He Loves Me, He Loves You Not.
Kurt and Blaine decide to make another trip to Scandals. Of course they run into Sebastian, but maybe Dave can get a little more redemption

Kurt rolled his eyes and looked over to Blaine, who was focused on the road in front of them. He hoped that his boyfriend could feel the bitch glare he was getting right now. “I know that Blaine. I want to do this. I think now that it will be just the two of us it will be fun. As long as you don’t drink as much as last time. I didn’t suggest this trip to prove anything, I suggested it because I want to have fun with my boyfriend on a Saturday night. Is that so wrong?”
“No, it’s not wrong. I promise I won’t drink. It will be me, you, and the dance floor. Oooh, is that cheesy?” Blaine glanced over at Kurt with a smile.
Kurt laughed and reached over to hold Blaine’s hand for the rest of the ride to Scandals. “It is, but it’s also true.
Blaine squeezed Kurt’s hand and sent him another smile before returning his attention to the road. The rest of the drive to the club was spent in a comfortable silence, both boys lost in their own thoughts of how the night may go. Kurt felt a weird buzzing building in his stomach. He couldn’t tell if he was more nervous or excited. He knew he was excited to be able to dance with his boyfriend without anyone casting them dirty looks, but he was also nervous because their first trip here didn’t go so well and he wasn’t sure he was ready for a repeat of that. Sure, this time there would be no annoying Sebastian here to ruin the night.
Ugh, Sebastian. Just the thought of his name made Kurt’s blood boil and he had an urge to punch things. He unconsciously gripped Blaine’s hand tighter, earning him a curious glance from his boyfriend. Kurt shook his head a little and smiled over at Blaine. He wasn’t going to think of that arrogant asshole tonight. Tonight was about having fun and letting loose.
Finally, they pulled into the parking lot at Scandals, both noticing how many more cars there are compared to last time. Kurt took a deep breath to calm his nerves, and of course Blaine noticed.
“Hey. Do want to go? We can go to the movies or something instead.”
“Blaine. I want to dance with my boyfriend without getting sneered at. Now let’s go. Unless...unless you don’t want to go, in which case we can go to the movies or do something else.”
Blaine chuckled and gave Kurt that adoring look that still made Kurt blush. “You’re adorable. If you want to do this, then so do I. As long as I get to spend my evening with you, well then it will be the perfect night.” He leaned over and gave Kurt a quick kiss on the lips the pulled back to stroke his cheek. “Do you want to go in?”
Kurt felt his heart skip a beat at the tenderness that was in Blaine’s eyes. “Yes. Let’s go.”
They smiled at each other for a few moments before they finally got out of the car. They joined hands and walked to the entrance of the club. Both were still a little nervous their fake i.d.’s wouldn’t work, but the bouncer look just as uncaring as the last time they were here so they got in without any problem.
The first thing they both noticed was how much more packed it was, and how there were hardly any drag queens in sight. Blaine made sure to keep his grip on Kurt’s hand, not wanting to get separated in the crowd. He led the way up to the bar, in case Kurt wanted anything, then turned to face his boyfriend. He had to shout over the music to be heard, “Do you want anything?”
Kurt shook his head and looked around at all the couples openly making out, and some that were doing a little more. He was amazed that everyone was so uninhibited and weren’t worried about what might happen if someone caught them. Seeing all the other couples made him feel bolder, so he pulled Blaine to his chest and whispered in his ear, “I just want you. Let’s dance.”
Blaine is momentarily shocked by Kurt’s behavior. Usually, the only PDA that’s allowed is hand holding, and that’s only when they think nobody is looking. It’s sad, but they both know they have to be careful, and that once they are in New York it won’t matter anymore. For tonight though, he’s going to take full advantage of being able to touch Kurt as much as he’d like.
Kurt led the way to the middle of the makeshift dance floor, immediately pulling Blaine close again, settling his hands on his hips. Blaine has no other option but to wrap his arms around Kurt’s shoulders as they begin to sway along to the music. All too soon, they both get lost in each other. Neither could tell what was happening around them. It was just them and the music. Nothing else mattered except the feel of their hips slowly grinding together, the way Blaine would sometimes rub his hands down Kurt’s sides or when Kurt would tangle his fingers in Blaine’s hair.
Without any conscious decision made by either of them, they were suddenly kissing. And definitely not the sweet chaste kiss they shared in the car. They were kissing with pure lust and passion, as if they were alone in their bedrooms. Blaine forced himself away when he ran out of air and realized he had a growing problem in his pants. For both of them, it was as if a plug had been pulled and suddenly all the noise and the people came rushing back to their senses. Both boys were smiling and blushing at each other. Blaine ducked his head a little and Kurt thought it was the most adorable thing he’s seen. He pulled Blaine close again to whisper in his ear.
“How about we go get some sodas or something and...cool off.”
Blaine nodded and gave a thumbs up, it was much easier then trying to talk over the noise. He grabbed Kurt’s hand and they made their way back to the bar. Blaine leaned over the bar, earning the bartenders attention, and ordered two Diet Cokes. The bartender gave him a dirty look for not ordering something more expensive and Blaine just shrugged, at least he didn’t order water. After paying and leaving the bartender a tip, he turned to hand Kurt his soda right when a man in a see through shirt stepped right into their personal space. This man gave both Kurt and Blaine a once over and sent a wink in Kurt’s direction. Blaine froze for a moment and pulled Kurt a little closer. “Umm. Can we help you?” Blaine realized too late, that probably wasn’t the best thing to say.
The guy turned and studied Blaine a moment, then a cocky grin spread across his face. “Oh I’m sure you can sugar. You two together?” Both boys nodded slowly, Kurt gripped Blaine’s hand harder. The guy smirked again and leaned right between them and said seductively, “so what do you say to a threesome?”
Kurt spluttered, eyes widening and took an unconscious step away from the stranger. Blaine stood his ground and put on his most charming smile. He did NOT like the way this guy was looking at his Kurt. “Sorry but no. I don’t share. And neither does he.” Kurt looked relieved that Blaine was able to speak, because he sure couldn’t right now.
They guy looks disappointed but shrugged and kept his eyes trained on Kurt. “Pity. You look like you’re a fantastic bottom.”
Anger flared in Blaine and he pulled Kurt behind him a little and glared at this guy. “Well you will NEVER find out. Now leave.”
The guys shrugged again and walked off. Blaine was still feeling the anger coursing through him, but then he heard Kurt laughing behind him. He turned to look at his boyfriend in confusion and Kurt could only choke out, “I can’t believe that just happened!” between his laughter. Blaine couldn’t help but laugh along once he saw that Kurt wasn’t upset.
They were still laughing when Blaine spotted someone at the other end of the bar. He turned to Kurt and raised an eyebrow at him. “Hey, isn’t that the Karofsky guy...over there?”
Kurt followed his gaze, and sure enough, there was Dave. Kurt couldn’t help but smile, Dave looked so relaxed and...happy. “It is! Let’s go say hi!”
Before Blaine could object, he was being dragged towards Kurt’s old tormentor. Dave looked up just as Kurt reached him and smiled. “Kurt! Hi! Didn’t think I’d see you here again. Hello Blaine.”
Blaine just nodded and bit his lip a little, he still didn’t trust the guy after everything he put Kurt through. Kurt smiled even more, this was a whole new Dave. “Yeah, well we decided we would give this place another shot. Do you come here all the time?”
Dave laughed and shook his head a little. “No. No just sometimes. Like I said last time, I just feel welcomed here. It’s nice to come here and escape a little, ya know?”
Kurt nodded, then looked a little concerned. “So have you...you know? Come to terms with everything?”
“Not quite yet, but I’m getting there. Thanks to you mostly. I actually went on a date a few weeks ago.”
“Really? Dave that is so ama-”
Kurt was cut off when a voice came from behind them. Without even having to turn around, Kurt knew who it was and felt his face flush with anger.
“Well well well. What do we have here? Hello Blaine, you’re looking hot tonight.”
Kurt rolled his eyes and turned to face Sebastian, and Blaine reluctantly followed and mumbled a quiet, “hey Sebastian.”
Sebastian’s smirk was just as cocky as ever, and as usual, he ignored Kurt completely. “So Blaine. I think we need to have a talk. You see, I know that you’re gay. The problem is, you brought a girl here tonight and I’m just concerned. If you’re having issues with your sexuality, I’ll be more than happy to help out.”
Kurt was literally seeing red, and the only thing he wanted to do right now was hit Sebastian and hit him hard. The part about Blaine being confused about his sexuality reminded him of their first fight, and he did not like to think about that. He was about to say something when Blaine stepped up. He was sick of Sebastian constantly degrading his relationship with Kurt, but to downright call him a girl...that was crossing so many lines.
“Sebastian, just. Shut. Up. I am not interested in you. I will never be interested in you. I don’t know how many times I have to tell you that I’m in love with Kurt. And he’s more of a man then you’ll ever be. So please, leave us alone.”
Sebastian continued to smirk and crossed his arms over his chest. “I seriously doubt he’s more of a man than me. So, why don’t you get with a real man. Then you can come back to the Warblers and see what it feels like to be on a winning team.”
Kurt was shaking he was so furious right now. “Give it a rest Sebastian. You heard Blaine. He’s not interested. There’s plenty of guys here looking for a little bitch to fuck. Blaine is mine, and nobody else will ever have him. Got it?”
“Cute. It’s like a little kitten with his claws out. I’ve told you before. Blaine is too good for you. He deserves to be with someone with,” he lets his eyes roam over Kurt’s clothes, “class.”
Blaine shook his head and stepped closer to Kurt, putting an arm around his waist. “You’re wrong. Kurt’s too good for me. Now, please leave us alone.”
Kurt is caught up by Blaine’s words and can’t help but look at him lovingly. They could probably argue for hours about who’s too good, but that’s not the point right now. They have to get rid of Sebastian first.
Sebastian is looking at them with disgust and is about to open his mouth when Dave stands up. “Hey. They want to be left alone, so leave them alone. Got it?”
Kurt couldn’t hide his smirk. Even though he loved fighting his own battles, he just didn’t have the same threatening tone that Dave had. He noticed even Sebastian took a step back, but he immediately put that stupid smirk back on and was eyeing Dave. “And, you are?”
“Doesn’t matter who I am. Leave them alone, or I’ll have to introduce you to The Fury.”
“The Fury? Well that sounds super threatening and all, but you might not want to threaten me. See, my dad is kind of a States Attorney, and when I want something done, he makes sure I get it. So threatening me, will only land you in some low security prison, and I bet the guys there would love a big burly guy like you to use as their plaything.”
Kurt rolled his eyes, he hated spoiled brats like Sebastian. “States Attorney huh? So you father fully supports you being underage and going out to gay bars? Not to mention your personality leads me to believe you’re nothing more than a slut. From what I hear, States Attorney’s live for their reputation. So tell me, how would Papa Smythe react to finding out his gay son was out patroling gay bars looking for sex? Save your threats you arrogant asshole, they do no good here.”
Both Blaine and Dave looked at Kurt with pure amusement while Sebastian was looking sour. “You know what Hummel, screw you. Don’t act like you know me or my life. You have no right to judge me.”
“And you have no right to judge me or my boyfriend. You certainly don’t know Blaine like you think you do. He would never be with anyone like you. I don’t see why anyone would ever want to be with you, but I suppose people get desperate enough sometimes. Now walk away before you embarrass yourself even further.” He made a little shooing motion with his hands. Thankfully, Sebastian turned to walk away, looking positively furious, which made Kurt call after him.
“Oh, and Sebastian?” He stepped right up to the taller boy and practically growled in his ear. “If I ever hear you tried talking to Blaine again, things won’t be as pleasant as this was. And you wanna go running to your Daddy? Then bring it on. I’m sure you’re aware that my father is a congressman. But, unlike your father, he actually cares about me. And he loves Blaine just as much as he loves me. The main thing about Burt Hummel is that he would do anything for his family. Anything. Including tearing down some spoiled brat like you. Leave Blaine alone. Now keep walking.” He stepped back and fixed Sebastian with his best bitch glare.
Sebastian rolled his eyes and walked away. Kurt turned back to Blaine and Dave, both were fixing him with confused looks. “What? Just some friendly parting words.”
Blaine laughed and pulled Kurt in for a kiss on the cheek. “You’re amazing, you know that?”
Kurt smiled and leaned in closer. “It doesn’t hurt hearing it.” They shared one of their moments when they just stared into each others eyes and everything around them faded. They would have stayed like that had Dave not cleared his throat loudly, reminding them of his presence. Both boys blushed and broke apart, still keeping their hands clasped.
“Erm. I suppose I’ll let you two...get back to it. It was nice seeing you again.”
Kurt smiled and hesitated for a moment before stepping forward and giving Dave a one armed hug. “Thank you Dave, for standing up for us. It means a lot that you would do that. It was nice seeing you too.”
Dave gave a goofy grin and shrugged a little. “It was nothing. I hate guys like that. If he keeps giving you problems, you let me know and I can scare him straight.”
Kurt laughed and shook his head. “I don’t think that will be necessary, but thank you. See you around!” Blaine mumbled a goodbye as well, and the two boys went off again. Kurt was leading Blaine towards the front door, but Blaine stopped him and spun him around. “Are we leaving?”
Kurt leaned forward and pressed his lips against Blaine’s, then pulled back with a devilish twinkle in his eyes. “Yes. I had a lovely evening, but I want to be alone with you. I don’t like when other guys try to take my man. I need to make sure you’re still mine.”
Blaine stared, wide-eyed and felt his mouth go dry. “I-I’m y-yours. Always yours. Nobody will ever take me from you.”
Kurt kissed Blaine again and whispered. “Good. Let’s go.” Blaine nodded and stumbled his way to the exit, with Kurt laughing and trailing after him. By the time they reached Blaine’s car, Blaine was stumbling so much that Kurt was doubled over laughing. Blaine was so cute when he was excited.
“Blaine! Calm down baby. We have all night. And forever after that.”
Blaine smiled his dopey grin and pulled Kurt in for a sweet kiss. “Forever. I like the sound of that.”

this is such a feel good story! i loved the part when kurt threatened seb with the fact that his dad is a congressman and mr symthe is just a state's attorney. that is such a great idea–they need to use that on the show. (dave) "...If he keeps giving you problems, you let me know and I can scare him straight." " dave, honey, none of the female population wants seb! (i'm making a play on words–i hope you get it). i enjoyed reading this :)
Wow! I loved how you had Kurt and Dave totally own Sebastian. And that is why the Kurtofsky coupling could never work out. Kurt and Blaine are just too perfect together. Great job!
I agree! I could never see Kurtofsky as anything more then a friendship. Thank you!
this was great!!
