Author's Notes: Wrote this for somebody in class one day - because who cares about accounting when you have Klaine?

"Kurt! Kurt! Hey, Kurt!" Blaine whispered in his boyfriend's ear as their English teacher spun to jot notes on the board.

"What?" Kurt shot back, spinning irritably in his chair to face him. "Can't it wait until after class?"

"Absolutely not." Smiling dreamily, Blaine quickly slid a note into Kurt's hand. "Open it."

"Is there a problem over there, boys?" a voice called from across the classroom.

"None at all, sir," Kurt replied smoothly, turning back into place. Blaine watched him, a few moments later, unfold the note and gently smooth the creases down with a finger before reading:

I met a boy that I adored,
his name is Kurt.
If he were to break up with me,
my heart would be hurt.

Blaine could hear Kurt emit a sigh, but could see his cheeks lift as he smiled.

"Cute," he muttered under his breath, slipping the small piece of paper between the pages of his notebook, before returning his gaze to the board, hastily scrawling down the notes he'd missed.

Later that very day, Blaine was settling down onto his dorm bed to make a decent attempt at his Chemistry homework, when something invaded his peripheral vision.

Easing out of the bed, he approached the crisp, white sheet of paper that had been carefully slotted beneath the door a second ago.

Blaine picked it up and slowly read:

Blaine, my dearest,
to my soul, you are nearest.
I could never wound your heart,
for it would wound mine, too.
I just wanted to let you know
that I also adore you.

Sniffling just a little, Blaine wrenched the door open, immediately face-to-face with Kurt himself. They both smiled brightly and Blaine grabbed his boyfriend by the shoulders, yanking him into a bone-crushing embrace, fingers digging deep into the skin of Kurt's back.

Kurt leaned away from Blaine's arm, still smiling like he was the luckiest guy on Earth. Tentatively, he inclined his head toward Blaine's, fitting their lips together with a deep sigh of contentment.

Blaine's arms tightened around Kurt's neck and he couldn't help but try to deepen the kiss when he felt the pressure of Kurt's hands gripping his hips. His attempt, however, was shot down as Kurt broke them apart, breathing a little raggedy.

"I have to go..." Kurt murmured, a gorgeous pink blush colouring his porcelain skin. He gave Blaine's hips a small squeeze, and kissed his cheek, before turning away, the corners of his lips tugging upward in a pensive grin. "Ask me in five years if I still have that poem. I promise I won't disappoint."
