Author's Notes: Time to find out what happens after the phone call. The plan, and the meeting are happening. :)Enjoy.

When Blaine woke up he momentarily forgot about the events of the night before. However, when he rolled over and realized he wasn't in his bed, but in Kurt's, everything came rushing back. He jumped up with a gasp, waking Kurt up.

"Wha- Blaine." Kurt mumbled sleepily.

"S-sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."

"S'fine. What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just- everyhing that happened last night, I-"

"It's going to be fine Blain, we'll work something out." Kurt sat up, moving to kneel on the bed behind Blaine. "I promise you, we'll get through this." He hugged Blaine from behind, burying his face in Blaine's shoulder.

"I-I'll lose my job, I live on my own, I won't be able to pay rent or-"

"Blaine honey, please stop. We'll figure this out together, and you're welcome to stay here if worst comes to worst. We're in this mess together, okay?"

"Okay." Blaine whispered brokenly. He leaned back into Kurt's touch. "I love you so much Kurt."

"I love you too Blaine. Let's go downstairs and get some breakfast then we'll work on a plan." Kurt said, kissing Blaine's cheek before getting out of bed and leading Blaine downstairs.

"Good morning Kurt, Blaine. Breakfast is just about ready, I'm heading to wash up. Burt and Finn are already at the table if you want to go ahead and sit down." Carole greeted them at the bottom of the stairs.

"Good morning Carole, do you need any help?" Kurt asked.

"Nope, everything's ready, but thank you sweetie."

They entered the kitchen to find Finn and Burt in the middle of talking about football.

"But the Buckeyes- oh hey boys, sleep well?" Burt asked when he noticed them.

"Yep, what about you Blaine?" Kurt turned to Blaine.

"Very well yes, and thank you for letting me stay here Mr. Hummel."

"Please, call me Burt, and you're welcome. Are you staying for breakfast? Carole made plenty of food."

"Uh well I-"

"Yes he is, and after breakfast we're going to figure out a plan just in case the meeting is about us." Kurt answered, pulling Blaine to sit down as Carole appeared, setting the toast and bacon on the table.

"Well then, dig in. There's plenty more where this came from." Carole said with a smile.

Breakfast went by smoothly, Blaine joined Finn and Burt in football talk whule Kurt and Carole talked about their next shopping trip. It almost felt like a normal breakfast.

They were all sitting in the living room after breakfast when Blaine decided to start the conversation. "So, we need to figure out what we're going to do."

"Yes we do. Did you have any ideas?" Kurt asked.

"Not really, I mean if they know it's not going to matter either way."

"We could argue that I'm eighteen, I'm a legal adult."

"Won't work kiddo, he's still your teacher." Burt chimed in.

"I could be moved from his class, that way I'm not in contact with him."

Blaine shook his head. "Wouldn't matter, being involved with a student, whether they're in your class or not, is cause for immediate termination. It's a disclaimer in the contract." He said, with a hint of bitterness to his tone.

"You could just deny it." Finn spoke up durning a commercial. He'd been focused on the game so no one expected him to speak.

"What do you mean honey?" Carole asked as everyone turned their attention to Finn.

"Well wouldn't they have to have proof before they can fire him? How would anyone have proof, they haven't been together long enough. There can't be any real proof, so that means they could just deny the relationship." Finn said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"I could deny it, but then I'd be watched like a hawk, meaning I wouldn't even be able to look at Kurt without them finding a reason to believe it." Blaine sighed and ran his hands through his hair.

"Would it work?" Kurt asked.

"What?"

"Would Finn's idea work?"

"Uh, I guess. I mean they would have to have solid proof of the relationship, so-"

"Then that's our plan." Kurt said matter of factly.

"What? No, I can't!" Blaine said with a hint of deperation.

"Why not? It's our best option, unless you want to lose your job."

"Kurt, we don't get to see each other enough as it is, if we do this we'll never get to see each other, and-"

"I think you're stretching that. We can go on dates in Westerville and other places that are a safe distance from Lima. We'll still be able to call and text each other, just no interaction at school unless it's absolutely necessary."

"You don't get it! I won't deny this, I can't. I won't, I love you."

"I love you too Blaine, and I know you love me, it's okay. I promise, it's okay."

"But Kurt-"

"No buts Blaine look me in the eye and tell me it's not out best option." Kurt challenged.

"I- we could- fine! Yes, it's our best option but-"

"I said no buts. It's settled, this is our plan."

"Fine, but just for the record, I'm not okay with this." Blaine said in frustration. This was not how this year was suppose to turn out. It was suppose to be a good, mostly uneventful year, not the drama-fest it had turned into.

Blaine went home Saturday evening and spent all of Sunday busying himself with grading and lesson plans and trying not to think about what Monday morning was going to bring. That's why when his alarm went off a half an hour earlier on Monday, Blaine was exhausted. Sleep had been scarce, he'd been too stressed to sleep. Before leaving for McKinley, he sent Kurt a text. "Leaving for the meeting, wish me luck. I love you and no matter what happens today, that will never change." -Blaine.

He recieved a reply almost instantly. "Good luck honey, I love you too, so much. Just remember, no matter what, I'm here for you." -Kurt.

Blaine smiled, he really loved this boy. A calm came over him, he was in love and if worst cames to worst, he'd pick Kurt over his job any day. With that new out look, he headed out the door with a smile on his face.

As he made his way into the office, Blaine noticed two of the board members along with Principal Figgins, already seated.

"Ah, Mr. Anderson, good morning." Principal Figgins greeted with a smile.

"Good morning everyone, I hop I'm not late, I-"

"No, no, you're fine. Have a seat Mr. Anderson, we have something we want to talk to you about." One of the board members, Mike, Blaine thinks that's his name, says. He motions for Blaine to take a seat.

"First, we'd like to know how you're enjoying working here in Lima." The other board member spoke up.

"Well, it's certainly different from Florida, but I've adjusted." Blaine answered, willing his nerves away.

"That's wonderful, we've heard nothing but good things about you since you've started working here, which is why we wanted to talk to you today." Mike said.

"Excuse me?" Blaine was lost.

"We've had many teachers come through those doors, but none of them have gained the repect of the students as fast as you have, and we thought we could use that to our advantage.

"I'm sorry, but I'm still not following."

"There's a new law that states, starting next semester we have to start a research class for the seniors. Basically, they will each pick a topic, research it, and present a project on it at the end of the semester. We couldn't think of anyone else who could get the kids to actually do it, so we're asking you to take it."

"So what you're saying is, you want to offer me another class?" Blaine asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't just making things up in his head.

"Yes, that's what we're saying. The kids respect you well enough that we think they'd be more willing to participate if it were you teaching the class, maybe it's because you're closer to their age than most of the teachers here, who knows. All we know is that this class is mandatory starting next semester, and it could be the deciding factor in some of them graduating or not. You're our best option to get them to go along with this without too much of a fuss. We've also decided that if you do take this job, we will give you a good sized raise on your paycheck for your troubles."

"Uh I- wow I-" Blaine was speechless, and relieved. This felt like a really good dream.

"You don't have to make the disicion today, but we will need to know by-"

"Yes. I- absolutely, I'd be honored."

"Are you sure Mr. Anderson? This is going to add a lot to your schedule, we don't want to work you to death."

"I'm positive. I would love to do this." Blaine said with a smile. He couldn't wait to find Kurt and tell him that everything was going to be okay.

"Well then, we'll get everything set up and meet with you a few more times here soon to dicuss the details and get you ready for next semester. Thank you very much Mr. Anderson, you're free to go now, we don't want to make you late for your first class."

"Thank you, thank you so much." Blaine shook their hands and left the office. He wanted to jump and yell with joy. Kurt had been right, there was nothing to worry about. He made a mental note to take Kurt out to celebrate as he made his way to his classroom. Maybe this year wasn't so bad after all.

End Notes: Well well well. Looks like Finn isn't as dumb as he lets on and maybe Blaine should take Kurt's advice and not jump to conclusions so fast. :)This class that Blaine is going to start teaching is loosely based on a class I had to take in H.S. my senior year. Ours was a year long class, but the basics of it will be based on my own expeirence. :)Let me know what you thought.-Krystal :) x
