When Kurt Hummel was a little boy, he loved to go to the park. It wasn’t because of the swing sets, or the slide. It was because of a small field through a small clearing of bushes. He could play with his dolls and none of the other kids would make fun of him. He could play how he wanted and that was how he liked it. He liked being alone. So when Kurt ran into the field to find a dark haired little boy running around like an airplane he was surprised, and curious. He watched the other boy for a few minutes before he spotted Kurt and ran over quickly. “Hi I’m Blaine” he said with a grin. Kurt couldn’t help but smile. “Kurt” he stuck out his hand.
That field became of one of the most important spots in both of those little boys lives. It was their hide out, their special place for the friendship that formed almost instantly. When they started to grow and weren’t little boys anymore, it became even more important. It was where Blaine would meet Kurt with coffee, and let him cry about how he was teased or bullied. It was where they sang together at the top of their lungs because no one could tell them not to. It was the place where Blaine first asked Kurt out, and with a shy smile and a blush Kurt said “I thought you’d never ask”. It was the place where they had their first date, holding hands under a blanket of stars, when Blaine rolled over and kissed him, warm and sweet and Kurt remembered feeling something inside him click together. Blaine felt like home. It was where Blaine first said “I love you” as they were huddled together doing homework side by side with warm coffee cups in front of them, and Kurt snapped his head up to meet Blaine’s honey golden eyes full of nothing but adoration. His gaze was so full of love it made his breath hitch right before he said “I love you too”
When Kurt left for New York, Blaine spent every extra moment in their feild. Sometimes he cried, missing Kurt sitting behind him with music and coffee flavored kisses. Sometimes he sat and could almost see them running around when they were little kids, happy to have a friend. Or the time ten year old Kurt yelled at Blaine for jumping in the puddles because “Wet isn’t a fashion statement, Blaine” and he would laugh, and remember things, and he felt empty. The field was only so important because they were together, they were always together. Kurt and Blaine. After they broke up, Blaine couldn’t bring himself to go there anymore.

“This isn’t home anymore” Kurt turned around and walked away. Away from Blaine, away from their whole life and suddenly Blaine couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think, or speak or do anything but stand there with tears burning in his eyes. Home wasn’t a place, it was together. Home was with each other and Blaine wasn’t home to Kurt anymore. He vaguely realizes he’s running and doesn’t know where to until he reaches the field, their clearing. He lets out a sob and falls to the ground, curling up into himself. Without Kurt he didn’t have a home anywhere at all.
Kurt had been out with a few of his old friends from Glee club, drowning in his feelings in cheesecake while everyone else chattered around him. His mind kept drifting to Blaine. Sweet, loving, dapper Blaine. Thinking about how much he loved him, even still. He loved him so much it took his breath away if he thought about it. He was startled out of his thinking by Sam’s voice “Does anyone know where Blaine is? His mom just texted me saying he didn’t go home, and no one knows where he went off to” he looks a little worried. Kurt’s heart stops, and for a second he freezes. He knows where Blaine is, knows exactly where his love was. “I have to go” he says abruptly. He jogs to his car quickly and starts on the familiar path, shaking hands gripping the steering wheel as it hit him all at once how much he /needed/ Blaine, and how much Blaine needed him in return. The future was out Blaine was bleak and dull. No one could make him laugh like Blaine, no one could make him smiles as much, cheer him up. No one had ever known him like Blaine has, and no one would love him as much as him, and there was no one Kurt Hummel loved more than Blaine. His Blaine.
He ran into the park, not even bothering to lock his car and he dashed through the trees and into the middle of the clearing. He heard the sobs before his eyes adjusted to the dark enough to see him. Face pressed to his knees, sobbing with his arms wrapped tightly around himself, as if it was the only thing keeping him together. Kurt’s heart shattered
“Blaine” he said softly kneeling next to him and tried to smile as Blaine’s head snapped up to meet his eyes.
“Kurt?” he let out another small sob and Kurt just leaned forward, wrapped the boy up in his arms. He held him tightly while they both cried, rocking them back and forth. Finally Blaine looked up, took a deep breath and opened his mouth, but before he could say anything Kurt interrupted.
“I love you Blaine. I always have and I always will. You messed up, but I know you’ll spend the rest of your life loving me like no one ever could. I could never love anyone else, you’re it for me. I want you forever. I want us, forever”
Blaine let out another choked sob “I love you so much, Kurt”
Kurt leaned forward pressing a kiss to the other boys soft lips, and everything clicked. Everything felt right again. He could breath again. He was home again.
End Notes: I know this sucks but I needed to get over my break up feels so here you go

This was really good and I hope that Glee will allow us to have a Klaine reunion sometime in the near future. I like that you had Kurt forgive him and realize that they need each other. I look forward to reading your future stories.

Wow, thank you! This means a lot I've never gotten a review on any of my writing :D. You're wonderful, I will continue to write :)

I love your Kurt here because he realizes that no one will ever love him like Blaine does and he will love no other as much as he loves Blaine. I like what you wrote here and thank you for sharing.

That's how I picture it being, I think in the show their a little lost but they know they're made for each other. I wanted to write that. Thank you so much I'm so happy you enjoy it :D
