Kurt comes home after a long day at classes. Fluffy drabble for Katie (struckbycolfer).
Kurt stumbled into his apartment, dropping one of his large sketch pads in the process. He cursed and kicked the door open wider, finally getting through the door without dropping anything else. He put his other supplies on his desk, just inside the tiny living room, and picked up the sketch pad he had dropped, throwing it down on the desk with an angry slap.
"Sounds like someone had a good day."
Blaine stood in the threshold of the kitchen, grinning at Kurt as he wiped his hands on a dish towel. Kurt flipped him off wordlessly, causing Blaine to throw his head back with laughter.
Kurt walked over to the couch, falling down into it without bothering to take his shoes off. Blaine followed him, leaning over and silently slipping off his boots (not the easiest feat ever). Kurt moaned as Blaine started to gently massage his soles.
"Why did I ever take this many classes in one semester?" sighed Kurt, a few minutes later. He had crawled over toward Blaine, pressing his head against Blaine's shoulder and snuggling closer to his boyfriend. "It's like suicide."
"Yes, yes it is," laughed Blaine. Kurt reached up and hit him halfheartedly, but since he was so tired, it had little force.
"You're a stupid education major," said Kurt, holding back a yawn. "While I'm over here trying to become a designer."
"Well next year I have to do my student teaching," said Blaine. "After a few days around all the high school students, I'm sure I'll regret my decision and you'll be the one comforting me. I might be eaten alive."
"If by eaten alive, you mean the object of every freshman girl's fantasies, then yes," said Kurt, kissing into Blaine's neck. Blaine laughed.
"I made dinner," said Blaine with a wan smile.
"I smelled," said Kurt, sighing again. "What is it?"
"Nothing much. Just lasagna."
"Vegetarian?" asked Kurt weakly.
"You know I know how you like it," said Blaine with a wink.
"That wasn't suggestive at all," purred Kurt, suddenly a bit more awake. He shifted, bringing his arms around Blaine's neck. Blaine leaned in, kissing his lips once.
"Now now," said Blaine lowly, near his ear. "We can't skip to dessert just yet."
"Mmmh." Kurt began to work down Blaine's neck. "But that's the best part."
Blaine brought his hands around Kurt's waist, pulling him closer, so Kurt was almost resting on top of him. "The lasagna can always be reheated," he lamented.
"Just what I like to hear," said Kurt as they fell further down on the couch.
