Kurt closed the door behind him slowly and quietly, hoping he would get out of this.

"Dad, I-" Kurt was interrupted.

"This better be a good one, Kurt. This is the 3rd time you leave home and we don't know where you are! Why? Why are you doing this? You're better than this, son!" yelled Burt.

Kurt looked down at the ground and waited a couple of seconds before he could think of the words to say.

"I was out looking for Blaine." Kurt didn't want to say the rest, so he lied.

"Then, when I found Blaine, we talked for a bit."

Burt studied Kurt's face. "And then?"

Kurt shrugged. "I felt sick, so Blaine took me to his house and I fell asleep for awhile. Now im here, regretting that choice."

Burt sighed. "Kurt... I hope you're not lying to me and you Blaine ended up doing something else..."

Kurt looked confused. The, Burt gestured his eyebrows up and Kurt got it.

"NO! He would never, I mean we would never do that. Not now or whatever or I don't know. But thats not what happened!" Kurt was embarrassed. One being the reason that he wished something like that happened, but it would be too good to be true.

"Okay, Okay. I trust you, Kurt. I always have. But I dont want this happening anymore, understand?"

"Yes, I understand." Said Kurt.

Burt patted Kurt on the back and told him goodnight. Kurt said goodnight back and walked upstairs to get ready for bed.

As Kurt plugged in his phone, a message popped up. It was Grant. The message asked if Grant could call Kurt. Kurt smiled and replied with yes and waited for the call.

His phone rang, of course he waited 10 seconds before answering it.

Kurt answered. "Hey, Grant. Whats up?"

Grant laughed. "Kurt! Hi. I wanted to ask you something..."

"W-What is it?" Hesitated Kurt.

"I know its 2 am, and you're probably tired of me already, but do you want to go out tonight?" Kurt could hear the smile in Grant's voice.

Kurt pondered on the thought and ended up giving in.

"Actually, yes. That sounds great. Pick me up?" Said Kurt.

"Really? Wow, okay! Im on my way." Grant exclaimed.

Laughing, Kurt asked, "Wait, where are we going?"

"Mmmmmm, its a surprise. But shhh, im on my way." Grant said.

"Hm okay. I'll text you my address." Kurt's heart was racing.

"Sure thing, see you later!" Said Grant.

Kurt hung up and went to fix his hair.
