“Dear Mr Hummel.

            We are sorry to say that you were not accepted.”

Who knew that one sentence could destroy every ounce of happiness within a person.

 “What does it say?” Rachel questioned nervously.

 “I wasn’t accepted.” Kurt thought he had screamed it, but it came out more as a whisper.

 Rachel grabs her letter off of the stool and walks a few steps away. She opens it and almost screams. Tears fill her eyes as she turns back around to her finance and best friend.

 “Oh god, not you too?” Kurt looked defeated.

 “No, I WAS accepted.” Rachel nearly screeches.

 Something in Kurt snaps, he slaps Rachel across the face before running from the room in tears.

 He barely hears Finn yell at him, at the moment he couldn’t care. He is looking for his rock right now. He stops running when he reaches the end of a hallway; he leaned against the wall before falling to the floor sobbing uncontrollably.

 He looks up suddenly and starts screaming.

 “WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! IT’S BAD ENOUGH YOU MADE ME GAY IN OHIO, BUT THEN YOU TAKE AWAY MY MOM WHEN IM EIGHT, THEN I ALMOST LOOSE MY FATHER TO YOU LAST YEAR AND NOW THIS?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE IN YOU WHEN ALL YOU DO IS SCREW ME OVER!”

 “I don’t think that’s the proper way to speak to him.”

 Kurt looks up and sees his boyfriend staring down at him with a strange look on his face.

 “I’m going out on a limb and saying that you weren’t accepted.” Blaine murmured as he slid down next to Kurt on the ground.

 “You would be correct. Finn didn’t get into the actors studio either.” Kurt knew the question was coming, he just didn’t know how to answer it.

 “What about Rachel?” Blaine sounded upset.

“Let’s recap her senior year shall we. She stuffed my ballot box, got suspended. Got the school lead in West Side Story. Majorly choked her audition, bugged the shit out of Carmen, and yet still managed to get into NYADA. Where as I mainted a 3.0 kept Sebastian away from you, and squeezed into those damn gold pants where I rivaled Hughe Jackmans performance, but I didn't get in? Is this where I’m supposed to add that I bitched slapped her?”

 “Are you fucking kidding me Kurt? I’m so sorry that you didn’t get in, you nailed your audition. The only way you couldn’t have gotten in, is if Carmen was a major homophobe.” Blaine was trying his hardest to make Kurt feel better.

 “What am I going to do Blaine? They are the only school I applied to.”

 “Here’s what were going to do. I’m going to make the most of my senior year, and apply at every college in New York. And you’re going to stay here in Ohio one more year. Take some classes at the local community college. Maybe get some of the generic classes out of the way. Then next year we will both go to New York together. How does that sound to you?”

 “Like a plan. Come on, I’ve got to go find dad and Carole, and I guess apologize to Rachel.”

 Sure, Kurt didn’t get into NYADA, but he gets to spend another year here with Blaine.
