Kurt wears a lot of layers, but he has his reasons. He doesn't really like his body. Blaine helps him accept himself.
Author's Notes: I know you can't fix a low self-esteem like this, but it helps.
“Uhm... Kurt?”
The boy turned around, holding the two long-sleeved shirts he was comparing in his hands. He looked questioning at Blaine, who was sitting on the bed. He was already dressed, in a grey V-neck and a pair of shorts.
“You do know it’s 100F outside, right?”
Well... Blaine already regretted asking it, because Kurt gave him one of his famous bitch glares. “I know, honey. Your point?”
Blaine chuckled. “You’re wearing a black skinny jeans, an undershirt, you’re now picking a long sleeved button-down shirt and I see that your scarf is already picked out. We’re going to the park, Kurt. In the sunshine.”
“Every occasion is an opportunity for fashion, honey,” Kurt stated, “You should be used to my, amazing if I may say so, fashionable clothing by now.”
Blaine stood up from the bed and wrapped his hands around his boyfriend. He nuzzled in the crook of Kurt’s neck and gave him a soft kiss. “I love your clothes. I love the way you dress. But I don’t want to get you overheated,” he smiled, “Well, not unless I have to do something with it.”
Kurt turned around. “You and your ambiguous jokes.” Though he tried to sound a little mad, he just couldn’t resist those eyes. He moved his lips to Blaine’s and kissed them softly. When he tried to pull back, he felt a hand on the back of his head, it was Blaine trying to pull him closer.
He opened his mouth a little bit, and already felt his boyfriend’s tongue licking his lips. Kurt started to massage Blaine’s tongue with his and soon they were lost in a long, sweet, yet passionate kiss.
Until Kurt’s phone buzzed. He pulled back and looked at his texts.

“We need to get ready,” Kurt stated, “Mercedes, Sam and the others are on their way.”
Blaine raised his hands. “Hey, I was ready. Just waiting for you. But you do have to lose some of the clothes, baby. You’ll be boiling in a few hours.”
Kurt sighed. “You can’t laugh with me, okay?”
“Why would I laugh with you?”
He fumbled at his clothes. “I’m just... I guess I’m just not too comfortable with less clothes.”
Blaine frowned. “What do you mean? You walk around in T-shirts and in shorts at school too, right?”
“Yes, but...,” he sighed, “My clothes... They kind of protect me. When I’m in all those layers... Nobody can really see me, you know? They can’t see how I look under my clothes.”
Blaine stood up. “Are you saying that you’re not comfortable with your body, Kurt? Because you should be. You look great.”
He smiled nervously. “You’re my boyfriend. You need to tell me that. That’s kind of your job.”
He shook his head. “Yes, I think you’re hot, Kurt. But you’re also beautiful. You are a really handsome guy, babe. You’re really, really beautiful.”
Kurt smiled. “Thanks, Blaine. But you’re still biased.”
Blaine couldn’t see this. He didn’t understand how Kurt could even consider that he didn’t look good. He was his boyfriend, so yes, he was biased, but he was still a guy. Who likes boys. So he could say that his boyfriend was seriously gorgeous. “Come on,” he said, “Lay down on the bed.”
“Wh-? What? Blaine, what are you do-”, Kurt protested while he was pushed towards the bed.
Blaine kissed his forehead. “I am going to show you exactly how beautiful you are.” And so he did. He sat down next to Kurt and traced a finger on his left leg.
“Your legs are muscled. They’re long. And you have a lot of hair, which I find extremely attractive in guys.”
Then he moved his hand to Kurt’s thighs. He looked at Kurt and winked while he placed one hand on the boy’s ass. “Not to be sterotypical, but you really have a nice ass.” Kurt giggled, but it didn’t stop his boyfriend.
When Blaine’s hand passed Kurt’s crotch, he chuckled. “Well, this is a part you can keep private for me.” Kurt was blushing.
When Blaine moved his fingers to Kurt’s shirt, he made him sit up. “Can I take of your shirt?”
Kurt smiled. “Sure.” A few seconds after this, Kurt was shirtless. This wasn’t the first time they’d be shirtless around each other, but Kurt still felt a little weird.
“You... Kurt, baby, don’t ever, ever, ever doubt about your looks. You are really, really beautiful. And hot.” He stroked Kurt’s flat stomach with his hand, causing the boy to shiver. “You look amazing, Kurt. You dress amazing, you are funny, you’re witty and you’re sweet. And then I haven’t even talked about your pecs.”
Kurt chuckled and put his hand on Blaine’s neck. His eyes were a little teary as he whispered: “Thank you. I love you, Blaine.”
“I love you too, Kurt,” they sat a moment in silence, “We should go.”
“I still don’t know what to wear though,” Kurt said, “Help me out here, Blaine. I’m not good in summer clothing. And if you ever tell someone that I said this, then there’s no more kissing for you, by the way.”
Blaine chuckled and opened the dresser of his boyfriend. He grabbed a white, tight V-neck and grabbed a pair of plaid, grey shorts. “Here you go.”
Kurt’s mouth fell open. “That’s... little clothing.”
Blaine shrugged. “Same as I’m wearing, honey. But if you don’t want to wear it, you don’t have to, of course.”
The boy smiled. “I’ll just trust you... But I am wearing a designer belt.”
