They pulled into the bowling alley parking lot about a half an hour after leaving Dalton. Kurt remembered the last time he'd went bowling with the Warblers, back when he was still at Dalton, before he and Blaine started dating.
"So Hummel, are you ready for our rematch? You didn't think I'd forget did you?" David asked as the group of boys made their way inside.
"Of course I'm ready David, I'm going to kick your ass just like last time." Kurt winked as he pulled Blaine to the counter to get shoes while David went over to rent the lanes.
"You know, last time we were here we weren't even dating." Blaine said.
"Nope, and now we're engaged, it's amazing." Kurt smiled brightly.
"Yeah, it really is."
"Hummel, Anderson! Get your fabulous asses over here or we're going to start without you!" Wes called across the room.
"Don't you fucking dare Wesley!" Kurt threatened, running over to the rest of the group.
"Okay, so we got two lanes. For anyone who doesn't remember, or in Sebastian's case, wasn't here for our last bowling party, here are the rules: First, no cheating of any kind. If you are caught cheating, you're game will be over. Second, the winner from both lanes will face off for the title of Warbler Bowling Champion. Our current champion is Warbler Kurt. Lastly, have fun! Let's break up into two teams and get started!" Wes announced.
Everyone split up into two teams, Kurt and David were appointed team captians. Kurt's team consisted of Blaine, Nick, Jon, Jeff, Sebastian, Flint, Cameron, and Nicholas. David's team consisted of Thad, Trent, Wes, Ethan, Luke, Jesse, Andrew, and James.
Once everyone's names were entered into the computer, David turned to Kurt. "Just because you're newly engaged and happy, doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you."
"Good, because I was just about to say that even though you helped me out today, doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you. I'm in this to win David."
"So am I, Kurt."
"Alright then, let's get started, shall we?" Kurt extended his hand to David.
"Of course, and may the best team win." David shook Kurt's hand then turned to his team to start the game.
"They take their bowling pretty seriously don't they?" Sebastian asked Blaine.
"You have no idea, this is just getting started. We say 'teams', but it's really not. They play against the rest of us just as hard as they play against each other. They are pretty ruthless when it comes to stuff like this."
Blaine had been right, Kurt and David didn't go easy on their teammates. It was down to the final fout, Kurt and Jeff, David and Wes.
"What's going to happen if Jeff or Wes beats one or both of them?" Sebastian turned to Trent.
"We'll probably see the start of the apocolypse. I've never seen people take bowling so seriously."
"Kurt still has the trophy from last time. It's sitting on our shelf with all our other trophies. He's actually quite proud of it." Blaine said, sitting down beside Sebastian after Kurt had told him to go away and not be so distracting.
"I will honestly never understand some of the weird things this group does." Sebastian shook his head and laughed.
"It's tradition, we're all about tradition." Wes explained, falling into the chair beside Blaine.
"So David made it to the final two. Couldn't beat him Wes, he's just too good isn't he?" Nick joked.
"Shut up Wabler Nick." Wes said with a pout.
"Aww, Wessy-Poo is pouting because he lost." Thad made a pouty face at Wes.
"Would you guys shut up? I'm trying to concentrate over here." Kurt gave them all looks that made them shut up instantly.
"How do you live with him man?" Jeff asked Blaine as he took a seat in the floor.
"I'm use to it, and I have ways of dealing with him when he gets into a diva mode."
"I'm sure you do Blaine. Do any of these ways you speak of involve removing clothing and getting sweaty?" Sebastian winked suggestively, earning a laugh from the rest of the group.
"Not everything is about sex Sebastian, but either way, I'm not revealing my secrets."
"You'd better hope Kurt either wins this or your ways are error free. I can't imagine spending the rest of the day with him if he doesn't win." Trent said, soundin slightly worried.
"He'll be fine. We're going to stop by to see Burt and Carole before we go to my parents' place for the night, he won't want to be in a bad mood when he sees his dad."
"Changing the subject for a minute, Kurt said you guys are getting married in November. How much planning do you have left?" Thad questioned.
"A good bit, but everything is coming along very nicely. It's going to be perfect."
Wes was just about to say something when Kurt started yelling. "I did it! I won!"
"Looks like we have a winner." Jeff laughed as they all stood up.
"Two consecutive wins for Warbler Kurt. Congratulations." Wes smiled.
"Next time Hummel. I'll beat you next time."
"Don't hold your breath David." Kurt laughed, walking up to Blaine. "I won Blaine, I beat David, again."
"I know, good job, I knew you could do it." Blaine beamed, wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist.
"Do I get a kiss to celebrate or no?" Kurt flirted, bringing his arms up around Blaine's neck.
"Hmm, let me see, I guess that would be okay." Blaine teased and leaned in to place a sweet, loving kiss to Kurt's lips.
"Get a room you two! Jesus, some things never change." Nick called, pulling Kurt and Blaine back to reality.
"Shut up Nick, no one asked you to butt in." Kurt mumbled, kissing Blaine again just to make a point.
They all moved to gather up their belongings and handed in their shoes before leaving the bowling alley.
"It was good to see you guys again, don't forget to come and visit every once in a while okay?" David pulled Blaine and Kurt in for a hug.
Blaine just laughed and hugged back. "Don't worry, you won't get rid of us any time soon. We'll be back to visit."
"Yeah, I'll have to come back so I can kick your ass at bowling again." Kurt joked.
"Don't bet on it Hummel, I'm going to practice. I'll be ready next time."
"You guys are going back to New York tomorrow right?" Sebastian asked.
"Yeah, we have wedding planning and our summer jobs, can't stay away too long." Kurt frowned. He really missed just hanging with the Warblers like this.
"We're still working on songs for the wedding, you're going to love the set." Jeff piped in.
"I'm sure we will, we can't wait to hear what you guys have planned." Blaine was smiling like he'd just won a prize. He loved hanging out with his friends like this. He loves New York and all of his friends there, but these guys would always be his best friends.
"We'd better be going Blaine, Dad and Carole will be waiting." Kurt took Blaine's hand, pulling him towards their car.
"Bye guys, see you soon!"
"Bye!"
"That was fun." Kurt spoke up once they were on the road to Lima.
"Yeah it was, it was great."
They drove the rest of the way to the Hummel-Hudson house singing along to the radio and laughing at each other messing up the songs. Everything was perfect.
