Kurt sat and looked through the yearbooks from his last two years of high school. In the morning he would be leaving for his 10 year high school reunion in Lima, Ohio.  Sure he had kept in touch with some of his former classmates.  Among them were his brother Finn, his New York mate Rachel and Mercedes. They had kept touch even though they were separated by a whole country.

                Kurt looked through the yearbook from his junior year. He had some good memories from that year. He teared up when his eyes fell upon the photo in the middle of the prom picture. It was of his and Blaine. He had just been elected Prom Queen as a joke and Blaine gave him the strength and he accepted his crown with a memorable speech ending with "Eat your heart out Kate Middleton."

                Looking through his senior year album brought even more memories. There were happy and not so happy memories, of him and Blaine.  The happier times, which he spent performing with New Directions.  He and Blaine had some troubles during that year.  There had been Sebastian and then Chandler. There were also happy times with Blaine. He remembered how he thought Blaine would be his forever. He then saw the photo from their win at Nationals. They were all so happy. Then there was his disappointment of not getting into NYADA.

                That is when things changed the most he realizes now.  He had come to New York anyhow at the insistence of Blaine. He and Rachel had gotten their loft apartment and him his intern at Vogue.com. Then they suffered through heartbreak. He and Blaine went their different ways. In Blaine's words, he was with someone. Kurt was devastated at first. Then he knew life moved on.    

                He looked around his home he lived in now with his husband and their 3 year old daughter.  They had been married 7 years. It has been an eventful 7 years. His career had taken off as an editor for Vogue.com as well as his own fashion line catering to the theater groups and the elite of society. He looked towards the stairs when he heard the laughter from upstairs. It was bath time for Elizabeth and he could only imagine what was going on to cause her to squeal like that.

Kurt set the yearbooks down and ascended the stairs.  He stood in the doorway of the bathroom stifling his laughter behind his hand. There sitting on the floor was his husband wearing a crown of bubbles and their daughter one of her own.

"I'm a princess." She exclaimed laughing. Kurt laughed with her. "What does that make Daddy then?" he asked. "Daddy is a prince" she answered. "Kurt looked at his husband smiling when he met with the shining amber eyes. "He has always been my prince."

Kurt leaned in and kissed his husband softly. "I have us all packed for the reunion. Mom and Dad are excited to see us and Elizabeth. "

His husband smiled "It will be nice seeing everyone again and going home for a visit." Kurt straightened up and held out a big fluffy towel wrapping Elizabeth in it when her Daddy lifted her out of the tub.  He smiled towel drying her hair happy with their decision that his husband would be her biological father.

"You know," he said looking at her "Your Daddy used to wear all kinds of gunk to hide his curls. But now he lets them loose and free and beautiful just like yours." Blaine smiled kissing Kurt's cheek as he cleaned up the tub area. "I always knew it was my curls that lured you in."
