Kurt didn't make many friends. The other boys thought he was girly and the girls thought he had cooties. His only friends, Mercedes and Tina, were in the classroom across the hall with Miss Emily and the pretty boy. Kurt didn't know the pretty boy's name, but he always saw him playing with the tan boy with squinty eyes, who Tina had a crush on. 

  Today was a special day. Today was park day. Every month the class who collected the most canned food for the homeless shelter got to walk to the park down the street. Miss Angie, Kurt's teacher, had told their class that they and Miss Emily's class had both collected 57 cans and were both going to the park together. Kurt was so excited to get to spend time with Mercedes and Tina!Dave, Finn, Noah, and Azimio started talking about how they were going to play football. Quinn and Santana made plans to make a dance with Brittany when they all met up. The other students talked about their plans when Miss Angie sat down in the seat next to Kurt and asked him about his plans.

  Kurt told Miss Angie all about how he was going to get Tina to bring her dolls, Mercedes to bring her portable tape play, and he was going to bring a teaset for their tea party. She then asked him about how he was getting along with the other guys, and he lied and told her great. Kurt's dad had asked him about it too the other night, he said he was worried that Kurt didn't have any guy friends, and then told him that if they teased him to tell a teacher.

  The next day Miss Angie had the students get in line and put their lunches and toys in the wagon she was taking. They walked down the street to the park. Once they got there the rules were announced. Like at school there was no pushing or saying mean things, the couldn't go past the playground, and lunch was at 11:30.  

After the teachers got done handing out the footballs and Frisbee's Kurt ran towards Mercedes and Tina. "Hi Kurt!" Mercedes said hugging him. Tina was holding hands with the tan boy and the pretty boy was standing next to him. Kurt blushed immediately when he saw him.

"Kurt!" Tina waved him over then let go of the boys hand to hug him." I wish we still had class together like last year. I miss our tea parties!"

 "I do too! Maybe you and Mercedes can come over sometime and we can have one!"

"I hope so! Kurt, this is Mike, and that's Blaine" She said pointing to the pretty boy. Blaine. Hmmm. That sounded really pretty, it fit him. 

"Hi Kurt!" Mike said, giving him a high five.

"Hi!" Kurt said returning it.

"Hi Kurt, I'm Blaine. I like your bow tie. I wish my mom would let me wear mine to the park. She says their only for special things" Blaine said, Kurt couldn't help but notice how pretty his curly hair was, and how much he reminded him of his favorite prince, Prince Eric.

"That's silly! Bow ties should be worn all the time!"

"I know! You should tell my mom that." He said. 

"Mike, Blaine! Get over here we're gonna play football!" Finn yelled from his group of friends.

"I don't want to play." Blaine sighed.

"You can stay with us!" Tina suggested.

"Okay!" Blaine accepted, smiling a little.

"I'll be back in little while." Mike said, letting go of Tina's hand.

"Blaine, are you sure you want to play with us? We're having a tea party." Mercedes asked.

"Yeah! That sounds really cool. My dad won't let me have tea parties though, he said they're for girls, but they look really fun!"

"They are!" Tina told him.

  The four of them had pulled out their things and settled below tree and started having their tea party.Kurt was sitting next to Mercedes and Blaine, while Tina was opposite to him. They hod only been playing for a few minuets before Dave, Puck and some of the other boys walked up to them. "Blaine, what're you doing playing with girls?" Dave spat at him.

"We're having fun! Besides Kurt's a boy!" Blaine pointed out.

"Barely." Puck said and the rest of the boys laughed. Kurt looked down and felt tears forming in his eyes. He knew his dad told him to go tell a teacher, but last time he did it got worse.

"Quit being a meanie Puck!" Mercedes said grabbing Kurt's right hand.

"Yeah, go away!" Tina agreed.

"Whatever ladies!"Dave said before the group walked away. Kurt felt like going home and snuggling with his mom while they watched his favorite movie, The little mermaid.

"Hey, don't listen to them Kurt! You're the coolest, prettiest, sweetest, funnest guy I know!" Blaine said before leaning over and kissing Kurt on the cheek. Kurt felt like his cheeks were on fire. He smiled and looked down.

  The four children continued to play until it was time for lunch. When Miss Angie and Miss Emily called them over Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and helped him up, like he had scene all the Princes in the movies do. He realized then that that's what he wanted to be, Kurt's prince. "Hey Kurt, do you wanna have half my cookie?" He offered.

"Yeah, but it's only fair you take half of my fruit roll up!" He said blushing.

  The rest of the day was spent like that. They four kids continued they're tea party and sang along to Mercedes tapes until it was time to head back to school. On the walk back Blaine held Kurt's hand and tried to avoid the glares the other boys were giving him. By the time they got back it was time to get their things and wait to get picked up. 

  Kurt's dad picked him up like usual. Now that his mom was sick his dad had to pick him up, take him home, then go back to work. "Hey Kiddo! How was your day at the park?"

"It was really fun! Me and Mercedes and Tina and Blaine had a tea party!" He said excitedly.

"Who's Blaine? A new friend?" 

"Yeah! He's really nice and pretty. Some of the other boys were being kinda mean and he told them to go away, and then he told me i was the nicest, prettiest, funnest guy he'd ever met and kissed me on the cheek!" Kurt said grinning from ear to ear.

Burt took a moment, then ruffled his sons hair."He seems really nice, you'll have to invite him over sometime."

"Okay!" Kurt said, he couldn't wait til Blaine could come over!

    Blaine waited on his dad to pick him up. His dad arrived late. He was always late. It was usually only him and Miss Emily left by the time he'd get there. When he got in the car his dad was arguing on his cell phone but quickly hung up.

"Hi Blaine, how was your day?" He asked sighing.

"It was really good! I made a new friend today!"

"Oh. That's nice." He nodded.

"Yeah, his names Kurt and he's totally awesome and nice and funny and pretty and smart!" He said,blushing thinking about Kurt. He chose to ignore odd look his dad gave him when he said pretty.

"Pretty,huh?" Mr. Anderson asked.

"Yeah! He let me kiss him on the cheek!" Mr.Anderson coughed and turned red. "Are you okay daddy?" Blaine asked sweetly.

"No." His dad said trying to calm himself." Tomorrow we'll be taking you to a new school okay?"

"Why? Then i can't see Kurt anymore!" Blaine said about to cry. He heard his dad mumble something under his breath that sounded like 'exactly.'

 When Blaine and Mr.Anderson arrived home Blaine ran past his mothers calls and upstairs to the third door on the right. Coopers room. As soon as he ran in he saw Coop and a girl he didn't recognize sitting on floor with books and papers everywhere. He ran straight to Cooper and climbed into his lap crying. "Whoa buddy, you okay there?" Cooper asked.

"I can tell this is important," The girl said standing up" I'll see you tomorrow cooper!" She finished gathering up her stuff and walked over to Cooper giving him a kiss on the cheek. "You get feeling better cutie." She said to Blaine while ruffling his curly hair then walked out.

"What's up Blaine?"

"Dad's making me move schools!" He said then started sobbing again.

"Why would he do that?" Cooper asked rocking his baby brother in his arms.

"I dunno! He just said so in the car after i told him about my day!"

"Well tell me what you said."

"I told he i had a really good day, then i told him about my new friend Kurt." Blaine said calming down.

"What about Kurt?" Cooper questioned.

"About he's the nicest, prettiest, funnest, most amazing boy ever and he even let me kiss him on the cheek." Blaine explained.

"Oh..." Cooper knew. Cooper had known since Blaine was three and had told him he wanted to marry the prince from Cinderella. The only thing Cooper didn't know was why their dad would do something like that. "It'll be okay Blaine.  I can try and talk to dad for you. Just you have to promise me something."

"Anything Coop!"

"Don't tell dad you think a boy is pretty. It's gets him really mad. Just wait for a while and I'll help you explain it to him."

"Explain what?"

"That you're special. It'll make sense when you're older." Cooper said while his brother's eyes started to droop, exhausted from crying.

"If you say so."

    Cooper tried to talk to their dad, but it just made things worse. Instead of Blaine just switching schools, Cooper would also have to move. Mr.Anderson yelled about how he was tired of arguing  with him all the time, and if he was going to stand up for Blaine to leave. It resulted in Cooper being sent away to a boarding school named Dalton, but he promised himself that no matter what he would stand up for Blaine. No matter what.

 Kurt returned to school the next day to be pushed into the dirt during recess for 'taking Blaine.' He looked for Blaine all day but couldn't find him. After school let out he told his dad that Blaine wasn't their, but Burt told him he was probably sick. When Blaine didn't show up the next day or the day after Kurt got worried. He asked Miss Angie where Blaine went. She told him he was going to a new school and wouldn't be coming back. Kurt had lost his first crush, and Blaine had lost his opportunity to be Kurt's prince charming.
