"I love you." Blaine whispered.

Three simple words. They're not long words. They're not complicated. They're not hard to pronounce. They're simple. Simple and beautiful, and simply beautiful. Simple words that hold so much meaning. So much passion, courage, dedication, truth. So much... So much love.

Kurt finished his sip of coffee, nearly spewing it everywhere as the words finished processing in his head. Blaine loves him. Really loves him. Truly loves him.

Kurt can see it in Blaine's eyes. Blaine doesn't just wear his heart on his sleeve. He wears it in his eyes, his smile, his actions, his everything.

From his little displays of affection, to the way he's so content with just watching Kurt. From holding Kurt's hand, to playing footsie under the tables at restaurants or coffee shops. From the passionately rough kisses, to the sweet and slow ones. From the way he's so ready to completely give himself to Kurt, to the way he's so ready to just wait for Kurt.

Blaine is the purest human being he's ever met. Kurt could sit all day and list the reasons why he's with this man, but he'd never finish. The reasons are endless because with each passing day he learns another thing or two about Blaine, another reason to stay. Another reason to want to spend the rest of his life in this man's arms.

Kurt blinked once, pulling himself away from his own thoughts.

Blaine Anderson, this perfect man that he's been rambling about to himself, just told him he loved him. And Kurt realizes he hasn't said it back yet. He placed his coffee cup on the table, inhaling a short breath and gazing into his boyfriend's eyes. Another moment of silence before Kurt's mouth is opening. It takes a second, but then his voice finds itself, and he says what he's been yearning to say from the moment he stopped this boy on the stairs of Dalton Academy.

"I love you too."
