“I’m coming, I’m coming.” Blaine replied, walking out to the front door.
They climbed into Kurt’s car and headed towards the hospital. When they got there, Kurt picked out a piece of paper from his pocket and read it aloud. “Ward 3C.”
“That’s this way; it’s near where I stayed.” Blaine said, taking Kurt’s hand in his own and dragging him down a hallway.
They arrived at Ward 3C and pushed the door open, looking
around the curtains as they went.
“There he is!” Blaine said, pointing towards the end of the ward.
“Nathan!” Kurt said happily as they approached his bed.
“Oh hey guys! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m dying of boredom and I’m literally about to start crying just so I can have some attention.”
“You’re so alike Blaine; he’s a 5 year old too.” Kurt said sarcastically.
A doctor walked over and checked Nathan’s machines around him, Kurt noticed a slow blush creeping up Nathan’s cheeks when the doctor smiled at him and told him he could go.
Kurt cocked his eyebrow at Blaine, who just smiled and turned back towards Nathan, who was climbing out of bed.
When they were in the safety of Kurt’s car, Blaine turned excitedly to Nathan.
“Who is he?!” He beamed.
Nathan blushed and dipped his head. “He’s a doctor, obviously. His names Adrian.”
“A doctor huh?” Kurt grinned. “I always wanted a doctor.”
Blaine turned around and gasped. Kurt continued, ignoring him.
“But then I fell in love with a musician...”
“Nice save.”
“Thanks.”
“So when are you seeing Adrian again?” Blaine asked.
“We’re going for coffee tomorrow.” He smiled widely.
“We have to pick a perfect outfit!” Kurt interjected.
“And apparently I fell in love with a fashion freak.”
“I’m a designer, Blaine. Don’t be an asshole you’ll sleep on the couch.” He teased.
“How do you two ever have a normal conversation?” Nathan asked, smiling.
“We don’t.” They both said at the same time, turning to grin at each other.
“Wow.” Nathan smiled, looking out of the window.
“Anyway, back to Adrian. How old is he?”
“He’s a year older than me.”
“That’s sweet.”
“Yeah. I know it’s really sudden, but I’m really into him, like, really.”
“Really really?” Blaine repeated.
Nathan looked at him, smiling.
“This is you, right?” Kurt asked, pulling up by the sidewalk.
“Yeah, this is me.” Nathan clarified, unbuckling his seatbelt.
All three men climbed out of the car and started towards the door, Nathan pulled his keys out and unlocked the door, letting them all pile in and lead them to the living room. Nathan sat in the armchair and Kurt and Blaine sat together on the sofa.
“So tell us more about Adrian.” Kurt beamed.
Nathan blushed, but gushed about his latest crush. They were talking like a group of twelve year olds at a sleepover, gossiping over the latest hot boy to come into their lives, but they were all so happy. Kurt watched on as Blaine began animatedly adding to the conversation, he hadn’t seen Blaine like this in so long, it brought back so many memories of when they were in high school, sitting on Blaine’s bed or Kurt’s sofa and giggling about everything and anything. They were inseperable since the moment they started dating, and Kurt never wanted to let him go. He wrapped his arms around Blaine’s waist and rest his head on Blaine’s shoulder as he continued talking to Nathan. He paused midsentence and turned to Kurt.
“Hey.” He whispered.
“Hi.” Kurt replied softly.
Blaine grinned and turned back to Nathan, continuing from where he left off.

The next day Blaine waited eagerly to hear back from Nathan about his date with the Doctor, Adrian.
“Blaine, a watched pot never boils.”
“It’s a phone not a pot.”
“Same concept.”
At that moment, his phone buzzed with a new text.
“AHA! I told you!” Blaine boasted, Kurt laughed.
New text message from: Nathan. - !!!!!!!!
Kurt sat on the arm of Blaine’s armchair and looked down at his phone.
“What did he say?”
“Just loads of exclamation marks. I’m guessing things are going well.”
Kurt laughed and ran his fingers through Blaine’s hair adoringly.
“I love you so much.”
“I love you too.” Blaine grinned, turning his head to kiss Kurt.
His phone buzzed in his hand again and they both turned to look at the flashing screen.
New text message from: Nathan. – We’re going to a movie. I’ll text you tomorrow! Say Hi to Kurt!
They both laughed and Blaine clicked his phone off and slipped it onto the table.
“Oh that boy is hopelessly in love already.” Kurt sighed.
“I know its early days, like, the first day, but I think they’ll last.”
Kurt looked confused. “How can you possibly say that, we’ve barely met Adrian.”
“But he’s a doctor Kurt.”
Kurt laughed.
“Oh yes, never let a doctor go...”
“Your weird kink for doctors worries me a little.” Blaine smiled.
“Your weird kink for-”
“You liked that too!” Blaine interrupted.
Both men erupted into laughter and Kurt fell into Blaine’s lap, arms wrapping instinctively around Blaine’s neck, their mouths meeting in a sweet kiss.
“I did, I did like it.” Kurt admitted, grinning into Blaine’s mouth before they kissed again.
“I know.” Blaine winked, arms tightening around Kurt’s waist, pulling them closer.
Kurt whined from the back of his throat and Blaine pulled
back, meeting their eyes.
“What is it?”
“I-” Kurt eye’s filled with tears, Blaine’s eyebrows burrowed and he bought a hand up to cup Kurt’s cheek.
“Baby what’s wrong?” he asked worried.
Kurt laughed a little. “It’s stupid, I’m sorry.”
“What’s wrong?” Blaine repeated, brushing a tear from his cheek.
“I just...I just really love you.” Kurt smiled a small sad smile.
“I love you too.” He replied, pressing a kiss to Kurt’s nose. “Don’t cry, it makes me sad. I’m not going anywhere.”
“I know.” He whispered.
