Blaine is terrified of Kurt ever leaving him, but leaving Blaine is the absolute last thing to ever cross Kurt's mind. FLUFFY FLUFF.
"Hey Blaine, can we talk?" Kurt called out from the living room of their temporary, tiny apartment. They were going to live in it just for a little, while they were in college together.
"Sure babe." Blaine strolled out of their bathroom with shaving cream on half of his face. Kurt turned off the television and stood up to meet Blaine.
"What's up?" His hazel eyes grew wider with wonder.
"I've been thinking about this for awhile..." Kurt began.
"Oh god, no Kurt." Blaine's eyes began to fill with tears, "Please, PLEASE don't say you're breaking up with me?"
"Blaine-"
"Whatever I did I'm sorry. Well actually I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything wrong... but if you're angry I can fix it I promise."
"Blaine I-"
"Kurt I need you." Blaine took both of Kurt's hands, "You may not need me because you're so strong but I need you. And I love you. Don't leave me Kurt. You're everything. I love you so much and-"
"Blaine!" Kurt laughed.
"W-what?"
"I just wanted to talk to you about cleaning up after yourself after you make food. The kitchen's a mess." Kurt calmly said. He saw Blaine's heart sink and melt onto the floor.
He let out a huge sigh, "Kurt you- you really frightened me." He whispered.
Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine.
"So many people have left me in the past, I just don't want you to leave me too." Blaine's voice trembled.
"Blaine. I'm never leaving you." Kurt squeezed his boyfriend of four years, "Hold on." He said as he scurried to the kitchen and returned with his hands behind his back, "I was planning on doing this differently but..." Kurt said as he kneeled in front of Blaine.
"Kurt? Oh my god..." Blaine put his hands over his open mouth.
"Blaine Anderson. You were there for me in the darkest time of my life. You were there when no one else was. You are...everything, and for you to even think I would ever leave you breaks my heart. I need you. We need eachother, forever. We balance eachother out, you know?" Kurt giggled and blushed, tears forming in his eyes, " I don't want anyone else to have you. I don't care if that's selfish, I know it is but I want you to be mine. You're the most beautiful man I've ever met. I love you."
Blaine was full on sobbing, shaking trying to hold the tears in but he just couldn't.
"Marry me, Blaine?" Kurt asked, his voice squeaky from the nerves.
"Kurt! Yes!" Blaine cried and pulled Kurt up, pressing his lips against Kurt's.
They both fell into the sweet, tender kiss. Wrapping their arms around eachother, tasting salty tears.
"I was going to wait. I've been hiding this ring in the back of the cabinet for weeks but, I never want you to ever doubt how much I love you again, okay?" Kurt said, still holding onto Blaine.
"Never again." Blaine chuckled, "I love you so much.
Kurt pulled out of the hug and took Blaine's trembling hand in his own trembling hand and slipped the golden ring onto his finger.
"It's beautiful. You're beautiful." Blaine gawked.
Kurt smeared the shaving cream all around Blaine's face and clothes laughing.
"Hey!" Blaine playfully yelled as he began to chase Kurt around their tiny little apartment.
