“I think you should be naked,” Blaine had Kurt hovering over him, his own fingers holding onto Kurt’s shirt to keep them closer together, their lips were barely grazing, every time Blaine leant up for a kiss Kurt pulled back a little bit.
“I think we should both be naked,” Kurt countered, smiling down at him before granting him a kiss.
“I think I’m gonna go to work.”
Blaine jumped at the voice and sat up, keeping his hand on Kurt’s shirt but pushing them into a less compromising position.
“M-mom!” he stuttered. “You’re home!”
She leant against the door and smiled at him, really unable to suppress any kind of humour she was finding in this situation.
“You must be Kurt!” she said happily, walking over and holding her hand out to him from the back of the sofa. He took it and shook slowly; face flushing with colour as she didn’t stop grinning at him. Blaine wrapped his arm around Kurt’s waist and pulled him closer.
“Goodbye, mom” Blaine forced through gritted teeth.
“If you’re gonna do that, you might want to go to your room. Lucy’s planning on stopping by later to get a change of clothes and I don’t think she’ll want to walk in on you two doing it on the sofa.”
Blaine dropped back to lie down and let out a huge puff of air, his arm coming up to cover his embarrassed face.
“Mom!”
“There’s no need to be embarrassed, sweetheart. I don’t have a problem with you two...having fun, just-”
“Mom!” he whined again.
“As long as you’re using protection, I’m fine!”
“Mom.” He said more sternly this time. “Just leave, please, I am begging you.”
“Alright, I’m going! It was lovely to meet you, Kurt.”
Kurt just nodded at her as she smiled and left the house, locking the door behind her. Kurt began to laugh and he leant over his boyfriend, pulling his arm away from his face and kissing him with a smile.
“She seems nice” he laughed.
“She’s an embarrassment.” Blaine replied, sighing before kissing Kurt again.
“You’re lucky she’s accepting, baby” Kurt said convincingly, he tugged Blaine up and moved to stretch his legs out either side of him, hands resting on his hips.
“Ner-ner-ner-ner-ner-ner-ner-ner-ner” Blaine mocked, in the exact tone Kurt used. He nuzzled his head into Kurt’s neck.
Kurt chuckled, running his fingers though his boyfriend’s hair. “Don’t mock me.”
Blaine cuddled further into Kurt, his own legs finding their way around Kurt’s waist so they were both between each other’s legs.
“So this guy...” Kurt tried again. He’d managed to get Blaine to open up a bit to him, but then Blaine had taken things to a more physical level and Kurt wasn’t really proud of himself for being at Blaine’s mercy whenever Blaine wanted to start making out with him, but it happened.
Blaine sighed a little bit but then tilted his head to kiss and suck on his neck, licking along the column of his throat, sucking a hickey onto the skin near the bottom of his neck, soothing the mark over with his tongue. Kurt let his head drop back a bit, his mouth gaping open a slight amount but then he pushed his palm against Blaine’s chest, swallowed his will to fuck his boyfriend senseless right then, and forced him to sit back. Blaine whined as he was dragged away, making Kurt want to give in even more, but he didn’t.
“I really don’t see your part in all this,” Kurt said. “This guy...”
“I don’t have a part in this.” Blaine feigned innocence and then leant forward towards his boyfriend. “I only have you for today....can we please just forget about it?”
“You’ll have me for as long as you want me” Kurt replied, kissing him gently, their dry lips pressing together tenderly, as they pulled away Kurt licked his lips, his tongue brushing against Blaine’s bottom lip.
“I’ll always want you” Blaine whispered back.
Kurt pulled away suddenly. “Hey, I just remembered.” He said, a grin pulling his lips. “My mom and dad want to meet you,”
Blaine couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face. “R-really?”
“Why so surprised?”
“I’ve never...met anyone’s parents before. Well, anyone who is-who, well, we’re-”
“I want you to meet my parents” Kurt shrugged. “They deserve to know who I’m in love with”
Blaine laughed, “Okay, so when?”
“Christmas” Kurt grinned again. “It’s perfect; your family absolutely sucks with Christmas plans,”
“You actually remember what I told you about Christmas?”
“You weren’t lying were you? Because I’ve pretty much planned everything”
“I wasn’t lying. But I’m surprised you remember”
“Of course I remember. I’ll fly you out on Christmas morning, and you can spend the day with us.”
“You never stop surprising me...” Blaine mumbled, leaning forward trying to kiss him, but Kurt pulled away.
“Stop trying to kiss me, I’m trying to make you fall in love with me” Kurt laughed. “I just invited you to spend Christmas day with me, you’re meant to sigh and say that you love me and that this is gonna be the best Christmas ever...”
“Well that’s good then, because I’m already so in love with you”
“Oh shut up,”
“So, Christmas”
“I’ll be there” he smiled.

And that was that. For the rest of the day, they cuddled and watched a couple of movies, they both cooked lasagne because Kurt had apparently never cooked in his life, so Blaine taught him, even though he either lied about never having cooked before or he was just extremely quick at picking things up. Kurt had to leave in the early evening, but not before Blaine had managed to drag him into his bed to cuddle with him, in all honesty Blaine just wanted his pillow to smell like him, he wanted something to hold onto for the week they’d be apart. They delayed Kurt leaving for almost 30 minutes, when Kurt finally put his foot down insisting that he really did have to leave Blaine moved so their bodies were flush together, and began kissing down Kurt’s neck to convince him to stay. Kurt mumbled a small “Baby, I have to go, I’m sorry” and Blaine finally let him, he walked Kurt to the car which was waiting for him, pushing him against the side of it before kissing him and holding his hand until the very last second when the door closed on him.
The following week was slow, but pretty average. Sunday was Christmas Day, so Blaine was just endlessly waiting for it to roll around and he’d be able to be with Kurt again. Lucy came to Blaine on Thursday evening in tears, saying that she thought Freddie was cheating on her. Blaine held her whilst she cried, when she asked his advice, he told her to confront him. They’d both agreed to keep Aaron in the dark about this, he could become extremely protective over Lucy, to the fact where he put himself in danger for her, and they didn’t want all of that just from something Lucy suspected. She promised to confront him after his Christmas vacation because he was going to stay with family in Florida.
On Christmas Eve, Lucy helped Blaine to pack his stuff to go to Kurt’s and he gave her a Christmas present from him. It was a silver charm bracelet, already with 5 charms. A small simple red heart, a lightning bolt, a peace sign, pom-poms and the outline of a star. She put it on immediately and cuddled him, thanking him over and over again. In return, she bought him a personalised iPhone case, which had a picture of him and Kurt on the back which Santana had managed to take for her the previous week. It had them both asleep on the sofa, Kurt’s head nuzzled into Blaine’s neck, both of them cuddled in as close as possible to each other. He laughed at first, wondering how she’d even thought of this and then slid his phone into it, admiring the back thoughtfully. He hugged her, finally, and kissed her forehead. “Thank you so much, it’s perfect” he whispered. They shared a bowl of ice cream and candy at midnight, watching some comedy movie which Lucy picked out. The following morning, a car was waiting at 9am to take Blaine to the airport. Kurt had wanted to fly Blaine to New York on his private plane, but Blaine had insisted that he didn’t want that, that he just wanted to fly on a normal plane, with other people who he could actually talk to. Although, he didn’t. He put in headphones as soon as they took off, and decided that he would take a nap for the hour flight. He felt himself waking up as if he’d never been asleep, but true enough as he looked out of the blurred window; he saw a huge green sign stating “LaGuardia Airport.”
Blaine collected his bag, after somehow managing to fit all of his clothes, Kurt’s present and a few necessities into one bag, and then he walked out to where Kurt promised him that a car would be waiting for him.
Blaine looked around for a few moments, feeling a bit stupid just standing there gazing between all of these people searching for a person holding a piece of paper with Blaine’s name on it. Soon enough, he saw one.
Blaine Anderson
I’m here to make your Christmas wishes come true!
Blaine laughed and raked his eyes up the man’s chest, until his eyes met with extremely familiar blue ones. Kurt smiled at him, wiggling the paper in his fingers from side to side as Blaine strode over towards him.
“Merry Christmas, baby” Kurt whispered as their lips met sweetly, Blaine’s arms sweeping around his waist to cuddle him closer.
“Merry Christmas” Blaine breathed as they pulled apart, their fingers entwining as the piece of paper creased into Kurt’s left hand.
“There’s a car waiting outside, I figured you’d rather see me here than some guy my dad paid for.”
“You thought right,” Blaine smiled as they walked across the airport.
“Man I love Christmas” Kurt beamed.
Blaine squeezed his hand as they walked through the entrance doors. “I’ve never seen you so happy,”
Kurt practically bounced on his heels as they rounded a corner to find a black car with a driver stood by the door, holding it open for them. “Because it’s Christmas, Blaine. And I get to spend it with you,” he let Blaine get in the car first, smiling as Blaine shot him a look.
Kurt climbed in after him, letting the driver shut the door on them. As soon as the door slammed shut, Kurt turned into Blaine’s arms and kissed him, his tongue slipping between Blaine’s lips, the familiar taste and pressure of his boyfriend’s lips against his own.

“Your house is amazing” Blaine stepped out of the car and gazed up at the house in front of him. More like a mansion really, it was nothing like he’d ever seen. Four white pillars held up the front of the house, and he could barely see the sides from where he was standing, but Kurt barely blinked an eye as he grabbed Blaine’s bag and walked up the steps leading towards two grand white doors. One opened from the inside, revealing a short blonde maid who smiled at Kurt, taking the bag from his hand as Blaine ran up the steps after him, slipping his hand into Kurt’s as they walked through the main entrance.
“Jesus, Kurt.” He said quietly, his low voice still echoing around the room. Kurt smiled at him, giving a comforting squeeze to his hand as they came to another doorway; Kurt pushed it open slowly and stepped into what Blaine figured was the living room. There were enough chairs and sofas to fit at least 20 people, and a large grand wooden table on the right hand side of the room. A huge Christmas tree which was the most extravagant thing Blaine thought he’d ever seen brushed across the ceiling where it didn’t quite fit into the room completely.
Blaine’s attention snapped over to an occupied sofa as soon as Kurt’s hand slipped out of his.
“Mom, Dad, this is Blaine.” He said proudly, smiling back to Blaine where he stood isolated in the centre of the doorway where Kurt left him. Blaine looked wearily at Kurt, who held his hand out to him, but instead of letting Blaine take it when he reached him; he wrapped it around his waist and held him close.
“Hello Blaine, it’s lovely to finally meet you.” Kurt’s dad said, emphasising ‘finally’ as if he’d heard enough about him already.
“I’m Carole, and this is my husband Burt.” Carole smiled at him. “Merry Christmas.”
“It’s nice to meet you” Blaine finally spoke, a little shakily. He felt so incredibly out of place here, but when he felt Kurt’s thumb stroking his side, he let himself relax further into him.
“We’re gonna go upstairs for a bit, we’ll be back down for lunch” Kurt said calmly, nudging Blaine’s hip with his hand. Burt and Carole didn’t say anything, Burt simply nodded and Carole turned back towards her husband and held out a glass of wine she picked up from the table.
*
On the way to the stairs, Kurt grabbed Blaine’s hand.
“We’ll go this way, it’s more fun” he smiled, leading Blaine into a small corridor.
A house keeper almost bumped into them.
“Sorry Paul, we’re taking the elevator” Kurt apologised as they almost knocked a tray out of his hand. Paul just nodded and let them pass, as soon as he was out of sight and they were in an open hallway, Blaine turned to Kurt.
“An elevator? In your house?”
Kurt shrugged lightly. “When I was little, I used to always complain about using the stairs. So my dad made them build an elevator to my floor. No one really uses it anymore, but I don’t feel like walking today.”
“You really did have the best childhood”
“It’s better than the slide we had for like 3 years” Kurt laughed, pressing the button to call the elevator.
“A slide?!” Blaine let Kurt take his hand out of Blaine’s to slide around his waist as the elevator opened and they stepped inside. Kurt pushed Blaine in ahead of him, pressing the button for floor 6 and waiting until the doors were closed before he pushed Blaine back against the wall, their mouths immediately meeting and tongue’s seeking entrance. Blaine smiled into the kiss, his arms wrapping securely around Kurt’s waist, who was edging himself between Blaine’s opening legs.
“Look” Kurt whispered between kisses, nudging Blaine’s nose with his own. When Blaine didn’t move for a few seconds, Kurt pecked his lips again. “Look, open your eyes” he whispered, sucking down across Blaine’s jaw and his neck. Blaine opened his eyes slowly, blinking to adjust to the light as he saw his reflection in a mirror on the other side of the elevator.
“Exhibitionist” He laughed, arching his back into Kurt. The door pinged open at that second, revealing a huge room. Blaine looked into it immediately as Kurt dragged him out of the elevator by a loop on his jeans.
“They’re leaving after lunch” Kurt smiled, still dragging Blaine across the room which was probably bigger than the entire floor layout of Blaine’s whole house. They reached large wooden double doors, and Kurt pressed a button on the wall, a small humming came from the doors as they automatically slide open.
“And you’re staying until tomorrow, right?” Kurt confirmed, letting Blaine take his hand.
“Yeah” Blaine agreed, as Kurt walked them into his bedroom. It was pretty simple, mainly just a bed, which could frankly fit about 7 people in it comfortably, a walk in closet to the right of the room and then just a desk with a mac and against the wall sat a huge plasma TV.
“Fucking hell.” Blaine said quietly, running his eyes over every bit of the room.
Kurt let him take it all in and moved to kick off his own shoes as he sat down on the side of the bed. He eyed Blaine for a moment once his shoes were off and then turned to sit further into the bed, his back leaning against the plump pillows and the headboard. He tilted his head to the side as he caught Blaine’s eye.
“You coming?” He asked, smiling.
Blaine kicked off his shoes and walked over towards the bed, crawling over to Kurt as he reached it. He kissed his lips once sweetly.
“Not yet”
“Mmm” Kurt hummed, stroking his hands up and down Blaine’s sides. “We can’t” he whispered, leaning up for a kiss. “I had to swear to my Dad that we wouldn’t until they left”
“When do they leave?” Blaine asked softly, sinking down so he was lying between Kurt’s legs, their bodies pressed together.
“After lunch,” Kurt held his hand to Blaine’s back, stroking softly. “What did your mom get you for Christmas?”
Blaine pushed himself over to lie next to him, his arm resting on Kurt’s chest.
“Erm, she and my grandparents got me a new car.” Blaine replied happily. “What about you? What did you get?”
Kurt smiled and kissed him. “I got you. That’s good enough for me.”
“Oh shut up,” he smiled. “Just tell me”
“My parents bought me an apartment in New York,”
“In New York?” Blaine furrowed his eyebrows, his thumb tracing along the centre of Kurt’s chest. Kurt shifted uncomfortably and turned to face him.
“I guess you’re gonna find out eventually” Kurt sighed. “I’m taking the job in Paris.”
“I’m glad.” Blaine said softly, letting Kurt’s arms envelope him.
Kurt kissed his head. “Really?”
“Uhuh” Blaine let his eyes drift closed. “When do you leave?”
“January 10th” he said certainly.
“Mmm. What are you doing for New Years?” Blaine asked, his eyes still shut against Kurt’s shoulder.
“It’s a surprise. But don’t make any plans,”
Blaine opened his eyes and turned to lie on his stomach, his head resting on Kurt’s chest.
“I’m involved? I’m honoured” He smiled.
“You’re always involved” Kurt grinned back at him.
*
Lunch was more comfortable than the first meeting Blaine had with Kurt’s parents. Burt had ended up showing Blaine some baby photos of Kurt, ending with ones of Kurt finding the slide that they had built for him for 3 years, he’d used it in the summer to get from his bedroom to the pool quickly, but once summer came and passed, it was barely used. After lunch, Burt and Carole left to go back to London for work, vowing to meet Kurt in Paris when he flew out in January. Carole took Blaine off to the side, thanking him for being so supportive of Kurt’s future and not trying to hold him back. Blaine liked Carole, he decided at that moment, he couldn’t bring himself to tell her that he knew Finn, although he was sure that she’d be interested to find out how he was more often. He’d tell her next time.
After they left, Blaine and Kurt exchanged presents. Blaine gave Kurt a pocket watch, one which he’d had for a long time, he slipped a photo of him and Kurt into the free side as it opened opposite the clock. The front of the pocket watch had an engraving; it read the word “Courage” in block letters. Kurt opened it enthusiastically, gasping as he saw every inch of it, he held it to his chest and looked up at Blaine through his eyelashes.
“Thank you so much, I love it”
He leant forward and grabbed Blaine into a fierce kiss, kissing even when Blaine was trying to catch his breath against his lips and laughing.
In return, Kurt gave Blaine a key. Blaine opened it cautiously, and twisted it between his fingers a few times before gazing up at his boyfriend with a smile.
“A key?”
Kurt rocked back excitedly. “Yep. A key. To my apartment in New York, Paris and London. It’ll open all of them. It’ll also open my dorm at Dalton.”
“I love you” Blaine smiled.
“I just figured that maybe you’d want a place to stay, if you....I dunno” Kurt shrugged.
“If I miss you” Blaine finished for him. “Thank you, it’s perfect.”
“And...Just in case that’s not gonna be as useful” Kurt said, standing up and picking a box from the floor. “I saw this and decided that you might like it too” He grinned proudly at Blaine, really impressed with himself. Blaine pulled himself up by the box and leant over, his hands cupping Kurt’s cheek to kiss him.
“You are so adorable” he grinned, sitting back the other side of the box, which took up over half of Kurt’s huge bed.
“Open it!” Kurt practically ripped it open himself.
“Okay, okay” Blaine chuckled, untying the bow surrounding the box. He lifted the lid gently and pulled out the tissue paper inside, tossing it behind him like a 5 year old does.
He gazed inside once there was no tissue paper left.
“Kurt...” he said, looking up at him with a smile. He reached in with both hands and pulled out a brand new guitar. “You really didn’t have to”
“Shhh, I didn’t have to, but I wanted to, and I did.”
*
The rest of Christmas had been perfect. They cuddled and ate ice cream, played a couple of really bad board games which Blaine had won, much to Kurt’s dismay and denial. They climbed into bed and ended up falling asleep cuddled up with one another, waking up the next morning in the same position. Kurt’s cook made them breakfast in bed, and after they’d finished, Kurt forced Blaine to sing him a song with his new guitar. Blaine reluctantly agreed, but he made Kurt sing with him.
Later that day, Blaine had taken the flight back home, agreeing to see Kurt on New Year’s Eve, when whatever Kurt had planned would happen.
*
“I’m so sorry”
“It’s okay, don’t worry about it.”
“I’m sorry, I promised you and I hate having to break that”
“You can’t help it, Kurt. Just seriously, don’t worry.”
“I’ll see you soon, I promise.”
“You don’t have to promise me anything, I told you not to a long time ago.”
“Your party.”
“You remember”
“I do. But I do promise; I will see you soon. Just don’t stay in on New Years. Go out with Santana or Aaron or anyone; don’t let me ruin your night.”
“I will, I swear. Have a safe flight and text me when you land.”
“I will. I love you, baby”
“I love you too, Kurt.”
