Author's Notes: Chapter End Notes: Yeah... that wasn't that great, but it's something. I will update as much as possible, but this story is giving me problems. I can promise you that I will not leave it unfinished though. I'm not that mean, I'll force myself to write if I have to. -Krystal :) x

Blaine's father comes home the following week. Kurt wanted to be there when Blaine and Andrea told him about their relationship, but Blaine refused. He knows how is father can be and he doesn't want to have Kurt around if it goes bad.

When James pulled into the driveway, he noticed Blaine's car. It was a Wednesday afternoon, Blaine should be at work.

"Andrea? Blaine?"

"James, you're back. How was the trip?" Andrea greeted her husband as soon as he walked through the door, trying to get a feel of his mood before she and Blaine explain everything.

"It was exhausting, but things went well so there's no reason to complain too much. Why is Blaine here, is he okay?" James may not always see eye to eye eith his son, but he did care about him and he was worried.

"He's fine, we have a lot to tell you though. I want you to promise me you'll listen to everything he has to say before you start judging him. He's an adult and he can make his own decisions. He's not asking for our approval, but it would be good if we gave it to him."

"Yes, okay, I will. What's going on?" James looked at Blaine when he walked into the sitting room. He couldn't remember a time when Blaine looked so scared or nervous.

"Just have a seat and we'll explain everything." Andrea gave Blaine a reassuring smile, waiting for James to be seated. This could go either very well or very bad, she just hopes things will work out.

"What happened? I've been waiting all day for you to call. I couldn't even consentrate on my French lesson, and you know how much I love that class. I barely got through dinner."

"Whoa, slow down. Hello to you too Kurt." Blaine couldn't help but laugh. Kurt's always been a worrier.

"Hi. Now tell me what happened."

"Well, we told him about you and me, about the attack, and about me getting fired."

"And?" Kurt was getting impatient.

"And, nothing. He said he understands what it's like to be in love. He's not sure he understands why your dad is okay with it, and I think he wants to met him to be sure I wasn't lying about him knowing, but other than that, everything went great."

Kurt let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. "Thank God. Blaine, I don't know what I would have done if-"

"No matter what my father's view had been, it wouldn't have changed anything. I'm a twenty-five year old man who lives on his own. I've out grown needing my parents' approval on who I date."

"You know, it's only when you say things like that, that I'm reminded just how much older you are."

"Hey now, I might be older but-"

"Blaine, it was a joke. Twenty-five isn't that old." Kurt laughed. He loved talking with Blaine like this, not having to worry about anything. "I just thought of something."

"And what might that be?"

"We don't have to hide anymore. Now that your dad knows, we have no reason to hide our relationship." Kurt couldn't help the smile that took over his face.

"You're right, we don't." Blaine hadn't even thought about that.

"We can go out now and not have to drive two hours away just avoid anyone spotting us. We can go to the Lima Bean for coffee dates. You can come with me when Dad insists on going out for Friday night dinners now!"

"I honestly don't think I've ever heard you sound so happy. It's refreshing." It is moments like this that remind Blaine just how much he loves Kurt.

"I'm just really happy. I've been dreaming of this, being able to go out with you and not have to hide."

"I love you so much Kurt."

"I love you too."

"Tomorrow after school, I want to take you to Breadstix. I know it's not anything big, but I want everyone to know how proud I am to call  you my boyfriend. No more hiding."

"Only if we can come back to my house and watch a movie. I was going to ask you anyway."

"Deal. Any chance you're  going to tell me what movie we're going to watch?"

"Nope, it's a surprise, but I promise you'll love it."

"I'm sure I will. It's starting to get late and you have to get up for school in the morning, I should let you go." Blaine hadn't realized how late it was when he called. He'd gotten hung up with spending time with his parents.

"Alright. Goodnight Blaine, I love you."

"Sweet dreams Kurt. I love you too."

Kurt hung up with a happy sight. When he first met Blaine, he never thought he even had a chance with him, now here they are. He loves Blaine and Blaine loves him, and after graduation, they're moving to New York together. Never in his wildest dreams did Kurt Hummel ever believe something as wonderful as this would happen to him.
