"Hey faggot, what the fuck are you wearing? Is that what you call style?"
"Haha what a queer. How bout a good ol' toss in the dumpster, Hummel?"
Kurt looked away from the three boys who were about to attack him.
"Please... Just leave me alone. Please!" Kurt said, crying.
"Oh, quit whining you fairy!" One of the boys grabbed Kurt and threw him into the locker.
The boys laughed as they picked him up and took him outside.
Kurt whimpered, hoping they wouldn't do too much damage to him today.
"Fuck you, faggot. Rot in hell." One of the boys said as he was about to throw Kurt in the dumpster.
Suddenly, a voice came from far away. It was Blaine.
"Get your hands of him you bastards! NOW." Blaine yelled as he threw a punch to one of the boys faces.
The boys ran off and threw Kurt on the ground, leaving him with multiple bruises and scratches on his face.
Blaine sat on the ground to comfort Kurt. Blaine ran his hands through Kurt's hair and lightly kissed his forehead.
"You'll be alright, Kurt. I'll get you home. Don't worry about those dumb fucks." Blaine said as he carried Kurt to his car.
Kurt woke up. He must have fallen asleep.
"What the hell?" Kurt said to himself as he slowly got up. The dream was familiar to Kurt. That was the day when Blaine transferred to McKinley and Kurt was still being bullied. Kurofsky endlessly bullied Kurt until one day, Kurofsky got kicked out of school. The bastard deserved it.
Kurt remembered how Blaine had brought him home and had a long talk with Burt about what had happened to Kurt. That day was the first time Kurt realized Blaine really cared for him and how much Blaine loved him. Kurt lied in his bed, remembering how comforting Blaine was to Kurt that night. Blaine took care of him, and Burt even let him stay over night just to look after Kurt. But, why did Kurt dream of that night? Kurt hasn't seen Kurofsky in forever. He's been out of school for a year. It was weird, it was like a sign. A sign that Kurt can't just forget about Blaine, that's insane. He's in love with the guy. He has never felt this way about anyone.
Kurt then slowly frowned as he looked at the picture of him and Blaine on his phone. He then realized Blaine was right, they could never be together. They're too good of friends. But they were still perfect for each other. Practically soulmates. Kurt knows that he would never hurt Blaine, and Blaine would never hurt Kurt. But for some reason, Blaine was afraid. And it wasn't fair.
Kurt hasn't talked to Blaine for 3 days, he figured it was for the best. They both needed to sort things out for themselves. Kurt got up from his bed and walked downstairs. He saw Burt watching TV and Finn making a sandwich.
"Hey Finn, do you mind making me one? Im starving." Kurt said as he scratched his head and sat on the couch.
"Sure thing bro." Finn said, taking out two more pieces of bread.
As Finn prepared Kurt's sandwich, Kurt noticed at the corner of his eye that his father was staring at him. Kurt sighed and looked at Burt, knowing his father had something to say.
"I haven't seen you in forever, Kurt. What have you been doing hiding in your room these past three days?" Burt said, turning down the volume to the TV.
Kurt layed back on the couch and sighed.
"Nothing, dad. Just... Thinking and... trying to be so over dramatic about things." Kurt said, looking at Finn.
Finn laughed at Kurt. Burt looked at Finn and questioned his laughter.
"What's so funny, Finn?" Burt said, sitting up in his chair.
Finn giggled once more, "Kurt is a pretty big drama queen, Burt. It's just funny that he finally admits it."
Kurt laughed and threw his pillow at Finn, and ended up hitting the fridge instead.
Finn laughed and walked to Kurt and handed him his sandwich.
Kurt took a bite as Burt continued to talk to Kurt.
"Listen son, I love you. And if you're having problems, I really want you to let me know." Burt said.
"I know, dad. Im aware that if I have problems that I can come to you. But im fine! Nothing is wrong, things will get better." Kurt said, smiling. For once, Kurt actually believed himself. Maybe he could get over Blaine and everything will be better. But he also wanted to be Blaine. So badly. But Kurt had to get over that.
"Okay, kid." Burt said.
As Burt looked back to the TV, there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!" Finn said, rushing to the door.
Finn stopped and gasped once he saw who was at the door.
"Who is it?" Burt asked, turning down the volume once more.
Finn hesitated. "Its... It's Blaine." Finn said, as Blaine walked in.
Kurt's heart stopped to his name. Kurt got up, and slowly walked to the door.
Kurt saw Blaine, he had the perfect puppy dog face going on. Blaine's eyes met Kurt's. Kurt was lost for his words.
