When I first saw your face
I wanted you then
But you didn't need a lover
You just needed a friend
By the time you'd recovered
I'd gone and moved on
But somewhere deep inside
My heart still sang your song
And when I heard your voice
On that lovely bright day
My heart made me remember
I just wasn't sure what to say
But finally alone us two
I know just what to do
My heart yerns for you
A love I know is true
