"Hey Kurtsie, how's Spanish?" Blaine texted Kurt as he waited outside in the Mckinley High parking lot by his car. He had planned an amazing night for him and his boyfriend.
Kurt felt his phone vibrate in the back pocket of his extremely tight jeans, he reached for it discretely hoping not to get caught by Mr.Shue. His face lit up when he saw the message was from Blaine. "Boring.As.Hell. How are you Hun?" he replied.
"I'm great. Hey, meet me out in the parking lot by my car after the bell. I'm bringing you out tonight :)" Blaine smiled as he clicked send, he was really excited.
Kurt felt his phone vibrate again. Kurt was always in a great mood when Blaine and he were going to spend time together. He loved seeing his boyfriend. Infact, he loved everything about Blaine. They hadn't been seeing each other as much as they were used to since Kurt transferred back to McKinley.
"Anywhere special?" answered Kurt.
"You'll have to wait. Can’t ruin the surprise. Now get back to your learning, see you in 15 minutes."
"Okay, I'll see you soon then!" Kurt put his phone away to see Rachel smiling at him. She had been reading the texts over his shoulder. He playfully elbowed her, and then switched his eyes onto the clock. Fifteen minutes had never felt so long. But finally, after what felt like forever, the bell rang. Kurt grabbed his bag and ran out the door. Nearly knocking over Artie on his way out. He rushed out to the parking lot and smiled at Blaine, who was leaning onto the passenger door of his car.
Blaine looked around to make sure nobody was watching as he pecked Kurt quickly on the cheek, then handed him a large bouquet of white roses.
Kurt gasped and took the roses. He hugged Blaine back before smelling them. "They're beautiful."
"Just like you" Blaine said with a big goofy smile on his face as he opened the door for Kurt.
Kurt gets in smiling. "Soo.. Tell me, where are we going?"
"It's a surprise" Blaine turned on the stereo as he pulled out of the parking lot.
Kurt bit his lip anxiously. "Can you give me a hint?"
"I wouldn't want to give it away."
Kurt sighed and pouted. "Fine."
The couple had spent the drive singing together along to a mix CD Kurt had made for Blaine and talking about the latest edition of vogue. After about a 45 minute drive. Blaine parked his car along the side of the road. "Were here!" He got out and opened the car door, then grabbed Kurt by the hand as he helped him out of the car.
Kurt looked around. All there seemed to be was trees. He raised an eyebrow. "Where exactly are we Blaine?"
"Just come on." Blaine playfully rolled his eyes then pulled him into a small forest trail. That had led to a small river where a canoe was floating along the side. He grabbed Kurt by the hips, helping him into the canoe.
Kurt climbed into the canoe looking up at Blaine. "Blaine? W...What is this?"
"Too many questions." Blaine giggled as he hopped into the canoe after Kurt. He rowed them down a calm river. "I love you Kurt,"
Kurt smiled widely. "I love you too." He looked around at the beautiful view.
"Okay, we're here!" Blaine helped Kurt out of the canoe and led him to a patch of grass, surrounded by trees where a red and blue blanket with a picnic basket had been laid out.
Kurt gasped looking up at Blaine. "Oh, Blaine. This is beautiful.
"Only for you babe." Blaine pulled Kurt into a deep kiss. He loved kissing Kurt like this, when he didn't need to worry about being whistled at, or even hit. It was just the two of them, alone.
Kurt immediately kissed back, wrapping his arms around Blaine's neck and smiling into the kiss.
"I..love..you...soo..much" said Blaine between kisses. "Now let's eat, I made your favorite!."
Kurt smiled as he sat down on the blanket. This is amazing, honestly Blaine."
Blaine blushed as he passed over a plate of fillet minion with a side of cesar salad, then poured some wine and passed it over to Kurt. Which he knew Kurt loved. “I know it’s a bit fancy for a picnic.” He was smiled to himself, this was the perfect moment.
Kurt took as sip of the wine and looked curiously. "So, what's the occasion?"
Blaine took a deep breath and placed his hand over Kurt's, just like he had done the day they shared their first kiss. I've always wanted to ask you this, since the first day I saw you. Even though we weren't together, I knew you were the one for me, the person who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with." A tear rolled down Blaine's cheek as he reached into his back pocket.
Kurt’s breath hitched in his throat and he put his hand over his mouth looking at what Blaine had to say.
Blaine pulled out a little box. Inside rested a gold ring, with a large diamond, accompanied by four smaller ones. Kurt stated bawling at the sight of it.
I’m crazy about you Kurt. I want to be with you, and love you for the rest of my life. Life is too short and I want to fulfill everything with you. When we have our first child, I will be right by your side and will look after our kids that we will have one day. I will also be there for when we have grandchildren as we become older. I am always happy when I’m with you. With the time we have been together, you have very much made my life worth living. Kurt, I love you so much and I want be with you forever.
Blaine took another deep breath. “Kurt Hummel, will you marry me?”
Kurt just sat there in shock; he couldn’t get any words out of him right now. He was so in love, he couldn’t believe he would be able to spend the rest of his life with Blaine. Blaine was his, he was Blaine’s.
Blaine sat there smiling with the ring still in his hand. “Soo?”
Kurt couldn’t get himself to say anything. All he could do was pull himself onto his boyfriend. His lips parted and suddenly came crashing down onto Blaine's, they made-out passionately for minutes, maybe hours. Who knows? Finally Blaine pulled away and gazed into Kurt's deep Blue eyes with his signature goofy-smile.
This is a yes, right? Kurt nodded until Blaine kissed him back as he placed the ring onto Kurt’s slim finger, Both boys spent the night lying together, watching the stars, exchanging sloppy kisses and "I love you's" This was perfect.
