Blaine is back from a family vacation and couldn't be happier what he considers his welcoming.
Author's Notes: This is just a silly little thing I've had in my head all day since I've been out with the family and listening to
Love On Top by Beyonce almost constantly because it's my guilty pleasure. So yeah nothing special, just your adorable Klaine.
You’re the only one I love, you’re one I neeeeed
are the first words Blaine hears that morning. He cracks his dry and tired eyes open to try and see where that voice is coming from and why it isn’t Kurt’s, seeing as he the only other person in the apartment, he believes. As he blinks rapidly to adjust to the orange glow that has tinted his pinstriped wallpaper and the white sheet that is loosely draped around his hips, just under his navel and allowing his veins and v-lines to peek out. He squints as he turns his head to the window, expecting to see iTunes open the laptop that almost constantly sits on the window seat and the sun slowly rising over New York City. God, he and Kurt scored a good apartment. The orange gradient over the sky and skyscrapers never failed to take their breath away. But instead the laptop’s not there and neither is a radio, a mobile, an iPod station or even an mp3 player with headphones, he realizes as his eyes scan the room fervently. All there is their plasma screen TV which is switched off. It also comes to his realization when he rests his head back down on the ragged pillow and looking to the left that a very important person isn’t there anymore. Instead of whining about missing him, Blaine rolled over into the empty space deeply inhaling the scent of Kurt that enveloped him. He felt it coat heavy in his nose as he wiggled his body deeper into Kurt’s side of the bed and grin largely into the pillow.
Finally, he was back where he was supposed to be, home. The last two weeks had been difficult. There was no doubt that a vacation with his family in the Bahamas was enjoyable. No matter how many times they had been, it was still a beautiful place and he was ever so grateful that his parents bought him a ticket and paid for his accommodation because he really did have a wonderful time, just sucked to not have Kurt there with him. He knew there was no way to work around Kurt’s deadlines because at the end of the day he was working for a very big company and didn’t want to risk losing his place for anything.
Blaine’s parents were devastated that the trip was set in the two weeks that Kurt just coincidently had to hand in those designs in person. The industry was strict and Kurt was devoted so unfortunately he had to turn down the offer and heavily plead the Andersons to not change the date because of all the money it would cost them. After a lot of make-up-dinners they were convinced nothing could be done and that Kurt was fine with not joining them which really he was. Sure he’d love to go the Bahamas with the Andersons, see the beautiful sights, drink delicious cocktails and see Blaine come out of the sea dripping wet but he had deadlines and he just couldn’t miss them.
It didn’t matter anymore though because Blaine was back. It didn’t matter that Kurt didn’t tag along and that they were both alone, without each other for two weeks because they were now back together and everything was normal. The minute Blaine walked through that door and set down his suitcase, Kurt popped his head round the doorway of their room with a very large smile. He clearly dropped whatever he’d been holding as he heard a ‘clunk’ before Kurt ran out of the room in only his boxer-briefs. Blaine dropped the back that was hanging off his shoulder before catching Kurt in his strong arms. Kurt’s legs linked around his lower back as they kissed passionately. God had Blaine missed his lips that he now sucked into his mouth and the curve of his hips that he traced lightly with his worn hands. Kurt’s hands tugged through his hair as Blaine walked them back into the room and proceeded to have the most mind blowing sex they can muster to date.
As Blaine remembered all this, he played with the label of the sheet that was popping out from under the sheet that now rested just below his lower back. The label of the sheet should usually be at the further end but things got particularly messy last night he thought, still sporting a cheeky grin. As he zoned out of his bliss, the sound of who he now realized was Beyonce’s voice filled the room again. He craned his neck to the slightly ajar door and then flopped his head back down to the pillow and sighed before heaving himself out of bed. He stood up and stretched, allowing the orange blanket of New York’s rising sun cover him. With a slight squeal he was stretched out and ready to put on some underwear. He then turned to pull the sheets over the slightly stained under-sheets, smirking to himself as he tucked them under the pillows neatly so Kurt couldn’t complain. He really didn’t realize until last night how much he missed having sex with Kurt unless he didn’t get it every night.
Blaine quietly pulled the door open, the music getting louder which was now accompanied with some footsteps and Kurt’s croaky, tired yet still absolutely stunning singing voice. He mimicked what Kurt did last night and whipped his head round the door way to now see Kurt only in his charcoal grey boxer-briefs that he was wearing last night before Blaine quickly ripped them off, hanging low on his perfectly shaped hips.
So there was his really hot boyfriend, barely even half-dressed, wearing really crazy bed head, dancing to Beyonce as he watched the bagels toast beside the what looked to be, just done pancakes. Everything about the scene unfolding in front of him was perfect. Kurt’s absolutely delicious pancakes, toasted to perfection bagels and what looked like coffee brewing and not excluding Kurt now rolling his hips in circles as his voice got slightly louder and he began to tap his foot.
Blaine could watch his hips move all day but right now he just wanted to walk over there and still them by pinning them against the counter and kissing Kurt senseless. As he takes a breath before walking over to Kurt, he suddenly turns around cocking his hip and then stumbling back slightly, holding on the counter for support.
Blaine smirked at him as Kurt continued to stare back at him; a blush now crept up his striking cheek bones. Blaine loved that he could still make Kurt do that. Kurt had really grown into himself these past 5 years. His face is more defined, making his blue eyes shine out to the world more than ever and his body is more muscular apart from those curves that Blaine just adores. God does he want to grab them right now. So he slowly walked over to Kurt who sported a shy smile and watched his feet shuffle. He had no reason to be embarrassed, Blaine thought but what he didn’t know was Kurt was just as giddy as he was 5 years ago when Blaine looked at him like that through his long dark lashes coating those currently smouldering eyes. He looked up right at Blaine as he arrived at Kurt’s feet. Blaine wrapped his arms around his lower back, pulling their hips flush together and leaving a little space between their chests.
“Is the dancing finished? Because I really hoped it would continue” Blaine teased lightly, raising an eyebrow.
“Well I was planning on stopping unless you have something to offer that might change my mind?” Kurt teased back. The right corner of his mouth tugged up suggestively, slightly pouting.
Blaine watched his eyes as they raked down his chest and back up to his full lips. He got the hint and with that leaned forward and pressed his lips hard against Kurt’s. Kurt hummed warmly and wrapped his arms around Blaine’s shoulders pulling them now completely up against each other as Blaine slipped his tongue over Kurt’s lower lip, desperately wanting permission to slide it against his.
“Hm” Kurt hummed, teasing Blaine and continuing to just mesh only their lips together until Blaine unexpectedly pulled his lower lip into his own mouth, causing a growl to rise from his throat before opening his mouth and letting Blaine’s tongue slide over his own. He will never get tired of simply kissing his boyfriend.
They continued to make out and just as Kurt thought Blaine was going to pull away, he surprised him by grabbing his hips forcefully and moving them against his own to the music. It was awkward and they were fumbling but it was somehow adorable that Blaine even attempted. He laughed into Blaine’s mouth before separating their lips and throwing his head back in laughter.
Baby it's you. You're the one I love. You're the one I need
Blaine lip-synced ridiculously at Kurt, waiting for him to sing back like they do in the shower but Kurt continued to giggle.
Blaine ducked his head and stilled them for a second until Kurt looked straight at him with wide eyes and raised his eyebrows to encourage him to continue their fumbling dance. Blaine chuckled at the amusement in Kurt’s light eyes that were sparking because of the sun, now higher than before.
“You’re absolutely ridiculous” Kurt said in between laughs still going along with Blaine’s hips.
“Hey don’t say that, I might leave for two weeks again” Blaine joked. Kurt slapped his arm and then dropped his head on his warm shoulder and dropping a kiss to his collarbone. He slumped against his boyfriend’s toned torso and now slowed his hips down to just swaying. They stood there swaying for a while, taking in the sun from outside and roaming their hands over each other’s skin, taking in what they missed.
Blaine missed Kurt’s porcelain skin, how smooth and hairless it was and how easy it was to run his hands down. Kurt missed Blaine’s tanned skin, how slick and slightly hairy it was and how enjoyable it was to run his fingers down his more defined pecks, like stairs. Most of all they missed being around each other. They missed breakfast together whether it’s rushed and barely being able to say a word to each other or slow where they even have time to discuss the news like adults and fit in some time for some fooling around.
To anybody, two weeks might be nothing but to these two, it’s too much. They want and need to be around the reason they’re smiling from ear to ear. Sure this isn’t perfect. Blaine is probably late for work and Kurt should be catching up on his sketches but for now its absolute bliss and Blaine would choose it over a vacation in the Bahamas any day.
