Author's Notes: This fic follows "Fantasy" and takes place immediately before "Touchdown."
Heart throbbing in his chest like the bass in his Navigator when he blared Cher's 'Believe' on his way home from school, Kurt strode down the hallway and stepped into the kitchen. He looked around and froze with his hand on the fridge's handle, ears peeled for even the faintest sound. There was nothing but the electric hum of the refrigerator and his excitedly thudding pulse. Satisfied that he wasn't going to get barged in on at any second, he pulled open the door and shivered as the chilled air brushed past his flushed skin. His fingers grasped a bottle from the bottom shelf, and as he stood and pushed the door shut, Finn bustled in the room, immediately opening cabinets.

"Uh hey, Finn. I thought you had football pictures until five," Kurt said, backing against the island and trying to look cool, like there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary about the situation.

"Have you seen my pads? I need them for pictures and can't find them anywhere," Finn said distractedly, still not looking at him and digging around as if he was really going to find them under the sink. Kurt swallowed down the lump in his throat and tried to force his eyebrows to retreat from his hairline.

"Nope, sure haven't," Kurt said, "Where'd you see them last?"

"They were in my closet yesterday, I swear," Finn sighed, obviously having determined that they in fact weren't in the cabinet above the microwave. He turned and dropped against the oven, finally taking Kurt in. "Why are you wearing your old Cheerios uniform?"

"I was feeling nostalgic. That, and I'm doing laundry." Finn's eyes drifted to the closet on the other side room that housed the washer and dryer. It was shut and silent. Finn dragged his gaze away from the doors and gave Kurt a curious look, which Kurt responded to with a nervous laugh. "I mean I'm getting ready to do laundry. Just needed to get something to drink before I continued sorting."

"Dehydrated?" Finn asked, looking down at the bottle of grape Gatorade clutched in Kurt's hand.

"You have no idea," Kurt said, "Now, if you'll excuse me."

"Cheerio Kurt! When I say that I need Gatorade, I mean I need Gatorade. There's no way I'm going to be able to catch the winning pass if I-" Blaine announced as he made his way down the hall, prompting Kurt to shut his eyes in horror. As soon as Blaine stepped over the threshold of the kitchen and realized that Kurt wasn't alone, he stopped in his tracks, frozen on the spot.

"Dude," Finn complained, practically whining as he took Blaine in. He stood there shoeless on the tile dressed only in some black boxer briefs and Finn's football pads.

"Oh... hey Finn," Blaine said, shifting to the other foot, "I was just..."

"I need those for football pictures," Finn said.

"Right." Blaine swallowed thickly and nodded, lifting the pads off his shoulders and handing them over. "I'm going to go back to your room now." He left the room so fast, if they were in a cartoon, he would've left a plume of dust in his wake.

"Nostalgic, huh?" Finn asked.

"I don't know what to say," Kurt mumbled, so embarrassed he was contemplating sticking his head in the oven Finn was still leaning against. As if Blaine's intentionally pervy comment in Glee club the other day hadn't been bad enough.

"Can you not use my stuff for... you know."

"It wasn't planned. I'm really sorry. Blaine found my Cheerios uniform in my closet and-"

"Really don't want the details."

"Right. Sorry. It won't happen again."

Finn looked like he really wanted to say something else, but instead he shook his head at the pads in his hand and left out the back door. Kurt sighed before taking a long sip of the Gatorade and barging down the hallway.

"Blaine Anderson. I give you one direction--to stay in my room and be quiet--and you can't even do that," he shouted as he stepped back into his bedroom and slammed the door shut.

"Uh-oh. Am I in trouble again? Because you still haven't punished me for that yet," Blaine said, lying on his side with his head propped up on his hand. Kurt tried to ignore the way his underwear was magnificently snug against his muscular thighs.

"I'm about to go Sue Sylvester on your ass," Kurt said. Blaine grinned as he dropped to his back, Kurt straddling him in an instant. "And if your performance isn't up to par, I'm just going to make you do it again."

"I've never been so motivated to throw a game in my life," Blaine breathed before yanking Kurt down by the front of his uniform.

"I'm about to go Sue Sylvester on your ass."Does that mean he's going to shoot something from a cannon into it? *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
