Disclaimer- I don’t own Glee, although there would be much more Klaine if I did, the rest of it would be shockingly bad.

CHAPTER ONE- Baby, it’s bad out there.

“Blaine?”
Kurt peered round the bedroom door to find Blaine fast asleep. In Kurt’s bedroom. On Kurt’s bed. He sighed, as much as he wanted to, he couldn’t wake up the sleeping Blaine. It was snowing outside and the cold had spread into the room. Burt firmly refused to put the heating on until November, no matter how much he, Finn and Carol complained. He noticed Blaine shiver slightly, his coat was placed carefully over the back of the desk chair, but it was damp from the snow. In all honesty, he wasn’t entirely sure why Blaine had come over tonight, he had been suffering from flu for the past two weeks and was only just begun to recover. Although, not enough, apparently. Kurt padded across the room to the cupboard and brought out his faux fur throw. He placed it gently over the sleeping Blaine, whose eyes flickered for a moment but he immediately descended back into his sleep. Kurt sighed again, he hadn’t seen Blaine much over the past couple of weeks, well in fact, he hadn’t seen him once. He had been too contagious. He wanted to shake him out of his sleep and kiss him, he had missed those kisses. He wanted to see his deep chocolate eyes that could melt Kurt’s heart and inhibitions almost immediately. But he couldn’t, Blaine was sleeping uneasily, Kurt could tell by the way his eyes twitched occasionally, the way his fists clenched, the way his nose wrinkled. Kurt smiled. Blaine was perfect, utterly, completely perfect.

Kurt threw his towel around himself; the shower had been nice after the biting air outside. He had been at Rachel’s when Blaine rang and told him his mum was finally releasing him from quarantine. He’d had a couple of glasses of ros and had run into his house, face flushed, beaming with excitement. Finn had informed Kurt that Blaine still looked ‘Frankenstein green’ and said ‘I don’t know dude, I’d go easy’. Kurt applied his facial cleanser and then pushed open the door to his room.
“Hello beautiful.”
Blaine’s voice was croaky and his eyes were still puffy and bleary but this wasn’t a major issue for Kurt who practically leapt on top of his boyfriend.
“Hey steady, don’t go knocking your towel off. Although in all honesty, I wouldn’t mind too much but, you’ve left your door wide open.” Blaine grinned sleepily.
Kurt flushed a colour not dissimilar from a beetroot and promptly closed the door.
“Sorry, I really didn’t mean to fall asleep, and I know it’s really late now and ugh, sorry.”
Kurt silenced him with a kiss. A two week awaited kiss. It was desperate and filled with all the silent conformations that they’d missed each other too much and that two weeks was too long. It was long and heavy, and Kurt had to almost blink back tears, he had missed every single part of that mouth, that tongue, an unreasonable amount. Maybe it was the wine talking, he couldn’t be sure.
“You shouldn’t be kissing me, trouble, you’ll get ill too!”
“Oh, as if I care, I’ve missed you”
“I’ve missed you too- my mum’s cooking isn’t a patch on yours!”
“That all you’ve missed me for?”
Blaine took Kurt into another kiss. “No…kiss…of course…kiss…not…kiss…you…kiss…silly thing…”
Kurt smiled. “Coffee?”
“I thought you’d never ask”

“It’s late, I should get going,” Blaine said regretfully.
“But baby, it’s cold outside’, Kurt winked at him. Blaine smiled reminiscing on their time together at Dalton Academy. “Ah, we really did shamelessly flirt didn’t we? No wonder Wez and Dave used to tease me mercilessly”.
Kurt shrugged in reply, his mouth full of the grapes he’d just found. Blaine sneezed, and at that moment Burt and Finn came downstairs. “Kurt, can I talk to you a minute?” Kurt nodded and left Blaine and Finn in the kitchen together. “Kurt, is Blaine staying over tonight?” Kurt started at this. Was his Dad agreeing to let him, or..? “I don’t think he was planning on, although, I don’t really want him to walk home on his own.”
“Well, he can.” Burt looked uneasy, “but Kurt… remember, it’s, er, my house okay?”

Kurt shuffled back into the kitchen, trying and failing to conceal the grin that was rapidly spreading over his face. Blaine and Finn were in a heated argument about football. As per. Kurt was glad that his family got on with his boyfriend but they did have the tendency to invite Blaine over when Kurt wasn’t there to watch the football. Many times Kurt had come home to find Blaine making half time snacks; was given a swift kiss and was left to his own devices.
“Finn, Kurt, can I speak to Blaine in private for a moment?” Burt raised his eyebrows at his sons. Finn scurried away looking awkward, and Kurt just gawped at Burt in sheer embarrassment. Burt simply winked at Kurt an ushered him out the kitchen.

Kurt lay sprawled out on his bed, waiting for Blaine to re-join him. He dreaded to think what horror stories his dad was telling Blaine. He ran his fingers through his hair absent-mindedly recalling the sex talk Burt had attempted to have with him earlier in the year. He shuddered. Footsteps. Kurt bolted for the door and let Blaine into the safety of his room.
“Well, what happened? Did he say something? Was it awful? Will you ever talk to him again?”
“Kurt, calm down” Blaine sneezed, and reached for a tissue, “he just wanted to tell me the rules of the house.”
“We don’t have any rules? You know the rules?”
“Well, I assume he just thinks I’m going to be here overnight more often, I don’t know.” Blaine took Kurt into his arms and rested his head on the crook of Kurt’s shoulder. “So”, Blaine’s mouthed curled into a cheeky smile, “I’m staying over.” Kurt smiled back, “you still look awful, Blaine.”
“Thanks a lot!” Blaine stepped back and held his hands up in mock offense, “speaking of looking awful, could I have a shower?”

Blaine opened the bedroom door to find Kurt in his pyjama bottoms, staring out the window. He wrapped his arms around his boyfriend and leant his head on his shoulder.
“You’re soaking, gerroff!” Kurt protested, but this only made Blaine hold on to him tighter. Laughing, Kurt struggled against the strong arms around his waist. Blaine turned Kurt around and for a moment their lips were rested just a millimetre apart until they settled into a familiar kiss. Kurt’s hands ran through Blaine’s hair, his fingers getting tangled in the damp curls.
“I love your hair loose” Kurt murmured into Blaine’s mouth. Blaine chuckled, “only for you.”
Kurt’s hands slid down his boyfriend’s chest, memorising every muscle. He felt Blaine’s skin shiver and turn into goosebumps. “You’re cold, get into bed, I’ll shove a film on and go and get you a lemsip, and you just get warm. You’re not getting ill again, I can’t deal without your face for a whole two weeks again!” Blaine held on to Kurt for longer but eventually obliged, besides, Blaine enjoyed Kurt taking control. He flopped into bed. Kurt’s bed was his favourite place in the entire world, Kurt always insisted on having clean sheets, Egyptian cotton of course, with pillows fluffed to such an extent that he was pretty sure Kurt stuffed them with extra feathers every night. There was a duvet, thicker but lighter than any other, and a fleece that Kurt usually cocooned himself up in to watch various musicals. Blaine could feel his eyes getting heavy again. He smiled to himself at all Kurt’s silly, adorable mannerisms.

The door slammed a little too loudly and Blaine jolted, realising he’d fallen asleep again. Kurt was stood over him with that face, the ‘mock disapproving’ face that Kurt was so fond of.
“Lemsip, sleepy.”
“You are perfect.”
Kurt curled up in bed around Blaine, their legs interlocking. Kurt had put ‘Beauty and The Beast’ on, he had never questioned why this was one of Blaine’s favourite films. But he watched Blaine’s face mouth along all the words and grinned to himself. Blaine looked down and smiled back. He tilted Kurt’s face up to his own and pressed their lips together, he felt Kurt sigh happily, the warm breath poured into his mouth. Suddenly the kiss became hotter and heavier. They sank down into the bed. The beast serenading them from the corner of the room.
“Your lemsip’s getting cold”, Kurt breathed.
“Shut up”, Blaine pulled him in again, running his tongue across Kurt’s teeth. Kurt’s hands fell onto Blaine’s chest again, feeling his heart beating a mile a minute. He dragged his teeth down Blaine’s lip and felt him moan gently. Their legs tangled and untangled. Kurt felt Blaine’s eyelashes across his cheek and shivered at the light touch. He was moving down, kissing Kurt’s chest, hands pinning him to the bed. Kurt’s fingers ran through Blaine’s curls again.

Blaine sneezed loudly.

Sweating, still breathing heavily, Kurt burst out laughing. “You’re not meant to spit on my chest Blaine, that’s not sexy!” Kurt was almost crying with laughter when he finally noticed Blaine’s puppy eyes. “Aw, Blaine, don’t be silly, it’s funny!”
“I was trying to be sexy!” Blaine sulked. Which made Kurt laugh more, although he tried to hold it in. Kurt pulled Blaine into him and kissed him gently. He took his boyfriend in his arms and cuddled him, a little too hard. “Kurt, ouch!”
“Drink your drink; you’re not well enough to be fooling around anyway.” Blaine scowled at Kurt but settled into his boyfriend, his head resting on his chest. It was only a few minutes before he heard Blaine’s breathing become deep and peaceful.
