Kurt smiles when he feels Blaine’s arms slide around his waist. A soft moan escapes his lips as he stretches. “Did I wake you?” Blaine whispers, nibbling on his earlobe.
“No, I was only just dozing off.” Kurt turns and meets his boyfriend’s eyes, “hi there.” Planting a kiss on Blaine’s lips. “I missed you.” he whispers, “where’ve you been?”
“I’m here now.” Blaine smiles, ”that’s all that matters”, trailing his fingers over Kurt’s nose in a loving manner. Wrinkling it, he hides his face, the tingling sensation of Blaine’s touch overwhelming him. After all this time he’s still not used to it and he isn’t quite convinced whether he’ll ever be. Blaine grabs Kurt’s arms, pulling them away from his face, resting them in between them and entwining their hands. They smile and share a kiss, it started off as a little peck in which they quickly got lost. Kurt’s hands rediscovering the plains of Blaine’s chest. His heart skips a beat as Blaine’s taste once again intoxicates him, Blaine’s smell making his mind go fuzzy. “I love you.” Kurt slightly pants as they break apart.
“I know.” Blaine smiles. “I love you too.” his hands resting in the small of Kurt’s back, thumb stroking the skin. They lay their silently enjoying each other’s company, time passing by too quickly.
“I miss you.” Kurt sighs again, taking in more of Blaine’s smell, it was too faint for his liking.
Blaine looks outside and sighs “It’s nearing dawn.”
“No. Please, stay.” Kurt begs. His hands grabbing onto him. Blaine sighs and shakes his head. “Blaine, please. What if my memory of you fades? Your smell has already disappeared from your clothes. What if…” Kurt starts crying, panic overtaking him.
Blaine wraps his arms around him, kissing Kurt’s temple “Shsh, you won’t. And if you ever feel like I’m slipping away, just look at the sky. I’m right there.”
“I don’t want you to go.” Kurt sniffs.
“I love you Kurt.” Blaine whispers, kissing Kurt softly.
Kurt opens his eyes, not feeling Blaine’s lips on his anymore. The room is empty, the rays of sunlight enter the room through the small openings of the blinds, shedding light on reality again. Blaine’s old shirt, wrapped around his shoulder. The arms of it around his, holding them tight in his hands. Blaine’s smell ever so faint, wearing off more and more from being hold night after night, still slightly tickling his nose. He sighs lying down in an empty bed. No matter what he tries, no matter what he does. Blaine’s gone.
And all I see is him and me forever and forever
And I know it's only in my mind
That I'm talking to myself and not to him
I love him
But only on my own
