Author's Notes: First order of business, I hope everyone had a great Christmas, if you don't celebrate, then I hope you had a great day. :)Second, since it was Christmas I really didn't get this chapter prepared how I would have liked it, so this is going to be another short one. Nothing major, just a little Hummel family breakfast, of course with Blaine. :)Enjoy. :)

When Blaine woke up he had no idea where he was or how he'd gotten there. The last thing he remembered was being in the locker rooms and Kurt-

"Kurt?" Blaine called, he winced half at the roughness of his voice and half at the name he'd tried so hard to not even think about.

"I see you're awake now, want some breakfast kiddo?"

Blaine looked up with a terrified look at Burt standing in the doorway. "B-burt, uh I mean, Mr. Hummel, w-what, why?" He was even more confused than before, apparently he was at Kurt's house.

"It's Burt kiddo, and I think I'll let Kurt explain. So what about that breakfast?" Burt asked with an amused look.

"Uh, n-no thanks I really sh-should be-"

"Not a chance Blaine, your parents know you're here, Carole called them last night."

"Oh okay. I guess I could eat I am kind of hungry, but I don't want to be in the way." Truthfully Blaine was starving but he felt nervous and out of place in the Hummels' home, he didn't belong here anymore.

"You're not in the way Blaine, come on, lets go get some food, I'm starving." Burt motioned Blaine towards the kitchen.

"Okay, and um, thank you, I really don't deserve this after what I did-"

"Nope, we're not talking about that, just breakfast." Burt couldn't believe this sad, shy little boy was the same kid who helped Kurt and became Kurt's life.

"Ah good morning sweetie." Carole called to them as they walked into the kitchen,

"Good morning darlin'" Burt said, kissing his wife on the cheek.

"I wasn't talking to you silly, I was talking to Blaine." Carole laughed pulling Blaine into a hug.

"Uh, oh, good morning Mrs., I mean Carole." Blaine couldn't help but smile a little, Carole always had that effect on him.

"We're having omlets with your choice of bacon or ham or both. Oh and Burt will you wake the other two sleeping beauties up?" Carole asked while getting out the ingredients she needed.

"Yeah yeah. Go ahead and have a seat kiddo." Burt directed his attention to Blaine who was still standing where Carole had released him from the hug.

"Okay, and uh, thanks again, both of you." Blaine said with a small smile.

"No need to thank us sweetie, you're always welcome here, always." Carole said patting Blaine's shoulder as she walked past him.

"Kurt! Finn! Get down here you're mother's making breakfast!" Burt yelled up the stairs.

"Food?" Finn was the first one to the stairway.

"Yes Finn, food. Now get down here."

"Dad be quiet you'll wake Blaine up!" Kurt said making his way down the stairs.

"He's already awake and in the kitchen, he even smiled a little bit." Burt said. "Wait a minute, I thought you were sleeping in the living room." Burt gave Kurt a confused look.

"I was but that chair is not the best bed, so I went up to my room." Kurt said as he walked into the kitchen, his breath catching at the sight of Blaine sitting there watching Carole make breakfast.

"G-good morning, how'd you sleep?" Kurt asked, sitting beside Blaine.

"Really good, thanks." Blaine felt awkward, something that he never thought would happen with Kurt.

Blaine, look at me." Kurt said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I-I can't, I'm scared of what I'll see in your eyes." Blaine admitted, he was too tired to make excuses.

Kurt just looked at Blaine for a minute before he spoke again. "Let me see your hands they're pretty beat up." He held out his hands, waiting.

"They are." Blaine said simply, placing his hands in Kurt's. "I stopped using gloves when I box."

"I noticed." Kurt whispered, holding Blaine's hands carefully.

"Okay boys, let's eat." Carole said setting the food on the table. "Finn, get out of the bathroom or you'll miss breakfast." She said a little louder so he would hear.

"We'll wrap these up later, that way they don't get infected." Kurt told Blaine, letting go of his hands so they could eat.

"Okay, thank you Kurt." Blaine said, finally looking at Kurt, he let out a gasp when he saw that Kurt's eyes were full of love and worry, not hate and anger like he thought.

"Anything for you Blaine, anything."

End Notes: I know that was small and not much happened, but it was a needed chapter. Knowing that Carole and Burt don't hate Blaine is something that I needed to put out there. They both think of Blaine as a son, and that is important for Blaine as the story progresses.Let me know what you think so far. :) Hope you liked this one.

aww yay!! cant wait to see how this klaine situation goes!

I really like the way I played them and their relationship out in this story, it's not all fun and games. It give you hope that they'll make it, but at the same time it gives you the "oh what if they don't" feeling and that was really fun to write. :)-Krystal :) x
