“Sophie!” Kurt screamed in terror.

“Papa!” Kurt heard his daughter yell. As the strange men took her away she started to wail and cry in horror. “Don't let them take me!”

“I wont! I'll get you back! I promise!” Kurt cried as he fell to his knees and rested his head in his hands.

“Kurt! Wake up!” Blaine yelled at his partner as he kicked and screamed.

As Kurt came to he frantically looked around the room searching for something.

“Blaine! They took her away! They took Sophie away!” He cried furiously.

“Kurt, calm down. Who is Sophie?”

Kurt looked at Blaine questionably, almost heartbroken.

“Our daughter! Who else would it be!” Kurt screamed in Blaine's face.

“Kurt!” Against his will Kurt stopped kicking and screaming. He looked into Blaine's eyes, waiting for him to continue on.

“Kurt. We don't have a daughter.” Blaine explained.

Realization suddenly struck the porcelain boy's face. “Oh. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up.” He swallowed, his throat dry. “I guess it was just a dream.”

“You dream about us having a daughter?” Blaine asked curiously.

Kurt looked down. “Sometimes...sometimes it's a boy.”

“Well if the girl's name is Sophie, what's the boy's name?” Blaine asked with a smile.

“Blaine, I don't want to talk about this–,”

“Come on! I want to know! Please! For me at least. I did have to put up with this night terror of yours. I should at least know our future child's name.” He looked at Kurt as if he was the only thing in the world. Which for Blaine, he was.

Kurt looked back up to Blaine and said cautiously, “Jack.”

“Hm, Jack.” Blaine thought the name over. “I like it.”

The couple smiled at each other until they fell back asleep, dreams filled with joy.
