Blaine knew it had been a rough day for Kurt. He received his rejection letter from NYADA. He had called Blaine and wasnÕt crying; his voice was strained and trying to hard to sound normal. Kurt wasnÕt ok; Blaine could hear it. He might be able to fool Rachel and Finn, but Blaine knew him too well for that.

Blaine picked up every kind of comfort food he could think for Kurt. He also picked up a bouquet of flowers, bright red, orange, and purple gerber daisies. He thought they looked happy, and loved the meaning Ôbeauty and greatness unknown to the possessorÕ, which always made him think of Kurt.

He was waiting in KurtÕs kitchen when he got home. He walked straight into BlaineÕs arms, not even pausing to put down his bag. Blaine could feel KurtÕs resolve fading as he held him, until Kurt was crying in his arms. Blaine held him until Kurt couldnÕt cry anymore, then gave him flowers and helped him bake cookies. They spent the entire night wrapped in each otherÕs arms, comforting each other. Then started figuring out Plan B in the morning.

It wasnÕt ok, but everything would be ok eventually, as long as they had each other.
