Characters: Blaine Anderson, Kurt Hummel,

It’s a miracle that Blaine didn’t grow up spoilt. His family were well off, but his parents made sure that he didn’t just have everything handed to him. From an early age, he had to do chores in return for his allowance. His grades had to stay high if he wanted to be kept in video games and pop tarts, and the neatness of his room was directly proportional to how much television he was allowed to watch

So, Blaine learnt from a young age that the best things in life were earned through hard work. He spent hours in front of the mirror at home practicing solos before he was allowed to front for the Warblers When it came time for his college applications, he knew that his parent’s money and prestige would only get him so far, so he buckled down, shored up his GPA and spent hours crafting the perfect college essay.

When he told his parents he was accepted to – and planning to attend - UCLA for college, he took great care to explain all the perfectly valid reasons for his decision.

At UCLA, Blaine continued to work hard. He spent hours poring over books, but just as many cultivating a social life. He made sure to keep a wide group of acquaintances from all walks of life, as he knew that college was all about new experiences and taking opportunities you’d only have once. He dated occasionally, and was propositioned far more often than that, but none of it really went anywhere. Perhaps it was the fact that he had to put in very little effort, but he seemed to lose interest quickly. He felt like never had to work to earn their affections, and really, where was the fun or challenge in that?

It didn’t stop him from noticing boys, of course. Half the fun of hanging around on campus was checking out other students from afar with his friends, sitting in coffee shops or out on the lawns. But he never really thought seriously about pursuing any of the boys he saw.

Until.

Blaine was taking a course in playwriting, mostly as a fun aside to his more serious subjects, but also because writing had always been something he’d had an interest in. On the first day of class, however, he found something else that captured his interest.

A tall, slender man was sitting towards the back of the classroom, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, tight jeans, and a hat. Something the way his sat, with his jaw jutted out, a look of airy self-confidence about him, immediately drew Blaine to him. As he continued to look, he noticed the boy’s long eyelashes, sharp cheekbones and elegant neck. He was certainly not like anyone else Blaine had seen since he’d arrived at UCLA two years before – not just because of the way he looked, but something else as well. Something about the way he carried himself made Blaine think, I have to get to know this boy.

As if on cue, the boy looked up, right at Blaine. He took a moment, looking Blaine over, from his hair, to his arms, to his outfit. Then, with no reaction whatsoever, his eye returned to the front of the room, evidently not impressed in the slightest by what he’d seen.

A challenge, then. Blaine liked challenges.

Game on.

Game.

On.

**

Blaine found out Kurt’s name that first day in class. It wasn’t hard, really. Mostly because Kurt said it himself. Half way through the discussion part of the class, he raised his hand, introduced himself as Kurt Hummel, and proceeded to articulate pretty much every thought that Blaine had about the class so far. So, Blaine thought. Smart, as well as pretty, and ideologically and creatively compatible. He’d better be gay.

So Blaine found himself in front his computer, guiltily typing Kurt’s name into Facebook, assuring himself that the website was made for this exact situation, and he wasn’t being creepy at all. Except for perhaps the fact that he couldn’t stop thinking about licking the object of his search, but – whatever. That was beside the point.

Success! Kurt Hummel was apparently not a common name, and Blaine found him immediately. They were in the same network, UCLA, so he had access to the entirety of Kurt’s profile. He skimmed Kurt’s wall for a second, before his eyes flickered to the left of the screen. No relationship listed there, that was a good sign. Eagerly, he clicked on “info”. He scrolled down and down, wondering why on earth Facebook thought that a person’s favourite TV shows were more important than their relationship status and orientation.

And there it was.

Relationship Status: Single

Interested In: Men

Blaine smiled. Although a challenge, it was now officially an achievable challenge, and he liked to be realistic. Now, to
continue his research... he moved his attention up to the top right part of the page, where it said, “You and Kurt”. Underneath were 5 people, acquaintances of Blaine’s. It made sense they’d know a few of the same people, both being gay and in the same year. Blaine looked through the names, and sees that Wes listed. Well, that made sense, Wes was a Drama major, and apparently Kurt was majoring in Musical Theatre.

Blaine quickly pulled out his phone and texted Wes, suggesting a meeting for coffee the next day, before going back to his – research. Not stalking, research. He clicked back to Kurt’s wall, and looked through the posts. It was mostly friends writing on his page – an inordinate amount of boys, actually. Most of them looked like frat boys, not the type of person he’d expect Kurt to hang around. Odd. He continued down, before noticing that Kurt had posted a video. It was titled, “Single Ladies – Autumn 2012”. Eagerly, Blaine opened it, and wasn’t quite prepared for what he saw: Kurt, in a leotard, and tight jeans, dancing to Single Ladies, with a few girls as back up dancers.

Blaine wanted to shut the window after the first thirty seconds, because the way that Kurt’s hips were moving made him feel like he was watching pornography. But his eyes were glued to the screen, and no matter how flushed his cheeks were getting , or how tight his pants became, he couldn’t bring himself to stop.

The video ended, and that was the moment that Blaine swore to himself that he would get Kurt to notice him
To start with.

**

When Blaine met up for coffee with Wes the next day, and casually mentioned Kurt’s name, Wes threw back his headand laughed, in a distinctly non-Wes manner.

“What?” Blaine said, confused at his response.

“Oh, Blaine. Kurt’s pretty and all, but don’t bother. You’d be wasting your time.” Wes smiled sympathetically.

“What? No, he’s gay. I checked,” Blaine said, hoping his words didn’t come across as innuendo-laden or creepy as they sounded.

“Gay, yes,” Wes said. “But you would be wasting your time. Kurt only goes for straight guys. It’s his thing. He’s a bit like you, actually. Only likes a challenge. Although I’d say he’s far better at it than you. But unless you suddenly convert to heterosexuality, that boy isn’t going to give you a second glance. Give up now.”

Wes’s words were meant to discourage him, but if anything, they had the exact opposite effect. Kurt only liked straight boys, did he? Well, he obviously just hadn’t met the right gay boy yet. And that boy was Blaine.

**

It was only when Blaine attended the Kappa Tau frat party that weekend, with David and Jeff, that he realised how much of a challenge this might actually be. He’d spend his Thursday screenwriting class trying (and failing) not to stare at Kurt and plan out all the filthy things he would do him as soon as he came around. But he’d not actually given much thought to how those filthy things would actually come about.

But at the party, he saw Kurt arrive, survey the room, and zero in on a tall, burly and staggeringly straight boy. Over the course of the next hour, Blaine watched surreptitiously from the corner, hoping Kurt wouldn’t notice him. He needn’t have worried, of course, as Kurt’s attentions were fully centred on the frat boy, even when Kurt was playing hard to get. He played a mean game, Blaine noticed appreciatively.

First, he made sure that the frat boy noticed him. Once he was sure he had his attention, he sauntered over, and started a conversation. Blaine watched in awe as Kurt talked to him. The frat boy’s face was originally disinterested and stand-offish, as if annoyed that this boy was talking to him when there were so many girls around. But over the course of half an hour, the boy became less and less interested in his surroundings, and more and more interested in Kurt, until eventually, he looked around, almost guiltily, said something quietly to Kurt, before slipping off. A minute or two later, Kurt headed in the same direction. Blaine was simultaneously floored at Kurt’s skills, and intensely curious as to what kind of conversation could create that fast a turn around.

He lost interest in the party after that, and went home. If someone asked him, he’d say he went straight to bed. But that was a lie. Instead, he opened up Kurt’s Facebook page. The stakes had risen, and he’d have to up his game accordingly. Time for some deep research, he thought, and had to restrain himself from watching the Single Ladies video again. He’d limited himself to five watches a day, and he’d only broken that rule once. Instead, he looked at the “info” page again, hoping to gain a better insight into this incredible, and mysterious, boy.

He scrolled through the page again, more slowly this time. He noticed a link he hadn’t seen before. “My blog”, it said, innocuously. Could be interesting, thought Blaine. He clicked it.

Two hours later, there was no doubt about it. Blaine had it bad for Kurt. Before, it was just a physical thing. But after sitting down reading Kurt’s thoughts and opinions – Blaine realised that Kurt was the sort of person that he really wanted to have a conversation with. He echoed so many of Blaine’s own ideas, but at the same time, gave him a lot more to think about. It was only when Blaine noticed it was suddenly 1 am, and that he was exhausted, that he found the will to shut down his computer and crawl into bed, images of Kurt rolling through his mind as he drifted off to sleep.

**

Blaine spent his Monday evening picking out his outfit for the next day. Tomorrow, he would have class with Kurt, and he would start phase one of what he had titled, “Operation: Get Kurt Hummel Into Bed”.

He knew that if he wanted Kurt to take notice of him, he’d have to appear straight. So the first thing to do was to dress less ‘gay’. At least, less dapperly. He recruited the help of his roommate, who was fortunately the same height as him, but slightly wider. This meant that Blaine had access to the staple of all straight men’s wardrobes: slightly ill-fitting clothes. Goodbye to tight jeans and well pressed shirts, hello to crumpled striped polo’s and baggy jeans. Blaine even relented on the hair gel, after his roommate insisted that generally, straight boys spent zero to one minutes on their hair in the morning, as opposed to Blaine’s customary thirty.

Blaine arrived at class, feeling slightly smug. He assumed that Kurt would notice the change right away, and be drawn to him, like a moth to a suddenly-straight flame. But no, as usual, Kurt’s eyes skittered over him, barely registering his existence, before turning to stare out the window until the TA arrived.

Apparently, it was going to take more than poor fashion sense to get Kurt’s attention.

**
For the next two weeks, Blaine was stumped. This had never happened to him before – wanting something so badly, and being so so willing to work towards it, but completely clueless how to accomplish it.

Kurt wasn’t making it easy. Not at all. Could anyone really drop their pen five times in one class? Was it really necessary to bend over quite that pornographically to pick it up? And to point his ass so completely in Blaine’s direction?

Who would bring a popsicle to class, anyway? Yes, it was hot outside. Yes, everyone could have done with a cool treat. But what sort of a person brings an incredibly phallic icy pole to class and spends half an hour savouring it, not even sucking, mostly just licking, as it slowly melts, and he has to lick it off his lips, and...

Blaine stayed slightly late after class that day, sitting as his desk, reviewing his ‘notes’, desperately willing his erection to go down.

**

Then, it came to him. Blaine felt completely stupid that it took him this long to figure it out. He’d been trying to act heterosexual to get Kurt’s attention, but somehow failed to consider the most heterosexual thing of all – men and women, together. In a sexy way.

Blaine’s friend Emily was more than happy to help. They’d known each other since they were awkward freshmen together, standing in line to get their ID pictures taken, and had struck up a friendship. So when Blaine asked her to pretend to be his heterosexual girlfriend, she laughed, asked him why, hears the backstory, laughed even harder, and agreed.

The only thing left to figure out was how to casually imply to Kurt that Blaine has a girlfriend. He couldn’t exactly bring Emily to class and spend the entire hour licking her, although that would certainly get his point across. He didn’t know enough about Kurt’s schedule to be able to accurately position himself for prime straight-viewing, either.

So when their Professor announced a casual evening showcase of the student’s work, Blaine realised it was the perfect opportunity to ‘come out’ as a heterosexual. He mentioned it to Emily, who agreed immediately.

It went exactly as planned. Blaine had drawn the line at actually kissing a girl, but he and Emily acted affectionately enough, directly and purposefully, in front of Kurt that he was sure he got his point across.

Blaine could feel Kurt’s eyes burning into him for the rest of the session. Blaine didn’t even listen to what was happening on stage, he just revelled in the fact that, yes, he’d made progress. He tried to sit up straight in his chair, looking as attractive as he could from behind. And then, when he left with Emily, he took care to not even look in Kurt’s direction.

**

Step 1: Lure him out of class.

Blaine figured, at this point, he might have Kurt interested. So he decided to make it easy for Kurt. He arranged a drinking session over Facebook, ensuring it was mentioned several times on his Wall, including the time and location. If he was right about the way Kurt was going to play this, Kurt would probably be checking his Facebook.
Blaine wasn’t wrong.

His friends knew what he was doing, of course. He filled them in. So when Kurt finally walked through the door, one of his friends nudged him lightly, and Blaine casually glanced over, making sure that Kurt wouldn’t see. He waited a few minutes to see if Kurt would come and talk to him, but no, apparently Kurt was still playing hard to get.

Well, not that hard to get, apparently, as it was obvious that Kurt was purposely standing in a way that his shirt rode up and his stomach was visible. Well, Blaine had to reward the guy for trying, and as it was increasingly clear, he’d have to make the first move.He made his way over to Kurt.

“Hi,” Blaine said, signalling the bartender for another drink. In truth, he’d spoken to the bartender earlier, and told him what his drink was, just in case. But Kurt needn’t know that.

“Oh hi. Blaine, right?” Kurt said, obviously affecting a disinterested voice. But the slight flush in his cheeks and smile playing at the corner of his lips confirmed what Blaine had always known – Kurt had planned this whole thing.

“Yes, Kurt, how’s it going?” Blaine responded, trying not to sound too happy at his discovery.

“Oh, no bad, just thought I’d stop by – see if there was anyone else around,” Kurt said, obviously looking around the crowd. Blaine smiled inwardly. Despite being a Musical Theatre major, Kurt obviously hadn’t learnt not to over-act. Then again, maybe this is what straight boys usually went for. “What brings you here?”

“Just catching up with some friends,” Blaine said, sure to point out his friends amongst the crowd, lest Kurt think he routinely hung about a bars for no reason. However, all his friends were looking over in interest, obviously trying to see how Blaine’s plan was going. Silently he willed them to act cool, but to no avail. Oh well – time to lay on some charm and mild, but inoffensive, flirting. “Do you come here often?” Blaine asked, and then pretended to catch himself, as if the flirtatiousness of the words wasn’t exactly what he intended. “I mean, I haven’t seen you here before?” He hoped he came across as a nervous-but-slightly-experimental-heterosexual.

“Maybe you just didn’t notice,” Kurt said indulgently, and Blaine had to admit, as attractive as Kurt was with his fluttering eyelashes and coquettish smile, he was laying it on a bit thick.

“Maybe, but not likely,” Blaine couldn’t help but respond. “Would you like to join us?” He offered. He’s already versed his friends on how to act in front of Kurt, not mentioning Blaine’s penchant for cock, and so forth. “Unless you’ve seen someone else you know?” he added.

“Thanks, but no thanks,” Kurt said, with a toss of his head. “I might just head elsewhere.” Kurt drained his drink. “See you around, then.”

“Tomorrow,” Blaine said, before he could catch himself, and remember to play it cool. “Class – tomorrow.”

“Oh, right,” Kurt said. As if he didn’t know, Blaine thought. “See you tomorrow.” And he left the building with style, his ass sashaying, and Blaine couldn’t help but appreciate it.
Well, this was an interesting development, Blaine thought, as he carried his drink back to his friends. Kurt was certainly interested, but also playing hard to get. In a relatively obvious sort of way. It seemed, at this point, that Blaine could just rest easy, and let Kurt come to him.

And so, he did.

**

Step 2: Wait for him to initiate contact

It didn’t take him long, either. Blaine could see it a mile off. Kurt spent their entire class pretend to look confused, despite the fact that he obviously had a strong handle on the material. Every class before that one, he’d been outspoken and always, always, right. But, as if on cue, Kurt approached Blaine after class. Blaine had to restrain himself from grinning at how easy this was turning out.

Kurt played innocent as he asked Blaine to help him study, despite the fact that both of them probably knew that Kurt knew the material far better than Blaine. Blaine pretended to resist, pointing out that the TA might be a better help, despite knowing full well that the TA was busy before the paper was due. ‘Reluctantly’, Blaine relented, before being unable to resist suggesting the library as a meeting place. He was sure that Kurt wanted to go somewhere more personal, where he could bend over and take the apparently straight Blaine as easily as possible, but Blaine wasn’t going to be that easy. He knew, of course, that the library was full and it was likely that they’d end up in a cafe or – potentially – Kurt’s dorm room. But he liked to tease Kurt, he’d found, and took satisfaction in noting the annoyance crossing Kurt’s face as he agreed to meet in the library.

**

Step 3: Look like you’re not trying hard at all (even though you really, really are)

Blaine purposely dressed down for their study-date. He wore some of his older clothes – although, still ones that he knew accentuated his best features – and left the hair gel out of the equation completely.
He arrived early, to make sure that all the tables were taken. He’d figured that if they weren’t he’d feign lateness, and suggest they meet at a coffee shop instead. But luckily, the library was packed, and he didn’t have to flex his acting muscles.

Kurt suggested right away that they go somewhere else, and Blaine quickly suggested a nearby coffee shop, one that he knew for a fact was quite romantic.

But then, Kurt stepped it up a level and suggested to go back to his dorm room.

Well, then. Blaine wasn’t one to argue, although he also wasn’t easy. He followed Kurt back to his dorm, maintaining silence the whole way. He was still playing the part of heterosexual tutor, after all.

Only a few minutes after they’d entered Kurt’s room, Blaine mentioned his own living situation. Then.

“Do you live with your girlfriend, then?”

Blaine nearly laughed and corrected him about his sexuality, before stopping himself abruptly, realising where he was, and what he was doing. That was close – he’d nearly been caught off his guard. “No, just a few friends,” he said.

The next few hours were an exercise in restraint for Blaine. His suspicions about Kurt knowing everything about their subject and just acting dumb were confirmed in the first few minutes, when Kurt asked several questions about the material that Blaine knew for a fact he knew the answers to. So, this was just a straight seduction.

But that wasn’t what Blaine wanted. He could see it now – he’d give in, kiss Kurt, and they’d have sex. Then what? Blaine would leave, and Kurt would move on to the next guy. But that wasn’t what Blaine wanted, not at all. He wanted to spend time with Kurt, get to know him – not just the guy that he saw in class, but the guy he learnt about when her read Kurt’s blog. When he’d read paragraphs and paragraphs of emotional discourse about gay rights, and the after effects of bullying. When he’d read the light hearted reviews of romantic comedies, equal parts humour and snark. When he’d looked at Kurt when Kurt wasn’t trying, and seen the vulnerable man under the mask of self-confidence.

So when Kurt put on Barry White, he pretended not to notice, and kept explaining the different types of exposition in screen writing, even though both of them knew it back to front.

So when Kurt pushed his thigh up against Blaine’s, he pulled out another text book, and strategically positioned his jumper to make sure that Kurt couldn’t see the affect he was having on Blaine.

So when Kurt leant over and Blaine could smell him, so clean but so Kurt, he restrained himself from leaning over and kissing him, softly at first, then harder. Instead, he talked nonsense about narrative and voice and he knew he was wrong, but Kurt wrote down the right answers anyway. He was definitely trying to play Blaine, then. Little did he know, Blaine was playing him.

Although, the question of who was playing who became slightly foggy as the afternoon progressed and Closer came on and the words “I want to fuck you like a animal” took up residency in Blaine’s head. It played over and over and over again, and then the image of him, and Kurt, and them actually fucking like animals, until he quickly assured Kurt that his work was worthy of an A and exited hurriedly, his backpack held carefully over his crotch.

He’d never walked home so quickly, or so awkwardly. He didn’t even bother greeting his suite mate, before running to the bathroom, turning on the water, stripping off his clothes, and climbing into the shower. Blaine wrapped one hand tightly around his cock and started jerking off desperately, not even bothering to feel ashamed or embarrassed about the fact he was think of Kurt, of Kurt’s neck, his lips, his collar bones. Of Kurt’s chest, his legs, his cock, pounding mercilessly into Blaine.

Blaine came with a grunt, his entire body shuddering. He stood in the shower for a few minutes, letting the warm water wash over him, trying to wash himself clean, and give himself the resolve to follow through with his plan.

Step 4: If necessary, play the long game.

The more time that Blaine spent with Kurt, the more sure he was about one thing. He wanted to be with Kurt, for more than one night. He didn’t want to just have him physically, he wanted to have him emotionally, intellectually. He wanted to have him for good. So he knew that it was going to be more difficult than just giving in and sleeping with Kurt. No matter how hard Kurt was making it. So to speak.

And so, they became friends. Blaine had never quite met someone like Kurt before – so sure of himself, yet so vulnerable at the same time. That vulnerability was something at Kurt kept hidden but, as they got closer, he occasionally let it show. Blaine loved those moments, when it felt the most real.

It was difficult, though. Blaine had to try to pretend that he didn’t know quite as much about Kurt as he did. He tried not to mention anything he’d read on Kurt’s blog, to play it cool, and let things develop organically. But he couldn’t help himself bringing up things he knew they had in common, and enjoy the look on Kurt’s face, as they agreed, vehemently and excitedly, before Kurt remembered himself, and became more reserved, more controlled.

There was nothing that Blaine wanted more than for to Kurt to lose control, to let himself out of his self-assured, but fake persona he’d created for himself.

There were so many times Blaine wanted to share so much with Kurt, but couldn’t. When Kurt finally opened up and told him about how he was bullied at school for being gay, the things he went through – memories, so potent and vivid, came flooding back to Blaine, mirroring Kurt’s – but he couldn’t share, because Kurt didn’t know what he was gay. So he tried as he could to talk about society and people rather than himself.

Blaine kept the first message that Kurt sent him on Facebook. Well, he kept them all, really. But the first: “Coffee? I just watched that movie you told me to and I really think we need to talk about your taste.” That message would always hold a place in his heart.

Then, they exchanged numbers, and Blaine had to stop himself from constantly texting Kurt. Everything he saw reminded him of Kurt, or of something he ought to tell Kurt, or of something that would make Kurt laugh. But he had to show self restraint, to hide his crush, and to retain some illusion of heterosexuality and platonic friendship.

Sometimes, it becomes almost too much. He just wants to tell Kurt, to be honest about his feelings. But he knows Kurt now, and he knows what he’s always suspected. To just dump his feelings on Kurt – that would scare him off. He had to be sure that Kurt felt the same way, first. Or at least, he had to let Kurt make the first move.

Step 5: Let him get you really, really drunk. And possibly ‘take advantage’ of you.

Blaine was very close to deciding to just come clean to Kurt. He wasn’t sure if he could deal with the stress of their sexual tension during finals. And then, the text came. “One last hurrah before studying for the rest of our lives – you, me, tequila?”

Blaine would like to think he was relatively worldly. He was, at least, worldly enough to know one thing – tequila had only two purposes. One, to get over someone. Two, to get under someone. He was relatively sure that it was the latter that Kurt had in mind. So he texted him back - “Count me in. What time do I come over? X”. He lingered a moment before sending. He considered putting XX, or XXX, but perhaps that would be too obvious. He wanted Kurt to still try, even though maybe this time he’d give in. Maybe. He shut his eyes and pressed ‘send’

When it came to that day, he was ready two hours before he actually had to leave. Blaine was always a nervous over-preparer, always so sure to get every detail. And so, he spent two hours sitting on the couch, mindlessly staring at the television, his eyes flickering to the clock every ten seconds, hoping that it was time to leave.

Then, it was.

He arrived at Kurt’s door, nervous as hell, but trying hard to disguise it. Blaine stomach was fluttering, his heart in his throat. He’d never quite felt this nervous before – he knew that he could have exactly what he wanted, but it was the after that made him nervous. Would Kurt still even be interested? Would it end in sex and nothing more? Had he read everything wrong?
Kurt pulled open the door and greeted him, and Blaine stepped past him into the now-familiar dorm room.

“I really need a drink,” he said, before he could stop himself. He stepped into the kitchenette, and looked around. Kurt came up behind him, close, too close, and pulled out the tequila and margarita mix. They made idle banter, flirting gently, but Blaine could barely concentrate, with his nerves. Blaine watched Kurt mix the drinks, before he handed him one. They were strong, but Blaine was glad. He gulped his down eagerly.

And then – “Sometimes, I wonder about you,” Kurt said, in response to an offhanded comment Blaine had made about colourful umbrellas.

“Oh, yeah?” Blaine said, pretending he didn’t know exactly what Kurt had meant, and busied himself with Kurt’s iPod. He scrolled through Kurt’s playlist, noting the huge amount of crossover with his own. He couldn’t do conversation right then, he was too nervous, to scared, too delicate, so he picked out songs, and plays them, seeing Kurt’s reaction to each, and feeling fuzzy inside every time it’s the same as his own.

At some point, Blaine finished his drink, and Kurt handed him another, but at that point, it was all getting a little bit fuzzy. He’d watched Kurt mix his first drink, and was well aware of how potent it was. Liquid courage, and all that, he thought to himself.

Then, as Blaine was flicking through the songs, he found that song. The one that he had, at some point, assigned to Kurt and their relationship. The one that he would put on sometimes, and listen to, just lying back and thinking of Kurt and him and all the possibilities for the future.

So who could blame him for putting it on?

And who could blame him for singing the words he didn’t really have the guts to say?

“You think I’m pretty without any make up on,” he started. Well, no, not those words. But still. And, well, the words after, he forgot those. What exactly had Kurt put in his drink?

Then, he found his place again, and proclaimed – “You’ll be my valentine!” Possibly not as subtle as he intended, but the way that Kurt was swaying and nodding his head, he figured that subtlety is a thing of the past. He hoped tongues are a thing of the future. “Let’s go all the way tonight,” Blaine sug, taking a large gulp of his drink. Liquid courage, he thought. “No regrets – just love. We can dance until we die.” He grabbed Kurt, and tried to spin him, but his arm went one way, and Kurt went the other, and Kurt made a face at him, as if to say – really?

“You and I will be young forever,” Blaine continued, grabbing one of Kurt’s hands and pointing at him with the other, hoping that Kurt will get the message that he should join in, otherwise this might get awkward.

“You make me feel like I’m living a teenage dream, the way you turn me on,” Kurt sung, obviously trying to look sexy, but Blaine saw something beneath that. A slight hesitation, a nervousness, that suggested to Blaine that maybe, for Kurt, this might be something new, something real.

“I can’t sleep, let’s run away, and don’t ever look back,” Blaine continued.

“Don’t ever look back,” Kurt said, sounding slightly breathless. Blaine decided to go for another spin, and succeeded this time. He pulled Kurt in towards him at the end of the spin, pressing their bodies together.

“Don’t ever look back,” Blaine continued, half just saying it to Kurt, because it’s everything he wanted to say, but couldn’t. Then, it was like time froze, the whole room froze, and all that existed was Kurt and Blaine, pressed against each other, in this new, yet so inevitable situation. Blaine didn’t want to get any closer, to push anything, because he was still cautious that Kurt should make all the first moves.

“We drove to – “ and Blaine’s self restraint buckled, as he pushed his lips against Kurt’s. So much for that. But he couldn’t even begin to regret it, as he deepened the kiss, pushing his tongue into Kurt’s surprised mouth. There was a second, where Blaine doubted himself, before Kurt kissed back with so much passion, so much force, and Blaine knew – knew – that this was real.

Blaine tried to play it straight – literally – by pretend to not be into it, but the moment that Kurt’s hands came up to grab at the back of his sweater, it was all over. He moved his hands from hovering at Kurt’s sides to sliding down his back to, finally, his ass, squeezing it, trying not to completely molest it, despite the fact it was the object of his obsession for weeks now.

Blaine traced his tongue along Kurt’s lips, desperate to savour every moment as it came, before it became too hot and heavy to properly catalogue everything. And then, Kurt was using his hands to steer Blaine towards his bed. He allowed Kurt to push him down onto the bed, before turning into his side, pulling Kurt into him, so they were lying face to face. He leant back into recapture Kurt’s mouth with his.

He ground against Kurt, so desperate for contact. The way Kurt’s mouth gaped open in surprised, and that small moan he made, just turned Blaine on more. He allowed himself to run his hands up and down Kurt’s back, just feeling the muscles under the shirt, the hardness of his body, the gentle slopes and lines of Kurt’s torso. He wanted to lie like this forever, just kissing and pressing, but something more feral took over, and before he knew it, his hands were working at Kurt’s buttons, trying desperately to undo them before he had to tear them off. A second later, Kurt’s hands came up to pull Blaine’s off, and hey – Blaine wasn’t going to complain.

The warmth of their bodies pressed together felt better than Blaine had expected – more intimate somehow, than things he’d felt before. Perhaps it was more that this time he was taking the time to notice these things.

There was music playing in the background, an especially sexually charged playlist Blaine had created while Kurt was in the bathroom, but he couldn’t even hear the lyrics over the intoxication he felt at being so close to Kurt. He couldn’t bear to be this close to Kurt and not touching him, more, than he was right now.

So Blaine pushed hand down between them, tried to unzip Kurt’s pants, and failed. Instead, he just pushed his hand down under Kurt’s incredibly tight waistband, and grasped him. The feeling of Kurt’s hot, hard cock in his hand severely outweighed the awkwardness of Kurt’s waistband cutting into his wrist. Awkwardly, he stared to move his hand up and down, desperate to feel as much of Kurt as much as possible, to make Kurt feel as good as possible. It’s all he can do to stop himself from muttering dirty nothings into Kurt’s ears as he jerks at him erratically.

Kurt seemed surprised, almost, as he reaches down and unbuttons his own jeans – and in that moment, Blaine remembers that he was pretended to be straight. Well, fuck that, he thought. Pretending to be straight while having gay sex was a challenge even he wasn’t willing to accept.

For one horrible second, Blaine wasn’t touching Kurt, but soon enough, he rectified the situation, and is stroking up and down Kurt again, desperate to make Kurt feel good. Then, Kurt’s hand unbuttoned his own pants and pulls them off easily. They were so close, then, only a few layers of fabric between them, and Blaine was so desperate to get Kurt’s pants off he doesn’t care what kind of noise he made, or how needy he came across as he tried to pull Kurt’s pants off.
Helpfully, Kurt lifted up his hips, allowing Blaine to pull off his pants. Then, Kurt was naked, underneath him – the image he’d been imagining for so long, and yet, his imagination couldn’t even begin to do the real thing justice. He was here, right in front of him, naked, and he could barely restrain himself from just sitting back and looking, memorising every single inch of him.

But he settled for just doing the thing he’d always fantasized about – taking Kurt into his mouth, showing him exactly how attractive Blaine found him with his tongue. At first, he just licked at Kurt, desperate just to taste him, but before long he was taking Kurt into his mouth, sucking him down deep. It was just as he’s always imagined, those nights alone in his bedroom. He reached up one had to cup Kurt’s balls as he worked his mouth up and down Kurt’s shaft. He was pleased when he heard Kurt moan above him, “oh, yes, Blaine, please.”

As much as this was what he fantasized about, it wasn’t really even close. Every time he pictured this scene in his own mind, Blaine imagined it ended by Kurt fucking him. The very thought of it that this point went straight to his cock. Desperate for something, anything, to be inside him, Blaine reached his fingers up next to Kurt’s cock, and took care to lubricate them. It wasn’t enough, not nearly, but he was beyond caring at this point.

Blaine reached back and pushed two fingers into himself, desperate to feel something, anything, inside him. He couldn’t restrain himself as he let out a moan around Kurt’s cock. He roughly fingered himself before he knew, knew, that this wasn’t enough, that he had to have Kurt, inside him, as soon as possible.

He, regrettably, pulled his mouth off Kurt’s cock, and moved up the bed. “Lube?” he said, trying to hide the desperation in his voice. A look of confusion flittered across Kurt’s face, before he reached across and handed Blaine a bottle.Relieved, Blaine squirted some onto his fingers, not even bothering to warm them up before dropping the bottle and pushing his fingers back into his own ass. Two wasn't enough, not then, not with the promise of Kurt inside him soon, so he slipped another into himself, and groaned loudly at the feeling of three fingers. He could barely think straight – the only thought in his head at that point was please, please, I need Kurt inside me as soon as possible. So he grabbed at Kurt’s cock, and swung his legs over Kurt, before remembering his manners.

“I... will you fuck me?” he asked, although he knew if the answer is no, he might just die a little bit. Fortunately Kurt answered in the affirmative, looking a little bit desperate himself. Blaine’s hands were shaking as he positioned himself over Kurt, relishing the moments before, because he had everything to look forward to. Kurt, wordlessly and tactlessly, grabbed his shoulders and pushed Blaine down onto him, effectively impaling Blaine on him.

Blaine felt so full, so suddenly, that it knocked the wind out of him. He took a moment – he had to take a moment – before allowing himself to move, up and down, on Kurt’s cock.

“God, fuck, Kurt,” Blaine said, forgetting himself. Ten seconds in, and this was already the best sex he’d ever had. He wanted it to last forever, and yet, he wanted to come as soon as possible, because he’d been dying for this forever.
Blaine pushed his hands down on Kurt’s shoulders, hoping that if he couldn’t control his emotions during this, at least he’d be able to control the physical aspects. He moved his body up and down, slowly at first, just staring down at Kurt’s face, watching for his reaction to every move. He wanted to learn every single thing that Kurt liked, whether he wanted to slow, or hard, or rough.

But soon enough his own instincts took over, and he couldn’t help but just thrust against Kurt, rutting up and down. Judging from Kurt’s reaction, this was just fine by him, so Blaine didn’t stop. He didn’t go as hard or as fast as he wanted, for fear of scaring Kurt off. But it was incredible, all the same, and as he could feel himself getting closer, he knew he needed more, more, so he took his hand off Kurt’s shoulder, and reached down and grasped himself. From the look on Kurt’s face, he was close too, so Blaine had no shame in just jerking himself off as he rode Kurt. Kurt’s hands came up to clutch at his hips, and that was all he needed to be pushed over the edge, coming all over Kurt’s chest. Simultaneously, he felt Kurt pulse inside him, filling him with hot wetness.

Blaine took a moment or two to compose himself after one of the best orgasms he’d ever had. Certainly in the top five, and most of those involved imaginary-Kurt anyway. Then, reluctantly, he pulled himself off Kurt, and lay down next to him.

“Kurt – that was, that was amazing,” he said, momentarily forgetting that he’d been playing straight weeks now, and should probably mention his love for vagina if he wanted to keep up the charade. Although, it was a bit late now, he supposed.

“Thanks,” Kurt said, obviously out of breath and wrecked from the whole thing.

“I really want pizza,” was all Blaine could come up with.

Kurt looked at him with disbelief, argued for a few minutes, before climbing out of bed to go and order some.

Then – the awkward conversation.

Yes, Blaine was gay. Yes, he’d been playing Kurt.

And then, yes, Kurt agreed, he’d date Blaine.

Well, that was relatively easy, Blaine thought, as Kurt hopped back into the bed next to him. He stilled wanted pizza, of course, but not as much as he wanted round two.

**

After that, they were together.

Although, Kurt still liked to pick up straight boys .

It just happened that all the straight boys he picked up were about 5’8”, with curly hair, answered to the name Blaine, and were excellent at roleplaying.

It just happened that all the straight boys he picked up were about 5'8", with curly hair, answered to the name Blaine, and were excellent at roleplaying. That is amazing. hahaha. I love reading Blaine's POV. A lovely companion piece :)

Hot, well written, amazing - just as "Denial". Instant favorite :)

OMFG holy crapper! This was so amazing! I read the first fic and read this asap afterwards and then I was like, holy crap Klaine is just ugh! I love it lol

ooh la la ;)

Oh. my. goodness. Blaine is one wonderful actor. That's all I'm saying. -xoxo PS Okay, not really. That was still so incredibly HOT. God *-* PPS Also, I hope you consider continuing this verse. It would be interesting to see how their relationship play out, since I don't think Kurt would be into being tied down :3

Companion pieces are always tricky to pull off, but you did a great job! One point of criticism - you tend to be inconsistent with the verbal tenses sometimes, which can be confusing. Apart from that, I really enjoyed this idea and the way you worked it out!

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Even without the surprise factor at the end, I loved this just as much as the first. Although the ending to this one was perfect too. :)

This was amazing, and SO funny as a companion piece to the other fic! Blaine is a good actor :D Love it!

I just love you. Every single day.

I love you for writing Blaine's POV :)
