be strong and leave Blaine standing alone outside, hopefully he'd take the hint and leave. Or he could be weak, let Blaine into his apartment, most likely make love under the false promises of a new life that they would make work together. But in the morning Blaine would leave without as much as a note goodbye. Kurt knew this because it had happened over, and over again since Blaine left him. Yes, Kurt knew he needed to be strong.

But Kurt was weak.
