I Can Do It

"I can do it." Blaine whispered to himself, doing up the bottoms on his black shirt and straightening his bow tie. "I can do it." 
"I can do it." Kurt murmured to himself, pulling his slacks and jacket on. "I can do it." 
Kurt and Blaine were celebrating their 3 year anniversary with a trip to breadstix and inevitable sex at their (conveniently planned) hotel suite. 
Each arriving by separate taxis, they met each other outside of the restaurant. Blaine was wearing a navy blue suit and red bow tie, he sense of style still baffled Kurt but God did he look amazing. Kurt was wearing a deep green suit, with white shirt and plumb tie, black Doc Martins pulling the whole outfit together. 
They ate dinner in peaceful silence, it wasnt awkward, just relaxed. When they ordered dessert is when Kurt pounced. 
"Blaine, Ive know you for over three years now and, well, its been the best three years of my life. Getting to know you inside out and love you unconditionally is hard, but I wouldnt give it up for the world. You are my rock. No matter what is happening you have the answer. You are so talented and loving and perfect, I know one day youll make the most perfect father. But for now, Blaine Anderson... Would you do me the honour of becoming my husband?" Kurt got down on one knee and held out a beautiful engagement band incased in a red velvet ring box. 
Blaine was speechless, his eyes tearing up. "Oh god Kurt... I.. I cant accept your proposal. "
Kurt face fell. Blaine didnt want him. Oh god, had Blaine cheated? Kurt started to stand up and walk out but Blaine caught his hand. 
"I cant accept." He repeated. "Unless you accept mine." Blaine was on one knee, holding out his own ring in a Tiffanys box. "Guess we both had the same idea, right?" He chuckled. "Kurt I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, will you, Kurt Hummel, marry me?" 
"Yes" Kurt said through his tear. " yes of course Blaine! Yes!"
