Author's Notes: Here's another short chapter :)Kurt just might break through Blaine's well built walls.Enjoy :D

Only two weeks had passed since Blaine had been forced to joing the New Directions and although he'd never admit it, he was enjoying himself. It may have had something to do with being in the same room as Kurt, but he'd never admit that either. He sill acted like a badass, he was still a jerk to everyone, but sometimes he found himself letting his walls down just a but during those hour long rehearsals. If he closed his eyes he could almost pretend he was back at Dalton, prepping for the newest Warbler number. Almost.

"Are you planning on spending the night here or what?" Kurt bit back a laugh when Blaine jumped, not expecting anyone to still be here, rehearsals ended an hour ago.

"What is it to you Hummel?" Blaine quickly regained his composure.

Kurt frowned slightly, what if Blaine really was planning on staying here? "Uh, I just thought maybe you'd had car trouble or something."

"Whatever. Wait, why are you still here? Rehearsals ended an hour ago." Blaine tried to act as if he didn't really want to know.

"I know, but football practice is still going on, so I decided to wait until it's over and they all left. I'd rather not deal with Karofsky tonight."

Blaine felt anger course through his veins. He hated Karofsky, and knowing that he was maing Kurt feel scared enough to wait until football practice was over to leave, made him hate Karofsky even more.

"I guess I'll leave you alone. I know how you like your solitude." Kurt turned to leave.

"Wait. Y-you can stay if you want. Truthfully, I'm just hanging here until I know my parents have left for their business trip. I'd rather not deal with them tonight." Blaine said bitterly, not even upset with himself for that bit of personal information with Kurt.

"Are you sure? I don't want to bother you or anything." Kurt hid his excitement as best he could. He would love nothing more than to spend time with Blaine.

"Yeah, I'm sure." Blaine let himself give Kurt a genuine smile. It was just the two of them, he could let his guard down just a little.

"So uh, how are you liking Glee Club so far?" Kurt asked, trying to make conversation.

"It's alright I guess. It's different from the one at my old school, Dalton Academt." Blaine sighed and leaned back in his chair as Kurt sat in the one beside him.

"The Warblers?" Kurt was now trying to picture Blaine in a Dalton blazer.

"Yep. We were like rockstars, everyone wanted to be a Warbler." Blaine smiled at the memories of his day as a Warbler. He would give anything to go back.

"Wait a minute, you were a Warbler? You, Blaine Anderson, actually were in show choir for fun?" Kurt stared at Blaine in shock.

"Yes Hummel, why does that surprise you so much?" Blaine snapped.

"Honestly, you just don't seem like the show choir type." Kurt could tell he'd hit a nerve.

"I was a different person then. Dalton was my safe place, no one could hurt me there so I could just be myself. I had friends there, best friends."

"What happened, I mean, why'd you move here?" Kurt knew he was probably pushing too much, but he wanted, needed to know more about Blaine.

Blaine gave Kurt a slightly pained expression, like he was trying to decide if it was safe to tell Kurt about his past.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that. You don't have to answer." Kurt started to get up to walk away when Blaine reached out and grabbed his hand.

"My parents decided they were tired of paying for their faggot son's expensive schooling. They thought I needed to be toughened up, sos they pulled me from Dalton and enrolled me in this awful place." Blaine hadn't let go of Kurt's hand. He felt the way Kurt's grip tightened when he said faggot.

"Oh my- your parents- Blaine." Kurt felt like he'd just been punched in the stomach.

"Yeah well, it's whatever." Blaine felt his walls go up at the sound of pity in Kurt's voice, he didn't want anyone to pity him.

"How can you just brush that off? They're your parents, they're suppose to accept you, love you." It broke Kurt's heart to see Blaine act like he didn't care about this.

"Yeah, but they don't and I don't have time to spend worrying over it. I can't change their minds."

"You deserve better than that Blaine." Kurt said softly.

Blaine just rolled his eyes. Why did Kurt have to care so freaking much?

"Football practice should be over, but if you want me to stay-"

"No, go home. I'll be fine."

"Blaine, please look at me." Kurt's voice was so full of emotion that Blaine couldn't help but look. "I know you're angry and upset, but you really shouldn't close yourself off. Believe it or not, there are people out there who care about you."

"Really, cause I haven't met any." Blaine said sarcasticly.

"Yes you have, because one of them is sitting right in front of you." Kurt smiled and patted Blaine's knee.

"Why?" Blaine asked, trying not to let the emotion show through.

"Because, I can see that underneath this bad boy image, you're just a boy that wants to be loved and your scared that you never will be because your whole life you've been told you never would. They tossed you around and told you that you're worthless. Let me tell you a secret, they're wrong Blaine, and I'm going to find a away to prove it to you."

Blaine didn't know what to say. He'd never met anyone who just understood him the way Kurt does. "Kurt I-"

"Shh, don't argue. Tomorrow after Glee rehearsal you and I are going to the Lima Bean."

"Why?" Blaine asked curiously.

"Because we can, and I want to hang out with you. No arguments, I'll see you tomorrow Blaine." Kurt smiled before getting up and walking out of the room, leaving Blaine shocked and even a little excited for tomorrow.

End Notes: Well, there's chapter 2 :) Hope you liked it. We're getting to see Blaine's vulnerable side before we really see the bad boy, but trust me, that's on it's way soon. There is more of this, open Blaine before we get to where he closes himself off.Let me know what you think :D-Krystal :) x

I really enjoyed this chapter and getting to see Blaine open up was awesome. I also love that Kurt refused to give up and that he made it clear that he was going to prove to Blaine that he was special and cared for.

Kurt isn't one to give up without a fight, especially when it comes to Blaine. :)-Krystal :) x
