Blaine woke up to a tug on his arm the following morning.
“Hmm?” he mumbled, rubbing his eyes and tenderly opening them, wincing at the sunlight and rolling over a little more. He got half way onto his stomach, when he bumped into...something. Someone.
He moved back onto his back and closed his eyes again. Another firm tug on his arm forced them back open.
“Get up, Anderson.”
“Kurt?” Blaine mumbled, stretching out his legs, immediately cringing at the realisation he slept in his uniform.
“You fell asleep. Classes are in 30 minutes.” He said, throwing some clothes towards Blaine from where he had walked over into his open closet. He disappeared for a few moments before bringing Blaine an armful of clothes, underwear and a clean blazer. Blaine took them from him and murmured thanks.
Kurt paused for a minute, just looking before he reached up instinctively and ran his fingers softly through Blaine’s hair.
“Hm.” He pondered, pulling his hand back and walking away, tucking his shirt loosely into his tight denim jeans.
“What?” Blaine laughed a little, reaching up to smoothen his hair back down, ignoring how curly he’d let it get.
“I’ve gotta run out for 10 minutes, the showers in the bathroom and...Yeah.” Kurt said, gesturing softly towards the bathroom door before slipping out of the grand doors.
Blaine let his body fall backwards onto the mattress with a thump, sighing heavily. He wasn’t sure if he could handle another side of Kurt to deal with, no matter how much this side made him want to cuddle with him forever and never let him go, to let himself fall completely for him, but this was just for this moment...he knew that the moment they walked out into that hallway, it was over. Blaine heaved himself off of the bed and stumbled towards the shower, taking the clothes with him. He placed them on a shelf in the bathroom, and switched the shower on, watching the water pound to the floor for a few moments before locking the door and taking off his clothes. He left them on the floor and stepped into the steaming shower.

Blaine found Kurt about 15 minutes later, piling clothes into a suitcase he had balanced on the end of his bed. Blaine ran his fingers through his – thankfully dry, after using Kurt’s hair dryer – curls, which had flattened to somewhat a presentable position.
“Going...somewhere?” he asked softly, piling his dirty clothes onto Kurt’s bed in a pile, which he had folded in the bathroom.
“London.” Kurt sighed, zipping the suitcase closed together and dragging it to a standing position on the floor. Blaine noticed that he’d changed out of his uniform into tight dark jeans and a simple white v-neck shirt.
“London...England?!” Blaine asked, shocked.
“Yeah. My dad’s over there and he wants me to go meet someone.”
“And you’re leaving now?”
“Yes. You better get to class soon.”
“How long are you going for?” Blaine asked.
Kurt sighed, frustrated with all the questions. “I’ll be back in time for your little party on Friday don’t worry. But for now, I’m going to have to ask you to leave.”
Yep, the old Kurt was back. Blaine breathed out an aggravated breath and walked towards the door, leaving his clothes on Kurt’s bed, he knew he wouldn’t mind. He picked up his things where he’d left them and pulled the door open.
“Blaine?” Kurt’s voice yelled. Blaine turned to face him. “Your hair...it looks great.” He smiled a warm smile that Blaine barely saw, only around Sebastian or Marc. It was nice.
“I’ll s-see you Friday.” Blaine mumbled, and then he shut the door.
He walked to English class slowly, slipping silently into his chair next to Nick. Nick turned to him with a smile as he pulled out his book they were reading.
“Hey Anderson” he said as the teacher left the room, something she seemed to do every single lesson.
Blaine looked up and smiled at him. “Hey,” he said, looking back down to his book.
“You’re wearing Kurt’s clothes.” Nick said simply.
Blaine looked down at his clothes, then back up to Nick.
“I am.” He turned back to his book.
“Are you two-” He started, but Blaine slammed the book on the table a little too hard, a few people turned to look but quickly turned back around again when they saw Blaine Anderson and Nick Matthews arguing. They knew better than to stare at Kurt’s friends.
“What?!” Nick continued. He lowered his voice. “Look, I-I tried to warn you,”
“Nick, save the speech.” Blaine smiled a little bit. “I’m not in trouble or danger or anything, I promise.”
“Blaine.” He said softly, “Kurt is-”
“Not someone I’m involved with. So you can stop worrying now.”
“Fine, fine okay.” Nick gave up, picking his book up.
They read in silence for a while, until the bell rang and they collected their bags and headed towards the door together.
“But why are you wearing his clothes?”
“I fell asleep in his dorm and he leant me some to wear.”
“How to you expect me to believe you’re not involved with him?”
“Because he’s not.” Sebastian stated blankly from where he was standing at the doorway. “Now run along Matthews, Jeff’s waiting for you.”
Nick shook his head and walked on, leaving Blaine to turn to Sebastian.
“Hey, what’s going on?”
“Well, Hummel’s gone to London so Marc’s gonna tutor you for the next couple of days until he’s back, he asked me to come get you.”
Blaine smiled and said okay, then headed with Sebastian towards Marc’s dorm.
Studying with Marc was okay, he wasn’t as good of a tutor as Kurt, but he didn’t make Blaine focus as much either, he let them go off topic and didn’t even say a word when Blaine dropped his book to the floor, losing all hope in studying at all.

The rest of the week passed pretty fast, Warbler rehearsals were cancelled because of Kurt being away, so Blaine spent the time with Lucy and watching movies with her. When they were younger, they used to always watch movies together but since Santana found Blaine, they never really did that anymore. Lucy was only a year younger and it was nice to have a friend in her as well as a sister.
Thursday night spiralled around quickly and Blaine drove his sister to the airport, where she was going back to Ohio to stay with their mother for a few days, and by the time he had got home all that was there was a note from his dad saying:
Gone to Boston.
Back in a week.
Pick Lucy up on Tuesday at 9:30am from the airport.
Don’t break anything.
Give Santana & co my love
D.
He sighed and screwed the note into a ball, aiming for the bin. He sat down into his chair and pulled his phone out as it started vibrating. Santana. He sighed with a smile and answered.
“You know, I don’t think you’ve ever called me as much as you have this week.”
“Someone’s sexually frustrated.”
“What is it San?”
“We’re getting an earlier flight...”
“How much earlier?” He wondered, walking over to pick up an apple from the fruit bowl in the kitchen.
“We’re boarding in 20 minutes.”
“Wait...you’re coming tonight?”
“You’ve lost IQ points, Anderson. Of course we’re coming tonight. We have to prepare for the party!”
“Alright, alright.”
“You’ve invited guys, right? Guys I can hook up with?”
“What about Kyle?”
“We broke up. Look I’ll catch you up when we land, but I’ve gotta go they’re calling our flight, see you in a few hours baby!”
“Okay, have a safe flight.”
He hung up the phone and walked into his bedroom to get changed. He made sure to fold all of Kurt’s clothes neatly and place them on a shelf in the back of his closet before pulling out a flannel shirt and some skinny jeans. He slipped them on, spraying himself with some cologne and then grabbed his phone and keys and headed out the door. It would take him a while to get to the airport in this traffic, and the flight from Ohio to New York only takes an hour, he should get there about the same time they do.
He sat through the traffic, tapping at his steering wheel as his radio blared top 40 hits he knew most of the words to, he sang along confidently and finally reached the airport. He knew his way around here, so pulled into the parking lot and headed into the Arrivals area.
He saw Santana first, followed quickly by Puck and then Rachel. Santana ran –well, half-ran half-skipped because she decided black stiletto boots were apparently a great idea for an airport- up to Blaine and grabbed him into a hug, Blaine let his arms wrap around her, head nuzzling into her shoulder, he really missed her.
“Hi sweetie.” She whispered laughing.
“Hey,” he replied softly.
He pulled away and let his arms wrap around Rachel, a slightly shorter brunette girl, with beautiful big eyes. They were close friends for a while; Santana had never really taken to her until she started dating Puck, but being one of Puck’s closest friends, Santana had forced herself to tolerate her, and even though she only ever barely admitted it to Blaine, she really did like her.
“Anderson, what’s happened to you man!” Puck laughed, ruffling Blaine’s hair with his fingers. Blaine brushed it down and laughed it off, patting him on the arm fondly. He reached down to take Santana’s suitcase (seriously, how much stuff did she bring just for one weekend?!) and Santana gripped his hand with her own and the four headed back towards Blaine’s car.
***
Four hours later, found the four teens laying around Blaine’s living room, empty shot glasses around them and three empty vodka bottles rest on the table, the fourth half empty.
“Okay, okay, so I’m just gonna ask.” Blaine slurred, smiling and turning to Santana. He bought his finger up at her accusingly. “Kyle. What happened?”
Santana sighed heavily, still laughing and reached out to grab Blaine’s hand and push it down away from her.
“Okay fine. I’ll tell you, but then I get a question,” She looked mischievously at Blaine and he nodded slowly, pouring out some more shots.
“I walked in on Kyle and someone else.” She said carefully.
Blaine placed the bottle down and started passing the shots around.
“Who?” Blaine asked, he heard Rachel shuffle on the sofa and assumed this was a story they’d heard more than enough times.
“Quinn Fabray.”
Blaine took his shot and slammed the glass down onto the table.
“Skank Quinn Fabray?”
“The one and only.” Puck slurred.
“Shut it, Noah.” Santana glared at him.
“He had sex with a skank?” Blaine repeated.
“He’s dating a skank!” Rachel squeaked.
“I’m going to bed.” Santana announced, standing up and swaying a little, completely forgetting that she still had a question for Blaine. “Come on.” She tugged on Blaine’s hand with her own and helped him stand up, she stumbled as he did and he caught her in his arms.
“You two know where you’re sleeping?” Blaine checked, glancing down to Rachel and Puck who were moving to stand up too.
“Yep. You go ahead.” Puck said, signalling towards Blaine’s bedroom.
***
Two hours later found Blaine and Santana curled up in Blaine’s duvet in bed talking quietly. Santana was dressed in one of Blaine’s old fencing club shirts and Blaine was in some baggy pyjama pants.
“Do you miss him?” Blaine whispered into the darkness, they had pulled the duvet over their heads so it was darker and quieter.
“I guess.” She replied quietly, fingers playing with the material of his shirt.
“You’ll be alright...there’s gonna be loads of guys here tomorrow for you to take your pick from.” Blaine smiled.
“That reminds me, you need to lend me your car tomorrow afternoon.”
“Lend you my car?” He asked.
“I have to go pick up your surprise!”
Blaine groaned and turned to lie on his back. “Who is it?”
“Yeah right you wish.” She laughed, turning onto her side.
“Fine. Take the car, but don’t trash it and drive safely, I don’t want you crashing it like you did your own.” He sighed.
She hummed into the darkness and they both began to drift off to sleep.
As Blaine was slipping into being fully asleep, a loud bang on the wall jolted him, and he sat up quickly.
“Fucking hell.” Santana moaned, standing up and walking over to the wall, she hit her fist on it hard three times and yelled. “SHUT THE FUCK UP.”
Blaine heard Puck apologise through the muffled wall and Santana walked back over to her side of the bed and got back in under the covers. Blaine wrapped an arm around her and kissed her cheek.
“Night San.” He said softly.
***
Blaine slept in until 2pm the following day; thankfully Dalton had given all students the day off because of a staffing matter, and woke up to Santana gone, but a note left on her pillow.
Gone out for a few hours with Puckerman to get your surprise! ;)
Rachel is gonna help you set up for tonight.
See you later baby!
xx
Blaine sighed and dragged himself into the shower, he got dressed and then went out into the kitchen to find Rachel sipping carefully at a glass of orange juice.
“Hi honey.” She smiled at him.
“Hey Rach” He opened the fridge and pulled out the bottle of orange juice and began pouring himself some, he reached over and topped up Rachel’s glass too.
“Do you know who it is yet?” Rachel beamed.
“No.” He sighed. “I’m guessing you know.”
“Of course I know!” She was practically rocking in her seat. “I’m excited.”
“I can tell.” He cocked his eyebrow and sipped some juice, pausing for a moment before adding. “Is it a good surprise?”
“Oh it’s the best. When Noah told me that San had a surprise to bring you, and it was a guy, I never thought of him. I didn’t think they’d ever bring him, but as soon as he told me, I just knew it was perfect. Of course he agreed straight away, they’re taking him out for dinner and then they’re going to sneak him in during the party. That’s all I’m allowed to tell you.” She grinned, as if she had let out this huge secret.
“That gives me nothing to go on Rachel.” He sighed, finishing the last of his juice.
“That’s the point!” She smiled again. “Come on, let’s go. We need to go get some alcohol for tonight otherwise no one’s gonna come...Also I need a new outfit.” She said thoughtfully before grinning and practically jumping up and down. “LET’S GO SHOPPING!”
Blaine sighed and placed his glass down. “Fine, come on.”
***
Blaine drove to the mall, Rachel explaining everything that she’s been doing since he’s been gone and filling him in on absolutely every single detail of her wanting to come to NYADA after senior year. Blaine showed her around some of the city before pulling into the parking lot at the mall and taking her into all of her favourite stores.
“Blaaaaaaine.” Rachel whined, a few hours later as she struggled to keep up with him. “Are we seriously going to another store?”
Blaine laughed and reshuffled his hands so that carrying all of Rachel’s bags wasn’t as uncomfortable. He had offered and therefore wasn’t complaining, but she was.
“Alright, let’s head back to the car.” He said laughing, slowing to let her catch up with him.
He put all of her bags in the back of his car, and then hopped into the front as she put her seatbelt on and sat comfortably, pulling her phone out and holding it to her ear.
“Hi!” She said animatedly. “Uhuh, yeah we’re done shopping. We’re coming back now.”
Blaine pulled out of the parking lot, knowing that she was talking to Puck. He let them have their time and kept his mouth shut.
“He’s there?!” She practically screamed. “Can I talk to him?!”
Blaine was suddenly very interested in what Rachel was doing, but he focused on driving, pretending not to be listening.
“Oh okay.” She said sadly. “Tell him I’ll see him later. We’re in the car now so I’ll see you soon?” She paused before adding. “Love you Noah.”
She hung up the phone and giggled, practically jumping in her seat.
“How long until the party?” She asked with a ring to her voice.
“Uhh...what’s the time?” He replied.
“It’s just after 6...how were we out that long?”
“Shopping honey, shopping.”
“Right, right. So how long until the party?”
“People are gonna start arriving at 8.”
“Right. Step on it Anderson.” She grinned.

Arriving home to Puck and Santana sitting around the lounge with 7 kegs in the kitchen along with however much alcohol and mixers Puckerman seemed to be able to get his hands on wasn’t exactly what Blaine expected, but he wasn’t surprised.
They’d all got ready pretty quickly; Rachel was dressed in a simple tight white dress, short enough for Puck to appreciate her legs, but long enough that she didn’t feel too undignified. It had small sequins scattered across the entirety delicately yet beautifully matched with some white stiletto heels. Even Santana complimented her.
“You look...surprisingly stunning, Berry.” Santana smiled, Rachel blushed.
Santana was wearing black leather heeled boots with an absolutely astonishingly gorgeous dress. Even Blaine’s jaw dropped a little. Her dress was a deep red, clinging to every inch of skin, showing her curves off spectacularly.
“San...” Blaine whispered, walking towards her.
“No no.” She said, cocking her hip and resting her hand on it. “Twirl!” She span her finger around in a spinning motion. Blaine sighed and obliged, turning slowly.
“You look great.” She said proudly once he had returned to his original position.
“So do you.” He said softly.
“Check you out Anderson!” Puck catcalled as he walked out of the kitchen. Blaine looked down at himself and then back up to Puck. Blaine was wearing his tightest pair of dark denim jeans with a loose white and navy striped shirt.
“Thanks man.” Blaine grinned as the doorbell rang.
***
At half past 9, the party was in full swing. Blaine had been subject to Santana’s insistent screams of “SHOTS!” every 15 minutes until she was satisfied that he was drunk enough for his surprise.
Luckily, with drunken Rachel around, Blaine was able to try and get some more hints about the surprise.
“So, who is he, sweetie?” Blaine asked carefully.
“Who’s who?!” She slurred, sipping her drink and gulping it down.
“My surprise, who else?!” He nudged her shoulder with his and smiled.
She laughed and shook her head. “I’m not that drunk!”
“Oh you are! Drink up.” He pushed her drink up towards her mouth and eyed carefully as she finished it off.
“He’s someone you know very well. Someone you’ve slept with.”
“That narrows it down.” Santana scoffed from behind him. “Leave Berry alone. Besides he’s almost here.”
“He’s-”
“Blaine!” Sebastian called from across the room.
“Come on San, some people for you to meet.” Blaine said, taking her hand and leading her through the crowd of sweaty dancing teenagers.
“Santana, this is Marc, Sebastian and Kurt. Everyone, this is Santana Lopez.”
“You’re Kurt?” She cocked her eyebrow.
He looked her up and down before meeting her gaze with a false smile. “And you’re Santana.”
“Blaine, I have to go sort some stuff out...to do with, well you know. Have fun.”
“Alright baby.” Blaine kissed her on the cheek and watched her walking away, pretending to ignore the way that Kurt winced at the way he called her baby.
“What’s...going on?” Marc asked with a smile.
“I have no idea.” Blaine said simply, taking a long swallow of his drink.
“BLAINE. IT’S TIME.” Puck called, grabbing his arm, suddenly a lot closer than Blaine thought he was.
“Uhh...come with me?” Blaine asked Sebastian slowly.
“Sure.” Sebastian said, taking Marc’s hand and walking over to where there was a gap, a place where no one was dancing, and a single microphone on a small built up stage that Blaine swore was not there earlier in the day.
Rachel walked up to the microphone and tapped on it, the banging echoing around the room.
“I’m Rachel Berry.” A few cheers from the crowd made her giggle. “This is...Blaine’s big surprise, all the way from Lima, Ohio....” Her voice began squeaking with excitement. “Aaron Cooper!” She practically screamed into the microphone and hopped off of the small stage.
“Fuck.” Blaine whispered.
“Who’s Aaron Cooper?” Marc asked quietly in Blaine’s ear.
“Him.” Santana said proudly, appearing at Blaine’s side.
A tall muscular boy walked onto the stage, clad in short dark brown boots, jeans that hugged his ass perfectly, a dark brown leather jacket covering a musty white shirt which had the top two buttons open, revealing the slightest of chest. His hair was a little like Kurt’s, but more styled and not quite as long. He grinned at the first site of Blaine, and took the microphone as a heavy bass thumped the room.
So hot, out the box
Can we pick up the pace?
Turn it up, heat it up
I need to be entertained
Push the limit, are you with it?
Baby, don’t be afraid
Imma hurt you real good, baby
He dropped down from the stage and stood impossibly close to Blaine, watching the blush creep up Blaine’s neck. He let his finger drag down the side of Blaine’s face as he sang the line slowly.
Let’s go, it’s my show
Baby, do what I say
Drop trip off the glitz
That I’m gonna display
He moved back onto the stage, performing more to the crowd that just Blaine. Santana grabbed Rachel’s hand and pulled her onto the stage to perform a dance to the way he was singing, something they had clearly worked on for a long time before, but was nothing more than showing how sexy they are to the rest of the party. Aaron smiled and winked at them appreciatively and then turned back to the audience.
I told ya,
Imma hold you down
Until you’re amazed...
Give it to you til you’re screaming my name...
He let his eyes rake Blaine’s body at that line, placing the microphone back onto the stand and moving to let his hands run along it suggestively.
No escaping when I start,
Once I’m in I own your heart,
There’s no way you’ll ring the alarm,
So hold on until it’s over!
Rachel and Santana nodded at each other before moving to dance with Aaron, they let their bodies takeover the situation and just feel the thumping of the music, feeling the bass through their bodies as Aaron sang his way through the chorus confidently before starting the second verse by moving forward and grabbing Blaine’s by the shirt to drag him on stage as well, they both chuckled a little at each other, and it was in that moment that Kurt knew this wasn’t something that Blaine wasn’t happy with happening, he was enjoying every second of this guy being here.
It’s alright, you’ll be fine baby, I’m in control
Take the pain, take the pleasure,
I’m the master of both,
Close your eyes not your mind,
Let me into your soul...
Imma work ya til you’re totally blown
He let go of Blaine’s shirt and walked forwards towards him, making Blaine take a step back every time he took one closer, until Blaine felt himself teetering on the edge of the stage where Aaron simply wrapped his arm securely around Blaine and twisted them around so they could mimic the steps back across the other side of the stage. As Aaron took his arm away from Blaine, he felt himself instinctively wishing the pressure was back there, Aaron had been such a huge part of his life.
Oh, do you know what you got into?
Can you handle what I’m about to do?
Cause it’s about to get rough for you,
I’m here for your entertainment
He threw his head back on the next note, and Blaine let himself start taking the steps forward, moving more into the dance moves.
Oh! I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet,
You thought an angel swept ya off your feet
Well I’m about to turn up the heat,
I’m here for your entertainment!
Oh...
Do you like what you see?
Aaron winked playfully at Blaine, who was stood extremely closed to him, both of them swaying with the beat.
Oh woah!
Let me entertain you til you scream!
Oh, do you know what you got into?
Can you handle what I’m about to do?
Cause it’s about to get rough for you,
I’m here for your entertainment
Oh! I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet,
You thought an angel swept ya off your feet
Well I’m about to turn up the heat,
I’m here for your entertainment!
He finished off the song by dropping the microphone into Rachel’s awaiting hand and wrapped his arms around Blaine’s waist as Blaine ran his hand into his air, pulling him to meet their lips together hungrily. Aaron lent into the kiss, making Santana laugh and pat him on the back, fanning herself.
“Ladies and Gentlemen...Aaron Cooper!” Santana called out, without using the microphone.
The party cheered and clapped as Puck pressed play back on the sound system and a random song began to fill the room as people filled off to start dancing again. Blaine pulled away from Aaron but he rest their foreheads together.
“I can’t believe you’re here.” Blaine whispered, laughing.
“I can’t believe that song still gets you.” Aaron replied cockily.
“Oh that song will always get him.” Santana laughed as Aaron and Blaine pulled fully apart from each other.
Santana eyed Kurt as she, Rachel, Blaine and Aaron stepped off of the stage that Puck was about to quickly get rid of.
“Kurt Hummel. This is Aaron Cooper.”
