Knock!
Knock!
Knock!
"Hell - Kurt?" Burt looked at his son's tear streaked face and insantly pulled him in for a tight hug.
"Daddy." Kurt sobbed into his fathers shoulder.
"Let's get you inside." Burt lead Kurt inside and ploped him on the couch. He sat on the other side and Kurt climbed into his dad's lap and shoved his head in Burt's neck.
"Don't leave me." Kurt whimpered.
"I'll... I'll never leave you, son." Burt wondered why Kurt came to him rather than Blaine.
"Blaine's not here if you wanted him." Kurt bursted into another round of fresh tears.
"Why didn't he want to see Blaine?" Burt thought as he held his weeping son closer.
A few minutes pasted and Kurt finally got his sobs under controll.
"What's wrong?" Burt asked softly.
"B-Blaine c-ch-cheat-cheated o-on me!" Kurt shouted.
"What?" Burt said in disbelieve.
"Blaine isn't the person that would cheat." Burt thought aloud.
"W-Well he di-did!" Kurt replied.
"Why?"
"Be-Because h-he was lon-lonley! I was t-too, bu-but I did-didn't ch-cheat!" Kurt screamed.
"Shh, shh, shh," Burt rocked his son back and forth, petting his hair softly as he did so.
"I-I lo-love h-him. Why w-would he do tha-that?" Kurt questioned.
"I don't know, kid... I-I really don't know." Burt replied.
"I-I mi-miss him." Kurt said miserably.
"... I..." Burt didn't have any words so he just continued to rock Kurt like he did when he was little.
After a few minutes of rocking and sobbing, Kurt fell asleep with his mouth open, drooling on his Burt's shirt with his thumb slightly by his mouth.
Burt looked at his little boy and memories of when Kurt had nightmears and when his mother passed away floated in his head. Thinking back to that time, Burt felt tears rolling down his face. His boy was broken and he didn't know how to fix him. All he could do was hold him. Hold him and hope that his boy will get better.
