Blaine woke up and immediately rushed into the bathroom, throwing up the contents of his stomach into the toilet. After a few seconds, he felt a pair of soft hands brushing his hair out of his face. When he'd stopped retching, Kurt took him into his arms, kissing his forehead gently as Blaine began to cry, his hormonal imbalance and lack of sleep taking its toll on his body. He clutched at Kurt, sobbing hard. There was a soft knock at the door. Kurt reached back and opened the door, and Elizabeth moved to wrap her arms around Blaine, kissing his forehead. Blaine wrapped his arms tight around them both, clutching them close to him. Kurt ran his fingers through his pregnant husband's hair.
"It's ok, baby," he murmured. Blaine buried his face in Kurt's chest.
"I-I-I don't e-even know why I'm c-c-crying," Blaine sobbed.
"Oh, baby," Kurt said, tugging him closer.
"It's ok, Mommy," Elizabeth said. Blaine cried for almost a half hour before his sobs became hiccups, and then Kurt gently coaxed him up from the ground and helped him rinse his mouth out with mouthwash. He then picked Blaine up and carried him back into their bedroom, laying him down gently on the bed.
"Elizabeth, sweetie, go back to bed, I can take it from here," Kurt murmured as their daughter hovered nervously at the foot of their bed.
"Ok, Daddy," she said softly before leaving.
"S-she's so worried about m-me," Blaine whispered. Kurt wrapped his arms securely around his husband, kissing his temple.
"Of course she is. She loves you," he murmured before pulling the blankets around them both and kissing Blaine softly.
Kurt awoke to Blaine singing softly, rubbing his huge stomach.
"Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night.
Guardian angels God will send thee,
All through the night;
Soft and drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,
I my loved one's watch am keeping,
All through the night."
Kurt watched as he sang the lullaby, silent.
"Angels watching, all around thee,
All through the night.
Midnight slumber close surround thee,
All through the night.
Soft and drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,
I my loved one's watch am keeping,
All through the night.
While the moon, her watch is keeping,
All through the night,
While the weary world is sleeping,
All through the night.
O'er thy spirit gently stealing,
Visions of delight revealing,
Breathes a pure and holy feeling,
All through the night."
Kurt smiled a little and moved to wrap his arms gently around Blaine, chuckling when he jumped a little.
"Sorry, baby, I didn't mean to scare you," he said softly. Blaine smiled and rested his head on Kurt's shoulder.
"It's ok," he said softly, snuggling into his husband's arms.
"That was a pretty lullaby," Kurt murmured.
"Thanks," Blaine said softly. "I didn't write it, of course." Kurt smiled and kissed him softly.
"It was beautiful because you were singing it," he said softly. Blaine smiled and they laid down to sleep a little bit more, Kurt rubbing Blaine's abdomen gently.
