A simple, short one-shot where Blaine kidnaps Kurt and takes him to a secluded area of the woods. Don't get too excited.
Author's Notes: It's just a short and boring thing I wrote when I was bored, so it's not too good. I never intended it to be, really.
Kurt continued to grip on to Blaine’s hand as tightly as possible, his vision blocked by Blaine’s bowtie that had somehow been tied around his head somewhere between the coffee shop and the end of the car journey. The edge of his lips never drooped but Kurt couldn’t stop the creeping feeling that he had managed to fall in love with a manic psychopath whose main aim was to kill him. Then he giggled a little as he realised what people meant when they said he was over-dramatic sometimes.
He was pulled away from his thoughts when he heard the crunch of footsteps on frozen leaves and realised they must be in a forest, or wood, of some kind. Blaine hadn’t said anything for a long time but Kurt could feel in the air that he was grinning, his plan obviously going well. He was just about to make some kind of remark about his silence, when the makeshift blindfold was untied gently from around his head. Kurt’s breath caught in his throat as he took in his surroundings.
Being from Lima, a place where there is not so much foliage around, Kurt hadn’t even noticed that, despite the cold, spring was just beginning. He could see it in the trees and bushes, and the way that the grass that twisted around their ankles and shins was a soft green. They were stood in the middle of a small meadow, secluded by trees and just blossoming with the brightness of a promising spring. The flowers were mostly still buds but a few were just beginning to bloom, and they left a beautiful array of colours spread haphazardly amongst the pasture.
The scene was simply breathtaking.
Kurt opened and closed his mouth trying to describe to him the beauty of this picture but couldn’t quite think of the words to say. Blaine laughed and the glorious sound filled the space, echoing off the trees that encircled the isolated scene. Kurt joined in, his tinkling giggles fitting together perfectly with Blaine’s deep laughter. The sound seemed to wake up the animals hidden in the forest and soon the trees around were alive with birdsong and rustling.
Meanwhile, Blaine had taken hold of Kurt’s hands and was softly rubbing the backs of them with his thumbs. Kurt couldn’t help but blush at this simple yet sensual gesture. His eyes had been downcast at the embarrassment of, for once in his life, being speechless. Blaine pushed up his chin slightly with his thumb and forefinger, and pressed his lips to Kurt’s.
Time seemed to slow down. The grass around them swayed slightly slower than would deem possible, the bird’s tweeting just a little drowsier than before. Kurt’s arms wrapped around Blaine’s neck and Blaine pulled Kurt closer to him, constricting his strong arms around his smooth, supple waist. Kurt stepped forward, an attempt to be pressed against Blaine as much as possible. It worked better than he could have hoped. He lost his footing and stumbled, all his weight was thrown against Blaine’s torso and they fell, still intertwined, into the fluffy spring grass.
End Notes: I hope you enjoyed! It would be amazing if you could review it and tell me what you think :3 Inspired by my friend Chloe asking me to describe mud.
