It was week two of finals week(s) in the Hummel-Anderson shared apartment. Since it was Blaine's first year of college and Kurt's second. Kurt thought that they would be easier. But apparently that's not how it worked. Blaine had gotten through his finals week just fine. But Kurt's was the week after and he was having a horrible time. The place was covered in post-it notes. There were notebooks and books scatered every where. 

Kurt sat on the bed with his head burried in his history textbook readying the last of the fourth chapter he'd looked at that night. Blaine watched his eyebrows furrow every time he would read a long section. 

Blaine walked out of the room in to the living room and began tapping out keys on their shared keyboard. 

"Blaine babe can you please-" Kurt stopped when he could recognize the music that was being played. He stood up and walked out. 

I  can show you the world

Shining, shimmering, splendid 

Tell me, prince-

he stopped to think. 

Tell me prince Kurt 

now when did 

You last let your heart decide? 

Kurt smiled at him. 

I can open your eyes 

Take you wonder by wonder 

Over, sideways and under 

On a magic carpet ride 

Blaine stood up to reveal that he wasn't really playing the music, it was just a pre-recorded song on the keyboard. He continued to sing. 

A whole new world

A new fantastic point of view

Kurt stood with a smile on his face trying not to laugh at him.  "Your gonna help me out right..?" Blaine spoke for the first time since he'd started his song.  Kurt shook his head and Blaine gave him these huge eyes, begging him to. He smiled and continued the Jasmine verses of the song. 

A whole new world

A dazzling place I never knew

But, now, from way up here

It's crystal clear

now I'm in a whole new world with you. 

Blaine walked over to Kurt and grabbed him by both of his hands and started swaying back and forth, much like they had at their first prom together.

Blaine chimed in with him. 

Unbelievable sights

Indescribable feeling

Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling

Through an endless diamond sky

A whole new world

Kurt continued, but smile the whole time laughing at Blaine being so goofy.  Blaine let go of his hands and put his own over Kurt's eyes 

Don't you dare close your eyes.  Kurt went on. A hundred thousand things to see. 

Blaine continued the rest of the song with Kurt singing alone with him. Sometimes he would put his hand out and dramatically sing to him. Sometimes he would pull him close, by the end of the song they were both singing together. 

A whole new world

A thrilling chase

A wondrous place

For you and me. 

Blaine led Kurt over to the window of their appartment and looked out at the night lights. That was instantly something that could take their minds off of anything. How gorgeous New York looked at night. He looked out at the city smiling. "I thought you might need a break." he said without looking at Kurt. 

"You thought right Aladdin." He smiled, still looking out the windows.  "Thanks for that.." He looked at Blaine. 

Blaine looked up at him "Anything to get to sing a disney song with my prince.."
