Kurt was confused.

He opened his calender on his phone and checked the date. Yep it was March 15th alright. So why hadn’t Blaine mentioned anything all day? It had been a year since they got together after their kiss in the practice room at Dalton. Kurt made sure that he had the right date one more time (and who was he joking. He had all but made March 15th a religious holiday) before sighing and putting his phone away.

He walked down the hall towards his locker, a depressed look covering his face. He smiled weakly at Rachel who waved brightly at him as he opened his locker and gazed at the picture he and Blaine had taken together over winter break. Their cheeks were pressed against each others, the snow floating around them, huge smiles covering their flushed faces.

Grabbing his books Kurt quickly tore his gaze away from the picture and shut his locker a little more harshly than was called for. He turned towards the choir room and began his journey to Glee club, not feeling very gleeful himself.

He walked into the Choir room head down, not really paying attention to the people he knew were already there. He really didn’t want to see Mike and Tina, who always seemed to be in a perfect relationship, or Finn and Rachel together, who even though always seemed to be fighting seemed happy at the moment.

Kurt headed towards his normal seat and was about to sit down when he felt a hand grab his hip. He couldn’t help but jump a little (years of bullying will do that to a person) as he turned towards the offender. He couldn’t help but smile when he saw Blaine, staring back at him beaming.

“Blaine! You scared me!” Kurt quickly leaned in and gave him a peck on the cheek. No matter how disappointed he was, he couldn’t just ignore his boyfriend.

“My bad Kurt.” Blaine looked down at his feet, the smile never leaving his face. “So I have a surprise for you…” The jazz band began to play and Blaine backed away from Kurt and began to sing.

Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you,
Tomorrow I’ll miss you;
Remember I’ll always be true.
And then while I’m away,
I’ll write home ev’ry day,
And I’ll send all my loving to you.

I’ll pretend That I’m kissing
the lips I am missing
And hope that my dreams will come true.
And then while I’m away,
I’ll write home ev’ry day,
And I’ll send all my loving to you.

As he sang the rest of the Glee club came up to Kurt handing him purple tulips, his favorite flower. He felt tears begin to form and fall down his cheeks as he watched his boyfriend sing.

All my loving I will send to you.
All my loving, darling I’ll be true.

Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you,
Tomorrow I’ll miss you:
Remember I’ll always be true.
And then while I’m away,
I’ll write home ev’ry day,
And I’ll send all my loving to you

Blaine danced towards him and took the bouquet of flowers and put them in Kurt’s usual chair. He grabbed Kurt’s hands and dragged him forward, dancing slowly. He sang the last verse softly, while spinning them in slow circles.

All my loving I will send to you.
All my loving darling I’ll be True.
All my loving All my loving ooh
All my loving I will send to you

The music stopped and Kurt pulled Blaine in tightly to his body.

“I thought you had forgotten. You didn’t mention it all day.” It was Kurt’s turn to look bashfully at his feet. Now he was embarrassed that he had ever thought badly of Blaine.

“I could never forget you Kurt. I love you and I can’t wait to spend a hundred more years with you” Blaine leaned in and covered Kurt’s lips with his own, kissing him deeply, both boys oblivious to the cheers from the rest of the Glee club.
