"Where does this go?" Kurt asked, reaching into one of Blaine's large cardboard boxes vaguely labeled 'Important Stuff'.
"Uuuuum." Blaine started to reply, lifting his head from the current box he, himself was rummaging through. "'Important Stuff' goes in an important place...?" Kurt rolled his eyes and lifted the box from the floor, bringing it into their soon-to-be-shared bedroom and called out.
"Closet?"
"Closet." Blaine confirmed. He finished emptying the box of clothes, sorting them into piles: shirts, sweaters, pants, etc. He smiled to himself as he found the old bowtie Kurt had given him for Christmas back in High School. The one with little Christmas trees on it. He chewed at his bottom lip as he basked in the memories of their teenage years. Now at the lovely age of 23, those years seemed so long ago. He shrugged to himself before picking said bowtie up off the ground and pinning it to his shirt, smiling down at it and humming 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' contentedly. Kurt returned from their bedroom and stopped in the doorway of their living room to see Blaine enjoying himself way too much.
"Blaine. It's July." Kurt grinned from ear to ear. "Take that silly thing off."
"No." Blaine pouted, picking up all his clothes and moving to take them to their bedroom. "I'm reminiscing." He insisted, bumping his hips into Kurt's playfully as he passed him by. A certain item fell from Blaine's handful without him noticing as he continued to the bedroom. It had been hidden under a pile of sweaters and cardigans. Kurt noticed the dropped object and smiled as it registered in his mind. Margaret Thatcher Dog, in the flesh. Well, fur. It'd been so long since he'd seen Blaine cuddling with this particular stuffed animal. He could remember Blaine mentioning lonely nights his Senior year of High School where he'd snuggle up under a large blanket and tug the pup close to his chest, swearing that he could still smell Kurt's scent on it. Kurt picked Margaret up off the wooden floor and approached their room. He held the puppy up and smiled, leaning against the doorframe as Blaine unloaded his clothes into their burgundy dresser in the corner of the room.
"Next you're going to tell me that you somehow kept those roses I gave you back when you were Tony in Westside Story." Kurt joked, tossing Margaret Thatcher Dog in Blaine's direction, Blaine catching it and kissing it's nose.
"Are you really surprised that I kept these? I know you kept those monogrammed towels I gave you." Blaine smiled, gently placing the stuffed animal down on one of the lavender pillow's of their king-sized bed. Kurt chuckled.
"Well of course I did! They're the perfect set for our new bathroom, anyhow."
"Why do I have a feeling you did that on purpose?"
"Because I did." Blaine looked up at Kurt and grinned.
"Kurt."
"Blaine."
"We live together now." Blaine replied almost breathlessly.
"Yeah." Kurt beamed. "Yeah, we do." He crossed the room over to his boyfriend and crawled onto the bed in front of him on his hands and knees, leaning forward to kiss his nose quickly. Blaine took Kurt's face in his hands and kissed him, slow and sweet.
"And how long are we going to live together?" He whispered.
"For as long as you want." Kurt replied, glancing down at Blaine's lips, then back to his fluttering eyelashes.
"Forever?" Blaine wondered quietly.
"Forever."
