Last night had been bad at his house. His parents were fighting again and even though he had talked to Kurt for hours on the phone he had still broken down. Nobody understood what it was like. His parents were in a heated divorce with no prenuptial agreement. His mom could walk away rich and leave him there. Only six more months until graduation. Six. Blaine walked into Glee club and saw the one thing that always made his days better. He wasn't expecting him there either.

“Kurt...?”

“Hey,” Kurt said smiling and getting up and coming over to him. Kurt enveloped him in a hug and kissed his forehead.

“Why are you here?” Blaine asked.

“Tina said you were singing and I wanted to be here,” Kurt said.

“Kurt...it's not a happy song,” Blaine said. When everyone had sat down Blaine got up and motioned for the band to start. Kurt didn't know the song.

“I'll be coming home...just to be alone,” Blaine started.

“Cause I know you're not there and I know that you don't care...I can hardly wait to leave this place. No matter how hard I try, you're never satisfied. This is not a home, I think I'm better off alone. You always disappear even when you're here. This is not my home, I think I'm better off alone,” Blaine sang with more emphasis.

“Home! Home! This house is not a home! Home! This is house is not a home!”

“By the time you come home, I'm already stoned. You turn off the TV and you scream at me! I can hardly wait till you get off my case!”

He led it into the chorus once again. By now he felt the tears in his eyes and they threatened to spill over. He saw Kurt looking at him worried.

“I'm better off alone!”

This time he saw Kurt flinch but this part or whole song wasn't directed at him. It was to his “family”. They didn't care how he felt about the divorce. They never asked him. His father would be gone all of the time with some new girl and never once bothered with him. Blaine was done with his “father” and had finally spoken to his mom about it. She said she was getting a new house for them. To escape the memories and hate.

“This house is not a home!” he finished. The band stopped and everybody was looking at him surprised. Kurt looked horrified and came over to him.

“Are you okay?” Kurt asked.

“Do I seem okay?” he asked bitterly and walked out. He was almost to the men's room when a hand wrapped around his arm and turned him around. Kurt was looking at him worried and tears staining his cheeks.

“I'm so sorry Blaine...you know I'm here,” Kurt said taking him in his arms.

“I know...but I think I need more than just you Kurt...” Blaine said.

“Talk to a counselor...anybody...I just want you to be okay...” Kurt said. Blaine nodded and kissed Blaine's face over and over.

“I love you so much,” Kurt said.

“I love you too,” Blaine replied. They stood like that for a while until they finally went back to Glee club. Kurt was holding his hand and had his head high and Blaine did too. Maybe things sucked right now but everything would get better. He had so much baggage with his home life that Kurt accepted that not many others would have. They sat down with nobody saying anything until Kurt got up and stood in front of the room.

“My intention today was to see Blaine sing and I also put something together for him,” Kurt said smiling. Blaine smiled at him and gave him all of his attention. Kurt motioned for the band to start. A song he didn't know, surprisingly, started playing.

“I once believed that there was no one for me until I met you. But I couldn't see, how happy I could be until I met you. Until I met you...met you,” Kurt sang in his lower voice.

“Standing alone...no one to call my own, until I met you. All on my own and I was colder than stone until I met you. Yeah..” Kurt sang. Kurt was smiling at him and had moved closer.

“I met you...” Kurt sang slowly to him ending the song. Blaine was crying now. Kurt was too. They were happy tears though. Blaine and him were fighting this battle and Kurt would always be beside him. He wouldn't have it any other way.
