Kurt looked around the opulent hotel amazed that Dalton could afford for all of them to stay at such an expensive hotel but then the Warblers had a very high budget not to mention that many of his fellow Warblers came from very well off families.

“This place is beautiful,” Kurt whispered to Blaine with a small smile.

“It is but not nearly as beautiful as you.” Blaine said honestly, as he caressed Kurt’s hand with his thumb.

Kurt blushed as he picked up a key from the desk and they walked over to where the rest of the Warblers were waiting with their faulty assigned guarantor Maria Lewis who simply smiled at her students.

Mrs Lewis commanded, “Boys, I am expecting you all to behave in a manner as appropriate for a Dalton student, meaning do not cause any damage to the room or cause any trouble.”

At the nods of respect, the teacher walked out of the hotel, eager to go back to her house and knowing her students would behave themselves.

“Good afternoon, Kevin. How is the family?” David Anderson said surprised his friend was calling when they would be meeting up for lunch the following Friday.

Kevin Jackson said seriously, “They are very well, thank you. David, I just saw your son Blaine checking into a hotel holding hands with a very effeminate boy. Now that I have this information you can understand why Blaine will not be my daughter’s date next Saturday.”

“Of course. Thank you for telling me, Kevin.”

David Anderson couldn’t believe what his friend was telling him, that his useless son had dared to expose his perversion to the world without regard to how that shame would reflect on their family.

“I just thought you deserved to know just what your son is up to. I will see you at the meeting.” Kevin said seconds before ending the call.

Filled with anger, disgust and disappointment David Anderson picked up his phone ready to put into the plan he had created when Blaine had first disgraced him by saying he was gay. He had never thought Blaine would dare to flaunt his perversion in public by going to a hotel with some catamite. He had given Blaine plenty of chances to see the error but his son simply refused to do so. Where it not for his business associate seeing Blaine book a hotel room, David might have been able to hide Blaine’s sin. David now had only one course of action available, to remove Blaine from the Anderson family completely so that his perversion would not blight their good name.

“Joseph, it is David. It is time to remove Blaine from the Anderson family. I want it to be done by next Friday.”

“Of course, David.” Joseph Evans said, still surprised that his friend had put up with Blaine’s disgusting behaviour for so long.

Satisfied David ended the call with a curt goodbye, now he had to make a few difficult calls to his family to explain that they should never contact Blaine again. His wife and children would follow his directives as they always did.

He knew there was a chance his daughter Cara would be upset by his expelling her twin brother from the family but she would soon understand how his shameful behaviour would reflect on their family. His eldest child, Cooper was currently in Montreal and so did not know how Blaine’s behaviour had ruined chances for their family business to expand. David quickly dialled his daughter’s phone number.

“Cara, it is your father. How are you?”

“I am very well, thank you. Is there a particular reason you are calling me, Father.”

“Yes. Blaine’s disgusting behaviour has gone too far, I am taking steps to cut him from the family bank accounts, properties and businesses.”

“Is that really necessary, Father?” Cara said politely, whilst thinking she would have to contact her older brother to see if they could arrange for Blaine’s tuition to be paid between them.

Cara was lucky in that since she was enrolled in a boarding school in California, her father didn’t keep close track of her expenses meaning he wouldn’t notice if she gave Blaine money. If that didn’t work, they would have to find somewhere else for Blaine to live and attend school. She just wanted Blaine to be able to attend a good school because she knew Blaine wanted to become a teacher to the consternation of their father. Cara had accepted that their father was in denial of Blaine’s sexuality but she had never realised their father actually hated him.

“Of course it is. If Blaine tries to contact you, you must call me immediately and I will take care of it.”

“Sure. Jennie is waiting for me,” Cara said calmly.

“Okay. I will talk to you later this week,” David said before terminating the call.

David quickly dialled Cooper’s phone number, knowing his eldest son might complain about Blaine being exiled from the family but David knew it was the right course of action.

“Father, why are you calling in the middle of the day?” Cooper said surprised since his father had always insisted personal calls should not be made during working hours.

Although he was pleased his son had a strong work ethic David Anderson frowned at his son’s indignant tone before replying, “This call won’t take long, Cooper. Your brother was seen booking into a hotel room with a boy. I told him that he was supposed to purge himself of this perversion not revel in it. Blaine is no longer part of this family. If I find out you have had any contact with him, you will lose your inheritance and you will not have a job in my company.”

Cooper felt anger, disgust and hatred surge through him as he heard his father calmly talking about disowning his own son, simply because he was gay. Cooper had never hated anyone more than he hated his father at that moment, he couldn’t believe the man could think it was acceptable on any level to hurt his own son so much.

Cooper wanted to rage at his father for his actions but reason dictated that he wait until he had spoken to Blaine. He wanted to make sure Blaine had access to plenty of resources to help him through school which would take a few days of manoeuvring. Once everything was in place, Cooper would tell his father to disappear from his life and never return. The only reason why he hadn’t cut his father from his life so far was because he had believed his father might see the error of his ways and accept Blaine. Although Blaine had never said so, Cooper knew his brother still wanted his father’s support and love, being disowned would probably destroy a part of his brother.

“I understand. Father, I will have to end the call now or I will be late for my next meeting,” Cooper said evenly.

Once his father had hung up the phone Cooper pressed his intercom and instructed his secretary, Evan that he was not to be disturbed. The first thing that had to be done was to speak to Blaine about what their father was going to do. Cooper didn’t want his brother to be caught off guard by their father’s terrible actions. He found it comforting that his brother wouldn’t be alone when he got the terrible news. Cooper was surprised Blaine had booked a hotel room but it was good that Blaine hadn’t risked having sex in the Anderson household because after speaking to his father, Cooper had a feeling his father would have reacted violently if he had found Blaine in bed with Kurt.

Stepping out of the elevator Blaine held Kurt’s hand as they walked towards their hotel suite, still surprised that Kurt had softly asked to room with him. He hadn’t brought up the topic, not wanting to make Kurt feel uncomfortable. He was pleased that other than a surprised look from Wes, no one reacted to their sleeping arrangements or when Nick and Jeff asked to room together.

Taking the door key from his pocket, Kurt opened the door with a small smile at the way Blaine gestured for him to into the room first. Once he was inside the room, Kurt just took in the beautiful room. Hearing the door close, Kurt turned just as Blaine sauntered towards him with a bewitching, wide smile on his face, the smile that always made Kurt’s knees weak.

Watching Kurt’s expressive face Blaine asked, “Do you like the room?”

“It is amazing, I'm not sure I want to leave.” Kurt said honestly.

Blaine said surprised, “I never thought I would see the day when my beautiful boyfriend would turn down the chance to go to the mall.”

“Honey, I just thought we could relax in our room a little before we have to go out with our amazing and rambunctious friends.”

Blaine licked his lips as he thought about just what they could be doing in their room together, feeling his pants get tight Blaine quickly focused on the memory of watching David and Wes perform in drag and felt his erection subside.

Blaine gently pulled his boyfriend into his arms and placed a gentle kiss on Kurt’s inviting lips. He truly thought he would never get his fill of Kurt’s kisses. Every kiss they shared felt as amazing as their first and each one made him fall a little more for Kurt. Blaine was certain that he would soon be able to confidently declare his love for Kurt, the only reason he hadn’t done so already was because he didn’t want to make Kurt uncomfortable by saying the words too soon.

Blaine jumped when his phone rang, he smiled when Kurt passed it to him from the table with a soft grin. Looking at the phone, Blaine was surprised to see it was his brother. He had always idolised Cooper but when his brother had moved to live in Canada years ago, Blaine had quickly felt their once close relationship become strained. Although they talked on the phone at least once a month, he didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time with Cooper, in the last six months he had only seen his brother for a total of nine days.

“Hey Coop.”

“Hey Little Bro. How you doing?” Cooper asked, gently.

“I'm great. Kurt’s with me, if you want to talk to him,” Blaine said happily, knowing his brother had wanted to speak to Kurt since shortly after Blaine had mentioned meeting the lithe teen.

“It’s good Kurt is with you. Blaine, could you go and sit down with Kurt. I have something really important to you.”

Blaine stilled, knowing it had to be terrible news for Cooper to be so serious and to ask him to sit down. Taking Kurt’s hand in his, Blaine shakily sat down onto the sofa, feeling Kurt wrap an arm around his shoulders.

“I am sitting down now, Cooper. What is wrong?”

“Father just called me. He said that he is going to disown you. I expect he will call you in the next hour or so. I want you to know that I am always here for you, Bro. I'll do anything for you.”

“Why...why would he disown me?”

“Someone told him you have checked into a hotel with Kurt.”

“So he couldn’t handle with the reality of my relationship with Kurt. Father is probably freaking out at the thought of someone finding out I am gay.”

“Probably.”

“I...I just wish he could accept me and realise that being gay is perfectly normal but he never will.”

“It’s his loss, Bro. I don’t want you to hate me but I can’t distance myself from him completely yet. I need to get a through things moved around first. I will make sure you have access to enough money to finish school at Dalton and go to NYU or wherever you want.”

“You don’t have to split yourself out from the family as well.”

Shaking his head at Blaine’s words Cooper quickly said, “It is my choice, Blaine. I don’t know if he will try to get you removed from Dalton immediately. If he tries anything just mention going to the country club with Kurt, I can guarantee it will be enough to make him back down. He is terrified that people will find out you are gay and we can use that against him for now.”

“O...Okay. Cooper, I don’t know if I have told you this but you are brilliant.”

“Of course I am. Blaine, I promise I will take care of everything.”

“Thanks, Coop. I...I am going to talk with Kurt and explain everything,” Blaine said before ending the call and switching his phone off.

Placing the phone on the chair next to him, Blaine felt himself collapse against Kurt who simply pulled him closer. In what felt like a blink of an eye, he had somehow moved so that his head was in Kurt’s lap. As Kurt’s fingers gently brushed through his hair, Blaine let himself cry, mourning the family he had once had. It helped that he would still have Cooper, Cara and Andrew. He knew his mother was a lost cause since she always followed his father’s orders.

“I’ve been disowned, Kurt.” Blaine said, shocked at how easily the words came.

“Honey, I am here for you. I know you probably don’t want to talk about it but I am here if you want to.”

“I...I know my parents and I don’t have a good relationship but they are still my parents. It hurts to know they don’t want me as part of their family.”

“I can’t even imagine how you must be feeling but you aren’t alone, you have Cara and Cooper. You also have me, I'm always going to be here for you.”

“Kurt....I know we are supposed to go out with the guys but could you just hold me for a while?” Blaine asked, hating how needy he probably sounded.

Kurt quickly said, “Of course, Baby. I'm just going to send Wes a text to let him know that we won’t be going bowling and we will meet the others in the food court at the mall.”

Although he felt guilty for doing so, Blaine nodded in agreement knowing he wasn’t in the right frame of mind to be around other people, even his friends. He couldn’t stand the thought anyone other than Kurt seeing him in such an emotional, vulnerable state. Blaine knew he would probably have to tell their friends the basics of what had happened before it somehow got out via the Dalton gossip express as all secrets seemed to do.

Placing a soft kiss on Blaine’s forehead Kurt reached into his pocket and took out his phone. He quickly typed a message to Wes, knowing their older friend respected their personal boundaries. Kurt was fairly certain that Blaine would tell their friends about his disownment in time but first Blaine needed some time to come to terms with what had happened first.

Wes, Blaine and I are not meeting you for bowling. We need some time alone. We will meet you at the food court. Kurt

Pressing send Kurt placed his phone onto the cushion beside him saying gently, “Blaine, do you want to lie in bed with me and watch TV?”

Blaine was surprised at the question since they already had plans but had to admit it sounded like a wonderful idea. Being with Kurt would help keep his pain and loss from overwhelming him. He would have to speak with his sister to find out how she felt about everything but first he had to get a handle on everything himself.

Blaine asked ashamed, “Does keeping my phone off so I have a bit more time before I have to hear my father disown me make me a coward?”

“Of course not, Honey. It makes you human,” Kurt said honestly.

“Thank you, Beautiful,” Blaine said, kissing Kurt’s neck gently.

Blaine stood, holding out a hand for Kurt to take before leading the way to the bed. The pair got on the bed, Blaine moving so that he was sitting close to Kurt with his head on the older teen’s shoulders. Kurt smiled and switched on the television, looking through the menu of programmes finding three pretty good musicals.

“Do you want to watch Gypsy, Hello Dolly or There's No Business Like Show Business?”

“Hello Dolly sounds great,” Blaine said decisively.

Kurt nodded in agreement before switching on the film and getting comfortable. He wanted to give Blaine some time to relax before he had to speak to his father and hear the cold man’s cruel words. Kurt knew that Blaine was going to find it difficult to come to terms with what had happened and all he could do was be there for Blaine. Kurt hated seeing his boyfriend in pain and hated that there was nothing more he could do to help but just be there to give Blaine support and comfort.
