Kurt had woke up once again, but this time it was morning. Kurt got up and stretched as he yawned and looked over to his side. Blaine was gone. Kurt began to feel a little empty, he was actually really attached to Blaine. Kurt got up and went down stairs to find that his family was gone too. Kurt didn't know where they went, but he didn't care. He figured this would be a good time to talk to one of his best friends and talk about what he is feeling for Blaine.

Kurt went to get his phone and dialed the number. He put the phone to his ear and waited for an answer.

"Hey Kurt! What's going on?" Mercedes said.

Kurt smiled. "Hey babe! I was wondering if you would like to come over today?

Mercedes laughed. "Yes of course! Im on my way! Mercedes said as she hung up the phone.

Kurt laughed and went upstairs to his room. He picked up a little bit and fixed the bed, and also fixed his hair. A knock came from the door. Kurt ran down stairs and rushed to the door and opened it.

Mercedes let out an enthusiastic scream. "Kurt!" she yelled as she hugged him.

Kurt hugged her tight. "Hey! I missed you!" Kurt said as he let go of her.

Mercedes laughed. "I missed you too, Hummel! So what's going on?" Mercedes said as she put her hand on her hip.

"What? N-Nothing! What makes you think somethings going on?" Kurt stuttered.

Mercedes shook her head. "Girl, you're obviously lying! Why else would you bring me here?" She said.

Kurt gave in. "You're right. Mercedes, Im falling for Blaine." Kurt said as he looked to the ground.

Mercedes gasped. "What? He's your best friend, Kurt! You could ruin your friendship with him if you try to take things further!" Mercedes said looking into Kurt's eyes.

Kurt walked away and sat on the couch. Mercedes followed him.

"Kurt..." Mercedes put her arm around Kurt and brought him closer to her.

"Maybe Blaine likes you too." Mercedes said.

Kurt shook his head. "That's the thing, I don't think I just like him." Kurt said.

Mercedes looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Kurt hesitated. "I think, I don't know, I may be in love with him." Kurt said looking at his hands.

Mercedes sighed. She felt bad for Kurt. Kurt shouldn't have to deal with this pain he has.

"Have you guys talked?" Mercedes said.

"Y-Yeah, he slept over last night, and we went to the park a couple day ago." Kurt said smiling remembering Blaine's sweet face last night.

"What! He slept over? What happened?!" Mercedes said leaning into Kurt.

Kurt laughed. "It was nothing like what you think. I was just feeling a little under the weather yesterday and Blaine came over to keep me company." Kurt said smiling.

Mercedes let out a cheesy smile. "Kurt! He's a total keeper! Why aren't you two together?!" Mercedes yelled.

Kurt's smile turned into a frown. He began to feel more empty than he did before.

"Like you said, im not sure if he could ever feel the same way about me like I feel about him. He's everything to me, and I don't think he really understands that. Just a couple of days ago he started talking about this guy he met and how he thinks he's starting to like him. Do you know how much that hurts? When you're in love with someone and he likes someone else who isn't you?" Kurt turned away from Mercedes trying not to cry.

Mercedes began to feel bad. She hugged Kurt and tried to make him feel better.

"Im sorry you feel this way, Kurt. You should really talk to Blaine about this." Mercedes said.

Kurt shook his head, "I can't. Not yet at least. I need to figure out where we stand first." Kurt said.

"You're right, but not too long though. You don't want him leaving you for another man!" Mercedes said as she snapped her finger.

Kurt laughed and hugged her once more. Mercedes got up from the couch and walked to the door.

"It was nice seeing you, Kurt. We should have one of our famous sleepovers with Rachel soon." She said smiling.

Kurt laughed. "Can't wait!"

Mercedes laughed as she walked out. Kurt waved goodbye to her and he closed the door.
