Author's Notes: Chapter End Notes: Okay, so that wasn't one of my best chapters, but I hope it was at least readable. I honestly don't know when I'll be updating again. Next week is finals week for me and I will be crazy busy with that, but I promise I'll be back to my normal schedule as soon as I finish with all that. -Krystal :) x

It was two days after Blaine had went to see him mom when Kurt was free to meet her. Mr. Shue had cancelled glee practice that evening and Burt and Carole had planned a night out, so he called Blaine as soon as he got home from school.

"Hey Kurt, how's glee rehearsal going?" Blaine was at his parents' home when Kurt called.

"Mr. Shue cancelled it actually, and I have the evening free so I thought I could come over and meet your mom, if that's okay?"

"What about your dad and Carole? Won't they-"

"They're having a night out so Finn's having an xbox tournament and I'm itching to get out of here."

"Ahh, well we'd love to have you. Mom's making her famous pasta salad and homemade breadstick and I know you'll love it."

"Sounds delicious. I'm leaving now, so I'll be there soon."

"Okay, drive safe. Love you."

"I will and I love you too Blaine." Kurt hung up and went to tell Finn where he was going.

"Mom, hey, Kurt's coming over to meet you so makes some extra pasta." Blaine walked into the kitchen where his mom was preparing bread dough.

"Oh, that's great honey! Can you open the oven door for me please?"

"Sure. You know, it's been a long time since I've helped you cook." Blaine rolled up his sleeves and walked over to open the oven door.

"Yes it has, I could use an extra set of hands if you're willing." Andrea smiled at her son. Some things never change, no matter how old they get.

"I'd love to mom, just let me grab an apron, I don't want to ruin this shirt."

They were still working on dinner when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Blaine grabbed a towel to wipe his hands on and headed to the door.

"Hey Bla- oh uh, wow." Kurt took in Blaine's appearance, blue apron, flour all over his hands, face, and even a little in his hair which was free from gel.

"Hey! Come in." Blaine beamed at Kurt and took his hand to lead him to tthe kitchen.

"Am I too early?"

"No, not at all. I was just helping my mom fix dinner, we may have gotten into a bit of a flour fight." Blaine laughed.

Kurt noticed how carefree Blaine seemed to be here. He wondered if this was how Blaine was as a teenager. "I can see that, you have some in your hair."

Blaine stopped right outside of the kitchen door and turned to Kurt. "Are you nervous? You shouldn't be, she's going to love you, I promise."

"I-I- no I'm just- I'm not as nervous about meeting her as her seeing me as some dumb kid."

"She won't, don't worry. I love you Kurt, and she will too." Blaine squeezed Kurt's hand.

"I love you too."

Blaine smiled and pushed open the door to the kitchen. "Mom, I want you to meet my boyfriend, Kurt."

"It's so nice to meet you! Blaine just won't shut up about you." Andrea walked up to them with a smile.

"I-I- it's nice to meet you too Mrs. Anderson." Kurt extended his hand.

"Please, call me Andrea. Mrs. Anderson reminds me of being at work, and I will not accept a handshake, you're my son's boyfriend, I want a hug." Andrea smiled widely and pulled Kurt in for a hug.

"Is the bread done yet?" Blaine asked, moving over to the oven.

"Oh uh, yeah, it should be. If you can get it out, I'll mix up the pasta."

"Okay. Hey Kurt, can you get in that first cabinet there and get a plate for this bread?" Blaine nodded to the cabinet as he sat the pan of bread on the counter.

"Yeah, sure."

"Mom makes the best bread. It's perfect."

"Don't let him fool you Kurt, he's a pretty good cook as well." Andrea laughed as she watched the boys interact.

"I learned from the best."

"Oh stop it Blaine. Why don't you and Kurt go set the table while I go wash up?"

"Sure, I think we can handle that."

Once Andrea was out of the kitchen, Kurt spoke up again. "You mom is really nice."

"Yeah, she's amazing. She likes you just so you know."

"Really?"

"Yes really. Come on, bring those plates, I'm starving."

They had almost made it completely through dinner before Andrea started asking questions. "So Kurt, Blaine tells me you're a senior. Any plans for college?"

"Mom!"

"It's fine Blaine." Kurt put his hand over Blaine's before turning to Andrea. "I applied to NYADA, NYU, and OSU."

"NYADA? Blaine applied there when he was a senior, but took the teaching route instead."

"He's an amazing teacher, and I'm not just saying that because he's my boyfriend. The entire school loved him."

"Kurt." Blaine gripped Kurt's hand.

"What? It's true."

Andrea jumped in, knowing Blaine didn't want to talk about this. "So, have you heard anything from NYADA Kurt?"

"Uh, actually, I have. I was going to wait to tell Blaine, but this seems like as good a time as any. I got my letter from NYADA and, I'm a finalist."

"Kurt, oh my- congratulations!" Blaine leaned over to place a kiss on Kurt's cheek."

"That's amazing Kurt, congratulations." Andrea smiled.

"Thank you. Now I have to pick a song to use for my audition, but that can wait until later."

"Is NYADA your first choice if you get accepted?" Andrea asked.

"Absolutely. It would be a dream come true."

"What about you Blaine? What are you going to do if he moves to New York?"

"Mother!"

"What? Are you telling me you haven't talked about it?" Andrea looked between the boys. "Oh my God, you haven't talked about it."

"No mom, we haven't." Blaine sighed. "Look, I've been thinking but I haven't actually brought anything up yet."

"You've been thinkig?" Kurt looked at Blaine with a slightly worred expression.

"Yes I have. I know you're moving to New York no matter what, we've already established that, and I don't want you to think I'm trying to smother you, but I've been thinking about moving to New York as well."

"Blaine-"

"If you don't want me to, that's fine, I'll understand I just-"

"Blaine, I would love for you to come to New York with me, you really have no idea how much I would love that, but are you sure you want to just pick up and leave?"

"When I was in high school, my dream was to move to New York and perfrom, but for some reason I decided to become a teacher. I'm so glad I did though because it gave me the change to meet you, but now I want to maybe get back on track with me dream of performing."

"As long as you promise you're not just doing it for me, then of course I want you to come to New York with me, god Blaine, you have no idea." Kurt smiled and stood up to hug Blaine properly.

"I love you so much Kurt."

"I love you too Blaine."

Andrea just sat back and watched her son and Kurt interact. She really saw how much they loved each other and realized that Kurt could very well be the man her son settles down with. She smiled at the revelation and excused herself from the table, leaving the boys alone. Kurt may be young, but he loves Blaine with everything he has and that's all any mother could ask for.
