It is a week before the wedding and the boys' family and friends were starting to arrive.
The first people to arrive were Carole, Burt, Finn, James, and Andrea who all flew in together. Kurt and Blaine were meeting them at the hotel since Andrea and James knew how to get to the hotel from the airport.
"I wish they would hurry up, I have class in an hour and a half." Kurt was pacing around the hotel lobby.
"If you need to leave, go ahead. I'll stay and wait for them." Blaine was holding back a smile, Kurt was always so impatient.
"If I don't stay, I'll never hear the end of it from my Dad." Kurt sighed as he sat down beside Blaine.
"Doesn't look like you're going to have to wait much longer cause there they are." Blaine pointed to where their families were walking into the lobby.
"It's about time." Kurt mumbled under his breath before putting on a smile to greet his family.
"We would've been here sooner but your father was having problems with his luggage." Andrea explained when Blaine and Kurt walked up.
"It's fine mom, you're here now." Blaine said, giving everyone quick hugs.
"Let's all go get checked into our rooms and get our bags out of the way." James headed towards the elevator to head up to the second floor where their rooms were.
"So Finn, you'll be rooming with Cooper when he gets here, which won't be until Thursday." Kurt explained as they walked.
"Cool. Cooper's a nice dude."
"Wait until you have to share a room with him." Blaine warned.
When they reached their rooms, Kurt explained that he had to go to class but he'd be back later and he'd bring Rachel, Adam, and Lucy.
Blaine walked him back to the elevator and gave him a quick kiss goodbye before running back to help his parents get their luggage into their rooms.
Tuesday brought in the New Directions: Santana, ina, Mercedes, Quinn, Mike, Sam, Puck, and Artie.
Kurt, Blaine, Rachel, and Finn met them at the airport.
"Kurt!" Mercedes yelled as soon as she saw him.
"Hey 'Cedes, I've missed you." Kurt smiled brightly as he hugged her.
"Hey guys, thankks for coming, we're so glad to have all of you here for this." Blaine addressed the crowd of their friends.
"There's no way we'd miss this dude. We've been waiting since high school for this." Puck fist bumped Blaine and gave Kurt an awkward one armed hug.
"Well, let's get them to the hotel so they can get settled in. I'm sure they're tired from the flight." Rachel was trying to usher everyone towards the exit, and with Finn's help, they were on their way.
Wednesday brought Mr. Shue, Miss Pillsbury, Coach Beiste, and Sue. The boys had debated on inviting Sue to the wedding, but in the end they had sent her an invitation. They were slightly surprised when she called to let them know she woul in face be attending, and kind of frightened when she handed them a gift once they'd gotten to the hotel.
"What do you think it is?" Kurt asked when he and Blaine were back at the condo that evening.
"Dunno, I'm kind of scared to open it."
"What if it explodes? What if it's a box full of glitter that's going to explode when we open it? That sounds like something she would do."
"It's possible, but at least we know it can't be too bad, it did make it through airport security." Blaine noted, looking at the bright side of things.
"Blaine, do you know how hard it would be to get a bunch of glitter cleaned up? I don't want to have to worry about that."
"We don't even know if it is glitter Kurt."
"Fine. Let's open it." Kurt untied the ribbon on the perfectly square box, pulled back the lid an gasped. Inside was a beautiful silver music box with music notes engraved all around the sides.
"Oh my God, it's beautiful." Blaine whispered in awe, taking the box from Kurt.
"I know. I wonder why-"
"Don't question it Kurt, just accept it and be glad it wasn't the glitter."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Kurt sighed. "Hey Blaine."
"Yes Kurt?"
"We're getting married in three days."
Blaine smiled. "We're getting married in three days."
Thursday brought Cooper to New York, and in typical Cooper fashion, he was late.
"I'm so sorry I'm late. I had a last minute audition that I just couldn't miss! It was for this really big movie that's still in the works, so obviously I can't say anything about it, but yeah."
"How do you think you did?" Blaine asked, knowing he'd regret it.
"I think it went pretty well. The director said I had promise." Cooper beamed, slinging his arm over Blaine's shoulder. "So how've you been little brother?"
"Good, just going to school and preparing for the wedding."
"Speaking of the wedding,, do I get to give a best man speech? Because I have some great stories-"
"Cooper!" Andrea gave him a stern look.
Cooper leaned over to Kurt and stage whispered, "I already have a speech worked up, I'll run it by you later, it's about this one time when Blaine was little. It's pretty great."
"Cooper Jay Anderson! This is your brother's wedding, it's his time, stop acting so immature and trying to embarrass him. That's not what we're here for. Do you understand me?" Andrea was not joking around, she knew how Cooper could be when it came to Blaine.
"Yes ma'am." Cooper turned to Blaine. "I'm sorry Blainey."
"It's okay Coop." Blaine gave his brother a smile. He knows Cooper means well, it just doesn't always seem like it.
Friday, the day before the wedding, the Warblers arrive. Blaine goes by himself to the airport to pick them up because Kurt took the New Directions on a tour of the city, Cooper and their parents were going out for lunch, and Carole had dragged Burt off early that morning to go shopping.
"Blaine, my man, how are you?" David asked as he pulled Blaine into a bone crushing hug.
"I'm good. How are you guys?"
"We're great! Ready to get our wedding groove on!"
"We can't wait to hear the set list you guys planned." Blaine was leading them outside to where the hotel shuttle buss was waiting.
"It's going to be epic!" Jeff shouted from the back of the crowd.
"Should we be worried?" Blaine turned to Wes, not really sure what to expect.
"No, there's no need to worry. Everyone is going to be respectful, I promise." Wes assured him.
"Okay, I'm trusting you Wes, don't let me down."
"I won't Blaine. I know that this is a big day for you and Kurt."
Blaine went with them to the hotel because he was meeting up with Kurt there. They had decided not to have bachelor parties, they just wanted o spend the night before their wedding together, in their home.
"So, tomorrow." Blaine said, laying in bed beside Kurt.
"Tomorrow. Are you nervous?" Kurt turned over onto his side so he could see Blaine.
"A little. Mostly just that I'm going to forget something, or mess up my vows."
"Blaine, honey, don't. You're not going to forget anything, I'll be there with you, so will all of our friends and family. And don't worry about your vows, they're your vows, you can't mess them up."
"I just want his to be perfect." Blaine rolled over to face Kurt.
"It will be. We're getting married, that's all that matters." Kurt smiled, bringing his hand up to cup Blaine's cheek.
"God Kurt, I love you so much." Blaine didn't know why he was getting so emotional.
"I love you too sweetie. Don't worry about tomorrow, no matter what happens, at the end of the day, you and I will be husbands and that's what matters. Okay?"
"Okay." Blaine gave Kurt a watery smile.
"We should get some sleep. We don't want to be tired on our big day."
"Goodnight Kurt."
"Goodnight Blaine."
They fell asleep quickly, Kurt holding Blaine. Both excited and a little nervous for what tomorrow would bring.
