Blaine sat anxiously in the stiff airport chair. His legs bouncing with anxiety, his eyes moving just as fast as his legs searching for any type of movement through the gate. He was starting to second-guess agreeing with Burt and Carole to let him come pick Kurt up alone. His nerves were getting the best of him. It had been 4 months since he had last seen Kurt. Of course they had Skype calls almost everyday but it wasn't the same. Blaine needed to (i) hold (I) Kurt, he needed to twist his fingers through his hair, Blaine needed Kurt's lips on his for the first time in 4 months. Blaine's eyes flickered to the arrivals screen, "New York City-Arrived," it read. Blaine immediately sprung from his seat and sped walked down to the farthest point he could go without getting another dirty look from the security guard, he had already gotten multiple for pestering them about Kurt's planes arrival time. There was a crowd of people already waiting for the family, friends, or loved ones. Somehow Blaine had made it past the center but not quite to the front where he would be able to see. As the first trickle of people started to come into view from around the corner Blaine stood on his toes trying to get a glimpse of the passengers onboarding. As more and more passengers were coming through the gate Blaine was getting more and more anxious. What if Kurt got delayed and didn't make it on this flight? No, Blaine thought, he would have called. As a large woman with an oversized bejeweled purse pushed her way past Blaine a rhinestone from her purse got stuck on Blaine sweater.
"Hey!" She yelled, obviously thinking he had grabbed it. Blaine was fumbling for words as she continued to pester him while be was still attempting to see past the top of everyone’s heads when he spotted an unmistakable, perfectly styled, puff of brown hair. That puff of hair must have somehow spotted the top of a curly haired Blaine (Kurt's request as it would make Blaine a little taller; therefore easier to spot) Blaine could see Kurt's head clearer now, it was moving faster towards Blaine. He pushed his way through the crowd, ripping his sweater from the women's purse in the process, frantically making his way to the front o the crowd. As Kurt's face came into view a look of pure desperation came over it. The Do Not Enter sign was not seen, the officer’s yells not heard, Kurt's face filled all of Blaine senses. He tore his way between the last two people separating them. Kurt's arms opened just as Blaine reached him. And just like that Kurt was in his arms. Blaine let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding, he gasped in a breath full of the smell of (I) Kurt (I). Kurt pressed his forehead against Blaine's, such a simple gesture but Kurt let out a shaky sob of joy. Kurt tangled his hands in Blaine's ungelled curls, finally crashing his lips to Blaine's not caring who was watching them. As they pulled apart Blaine looked up into Kurt's tear stained eyes with his own wet ones Blaine let out a shaky sentence.
" I missed you." He said. Kurt pressed his lips to Blaine's once more before they joined hands as he whispered in Blaine's ear, "I missed you too." As Kurt and Blaine walked off to their car hand in hand with Blaine's head on Kurt's shoulder, the woman with the bejeweled purse turned to see them walking off. With a smile on her face she turned back to wait for her husband to come into view as the couple behind her sauntered off.
