Kurt just sat there after Blaine left. He felt numb, he couldn't even answer when his dad came up to his room to ask him if everything was okay. He just looked right through him. He hadn't taken his eyes off the spot he'd last seen Blaine, still in shock.

"Rachel?" Burt asked after hearing the phone being picked up on the other end.
"Mr. Hummel, is everything okay?" Rachel could hear the stress in his voice.
"I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to be."
"What happened? Kurt said he'd call me today but he hasn't yet." Rachel was getting worried now.
"We all went out, left the boys here so they could be alone, we got back home, they seemed fine. Carole went upstairs to talk to Kurt and not even five minutes after she got downstairs, Blaine rushed out without saying a word. Now Kurt's just sitting on his bed, not making any move to react to anything. I tried to talk to him. but he didn't even acknowledge my presence. He just looked right through me, like I wasn't there." Burt finished with a broken sigh.
"I'll be right over. I guess it was a good think I didn't leave today to head back to New York." Rachel said, grabbing her coat and keys.
"Yeah, I just hope you can get through to him, he's scaring me. I've never seen him like this, not even when his mom died."
"Don't worry Mr. Hummel, I know just what to do, he's been acting like this since the break up, I can handle it."
"Thank you Rachel, he's lucky to have a friend like you."
"No need to thank me, he's my best friend, I'd do anything for him. I'm leaving now, so I'll see you in a few minutes." Rachel said, getting into her car.
"Okay, see ya." Burt said, hanging up.
Before leaving her driveway, Rachel sent a quick text to Sam.
"Find Blaine, not sure what happened, but it doesn't look good. I'm heading to Kurt's now, just find Blaine, make sure he's okay. Text me when you do." -Rachel.

Sam was sitting in math when he got the message.
"No cell phones in class Mr. Evans."
"Sorry, but it's an emergency." Sam said as he gathered up his belongings.
"Where do you think you're going Mr. Evans, class is not over."
"Family emergency, can't wait." With that, Sam walked out, knowing Artie and Tina had study hall this period, he headed to the library to find them.
"Hey Sam, aren't you suppose to be in math?" Tina asked as Sam all but ran to their table once he spotted them.
"Yeah, but we need to go. It's Blaine, we need to fin him. Something happened with him and Kurt." Sam said in a rushed voice.
"Find him? You mean he's missing?" Artie asked as they all made their way out of the school.
"I'm not sure, Rachel just texted me and said to find him, she's heading to Kurt's now."
"Did you check the locker room?" Tina asked.
"His car isn't here, so he's not here. God where could he have went?" Sam asked frustrated, packing Artie's wheelchair into the trunk of his car.
"I can only think of two places and really only one of them is what I think Blaine would do." Artie spoke up as Sam started the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
"Where?" Was all Sam asked.
"His house, or Dalton." Artie said, knowing Sam would catch on.
"Well looks like we're making a trip to Dalton Academy. Tina text Rachel and tell her what we're doing." Sam said stepping on the gas, they needed to get there soon.

As Rachel pulled up to the Hummel's house, she felt her phone go off, it was a message from Tina.
"Heading to Dalton w/ Sam and Artie. Think B might be there, we'll update when we get there." -Tina.
Rachel immediately sent one back.
"Thanks guys. I just got to Kurt's, I'll update as well." -Rachel.
Rachel was met by Burt at the door, he looked stressed and worried.
"He's still upstairs. I hope you can get through to him." Burt said, stepping aside to let her in.
"He's been spacing out a lot since the break up, not sure why. I've always been able to pull him back to Earth though." Rachel reassured Burt, hoping to calm him down, he didn't need any stress.
"Just take care of him." Was all Burt said.
"I will Mr. Hummel, now please calm down, Kurt would hate to see you so stressed, you don't need it."
Burt laughed. "You sound just like him kiddo."
Rachel smiled at the nickname, usually only reserved for the boys. She took a deep breath and climbed the stairs to help her best friend.

Blaine made his way through the winding halls of Dalton, memories of his time there flooding back in. As he reached the staircase he paused. He'd met the love of his life, his soulmate on this stiarcase, and now said love was sitting in his room, shell-shocked because Blaine had said goodbye. He took another deep breath and made his way up the stairs, pausing only briefly on the stair where Kurt had stood when he caught Blaine that first day.
"It's for the best." He thought to himself as he continued his way up. Classes were still going on so the Warbler's wouldn' be practicing yet, he decided to head to the study hall, hoping to find Jeff, Nick, Thad, David, or really anyone he knew.
"Blaine?" Asked a voice from behind him.
Blaine spun around, not expecting anyone to be in the halls at this time. "Sebastian." Blainne said, sounding relieved.
"What are you doing here? Are you okay?" Sebastian asked, noticing the bags under Blaine's eyes and his bandaged hands.
"Uh actuallym no, but I don't want to talk about it-"
"With me?"
"What? Oh no, no, no, I was going to say in the middle of a hallway, and shouldn't you be in class? Blaine asked.
"I have a free period right now. Do you wanna go somewhere and talk?" Sebastian asked looking worried.
"Please." Blaine said with a shaky breath, the memory of New York and Kurt thinking Blaine had been with Sebastian coming back to him.
"What about the senior commons?" Sebastian asked.
"Yeah su- no, God no." Blaine couldn't go in there, that was where he'd kissed Kurt for the first time.
"Okay, okay, what about the Warbler practice room? It should be empty for a while."
"Yeah that's fine." Blaine said in a quiet voice. He didn't think that it would be this hard to be at Dalton.
"Okay, let's go." Sebastian motioned for Blaine to lead the way. He could tell something was really wrong. He'd heard rumors that Blaine and Kurt had split, but he hadn't believed it. Now he was starting to think it was true.

Great chapter. I really like how this chapter set up what is going to happen, but was still interesting! Looking forward to next time you update!
I'm glad you thought it was interesting. :) I know sometimes filler chapters can be borderline boring sometimes and I tried not to let that happen here. :)
