Blaine was curled up in bed, staring at the wall. He'd been like this for a month. He barely ate. He never cried. He would repeat the same thing over and over again. His mom was so, so worried about him. She'd even called Kurt, who was unable to come to Lima due to how many big projects he had in the short time he had left until the semester finished. He tried calling Blaine, but he couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone, still in denial and shock from what the doctor had said. There was a cloud of fear and depression hanging over his head. The doctors that had came to see him said he was catatonic, but his dad wouldn't hear any of it and just called another doctor.
"Blainey, please, you're scaring me!" his mom screamed as he repeated once again, "I'm a freak, he'll never love me, I'm a freak..." He didn't respond, repeating his monotone mantra. He was in a fetal position, eyes wide and staring at nothing in particular, not moving any muscle but his mouth.
"Blaine, please, please, stop!" she screamed. She got up and grabbed him, pulling on him, but he refused to move. She slapped him hard, getting no response, then began to beat him. She aimed a blow at his stomach and he cried out loudly, throwing her off of him before sitting up and cradling his stomach protectively and giving her the most menacing grimace she'd ever seen in her life. He didn't care what state he was in, but she couldn't hurt the baby.
"No, don't touch h-her," he snarled, panting.
"W-what?"
"Don't touch her! Don't touch my baby!"
"Blaine you're not making any sense!"
"I'm PREGNANT!" he screamed. She stared at him with wide eyes as he began to cry, wrapping his arms around his torso. She rushed over to him and took him into her arms, holding him close as he sobbed. He was in a terrible state, skinny and pale, his hair hanging limp and dull, the curls containing no life.
"Mi dispiace, mamma, mi dispiace," he cried, clinging to her tightly. (I'm sorry, mommy, I'm sorry.) She shushed him, holding him tight. She knew what he was apologizing for.

someone once told me that pregnancy was time to get used to the idea of having a baby and the changes that comes with it. looks like blaine's gonna need all 9 months to adjust. blaine referred to the baby as her. is he hoping for a girl?
