Blaine stared into Kurt's eyes as a whimsical smile played on his lips. Looking into Kurt's eyes was one of Blaine's favorite Kurt related activities ranking almost as high as kissing him. Blaine didn't even care that at the moment Kurt was really staring back. The two of them were lying on the roof outside Blaine's bedroom window. Blaine's parents were out of town and it was a perfect summer night to star at the sky cheesily with your significant other. Blaine knew it was cheesy but things that seemed cheesy before Kurt were not as cheesy anymore now that this beautiful creature was his and only his.
Eventually Kurt's gaze left the night sky and met Blaine's.
"What?" he asked smiling at the adorably dorky grin on Blaine's face. They had been together for a few months and only had known each other a year but Blaine was just as if not more gorgeous to him now his a Dalton Academy Warblers sweatshirt and sweatpants with no shoes or socks and his hair a curly mess as he was the day Kurt met him on the staircase at Dalton.
"Your eyes," was all Blaine said in a dreamy voice.
"What about my eyes, Blaine?" Kurt chuckled.
"Indescribable," he replied still smiling.
"In a good way?"
"In the best way."
Kurt smiled and rolled onto his side to face Blaine and Blaine did the same scooting a little closer. Never in his life did he think that something this beautiful would be his and that he'd be laying on a blanket on the rooftop with him. He reached over and touched his face and Blaine smiled and leaned into the touch.
"Ya know," he said moving his hand to Blaine's curly hair. He never got the chance to run his hands through Blaine's hair thanks to that godforsaken gel of his. "Most boys are constantly staring at their significant others' bodies not their eyes."
Blaine's expression turned from smiling to thoughtful, "Kurt. I think every part of you is gorgeous but you can't really see anything is someone's body. You can tell a lot about someone from their eyes though. Not to mention your eyes are just so...gorgeous. I could stare at them all night."
"And that's exactly what you've been doing," Kurt laughed. Blaine smiled and pulled Kurt closer to him.
"Can't help it," he said curling into Kurt's side, "How'd I get so lucky?"
"I've been asking myself those words for a few months now." Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine's body to keep him warm. He was the one without socks on and even though it was summer the night had grown a little chilly. Blaine moved as close as he could and snuggled into Kurt's chest putting his arms around his waist.
"I love you, Kurt," Blaine said. Kurt's heart flipped just like it did the first time those words spilled from Blaine's mouth the day after he got home from New York City.
"I love you too, Blaine," he said. He smiled when he felt Blaine sigh in satisfaction.
"This is phantasmagoria," Blaine said in a dreamy voice.
"Phan-tas-muh-whu?" Kurt asked pulling back to look Blaine in the eyes.
"Phantasmagoria," Blaine said in a done that said duh. "It means dreamlike and all that. Kurt, I never thought I would find something this perfect in million years. You get me like no one else does and you're exactly the type of person I can see myself with in the future. I wish I would have seen it sooner because I can love you like I've always wanted to love someone."
Kurt blushed as Blaine talked, "Hmm sounds like the perfect adjective." Kurt shivered and checked the time on his phone. It was nearing two in the morning. "My dad's going to kill me," he groaned.
"Stay the night?" Blaine asked cupping Kurt's face and running his thumb along his cheekbone, "My parents are out of town and I already texted your dad and asked if it was okay sometime around midnight."
"You're promt. I like that," Kurt said, "Alright. I think I can stand sleeping next to the loveliest boy in Ohio."
Blaine smiled and said, "Good. I don't want you driving all the way to Lima at this time a night."
"Oh my god, Blaine. I wouldn't fall asleep at the wheel."
"Better safe than sorry. Plus I'd like to keep you around. I kinda like you," he winked and helped Kurt up and back into his bedroom window. He let Kurt borrow a pair of sweatpants and a tshirt. He flopped onto his bed and held his arms out to Kurt who crawled Under the covers and into Blaine's arms. Kurt leaned up placed a chaste kiss on Blaine's lips.
"So future, huh?" he mumbled against Blaine's lips.
It was Blaine's turn to blush and smile sheepishly, "Yeah… I know it sounds stupid and teenage girl-ish…but I want us to be together forever…"
Kurt smiled at Blaine's confession and kissed him again, "Sounds good to me."
"I love you, Kurt," Blaine said when Kurt pulled away.
"I love you too," Kurt said before closing his eyes and drifting to sleep in Blaine's arms.
