“Come on, we’re moving out,” Wes said to Blaine, who was sitting down by the car, leaning his back against it. “Where’s Kurt?” he asked when Blaine looked up at him.
“He went off,” Blaine answered simply, standing up.
“Why?”
“We fought.”
“You moron, both of you. Go get him,” Wes instructed, snappily. He was clearly stressed.
“Thanks,” Blaine muttered sarcastically as he walked away in the direction Kurt had gone. He turned the corner but saw no sign of his husband.
“Oh great, wander off why don’t you,” Blaine growled under his breath as he walked towards the next corner. His foot kicked something and looking down Blaine saw a phone skid across the concrete. He frowned and picked it up. He recognised it, it was Kurt’s. He absently unlocked it and was surprised to find a text typed out but not sent to him. It held only an address.
Realisation dawned on him. He felt like he was reading the note in the hotel all over again. Kurt was gone.
“Blaine!” he heard Wes calling for him. Blaine made a snap decision. He hit send, feeling his own phone vibrate in his pocket a second later before he deleted the message and relocked the phone. “Blaine?” Wes was behind him now. Blaine turned slowly, he held the phone out to Wes.
“He’s gone,” Blaine said simply.
“Gone? What do you mean?”
“I mean Finch has got him, so wonderful plan Wes. Now some crazy maniac has my daughter and my husband. Not to mention he’s nearly killed Kurt before. I’m dealing with this myself.”
“Don’t be an idiot Blaine, you’ll get the killed,” Wes answered. “Or yourself,” he added.
“You think I care about myself anymore. If I lose them, what do I have?”
“Let’s just go to my office, we’ll rethink this.”
“No, I’m done thinking. I’m doing this my way.”
“No you’re not,” Wes replied angrily, grabbing hold of Blaine’s arm to pull him back. Blaine growled and swung himself round, punching Wes in the face and knocking him out. Blaine stood panting for a second before he bent down and relieved Wes of his gun.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered and turned and ran. Kurt’s phone in one hand the stolen gun in the other.
Blaine tried not to shiver at the comparisons between this rescue and the last one. Once more he was driving a stolen car to follow Kurt into a trap. Once more he’d willingly go into it save Kurt.
“I love you so much,” Blaine whispered into the air as he sped towards the address he’d punched into the cars satnav. “I’m coming.”

It was a squat building surrounded by other squat buildings, the whole place looked unused. Blaine stepped warily out of the car, gun at the ready, and walked up to the front door. He shivered in disgust at the surroundings. It was truly a horrid place. He needed to get Kurt and Annie out of here. He pushed at the front door, surprised to find it opened, and stepped inside. The inside didn’t look very nice either. The corridor he was in had many doors, this place was a maze. It could take forever to find his family.
Not that he got the chance. Blaine barely felt the blow to the back of his head before he was unconscious.
When he woke, it was to Annie’s cries and to finding himself tied to a chair.
