For a few months everything went normally, well as normal as anything in that household could go. Blaine stayed over more and more frequently. Kurt even spent weekends at Blaine’s place sometimes. Brittany and Santana began rekindling there love and Finn began appreciating Rachel more and more each day. Candie made better friends at school, one’s that didn’t care if she may one day have two mommies or two daddies. And Kurt and Blaine talked more of starting a future together.

Everything was calm, but that all changed (A/N: what would you guys do if I said that all changed when the fire nation attacked. Come on you were so all thinking it) when Santana went to the doctors after feeling sick for the past few weeks.

It turned out she was with child, and that frightened her deeply. She immediately called Kurt, and he comforted her the best he could. They weren’t quite sure what their future might hold, but one thing they were sure of was that their family was expanding.

Kurt talked things over with Blaine, assuming Blaine would want a chance to get out. Instead he was actually quite surprised. Blaine proposed to Kurt, reminded him that he was in for the long haul, and asked if he could be a part of this child’s life.

Brittany, already having done the same with Candie agreed immediately, excited to spot where the stork had laid its nest.

The question of living arrangements came to the discussion, and once again Blaine was full of surprises. He invited everyone to come live with him, and sell the apartment they had lived in together to start a college fund for Candie and the upcoming child.

Kurt and Blaine got married in the spring, and Santana gave birth to a son in the summer. Candie had a little bro and their family couldn’t have been happier.

Finn and Rachel married the following year, and although Santana and Brittany never married they stayed true to each other for the rest of their lives.

Rachel found that she couldn’t conceive children, but decided that since she had took part in raising both Candie and her brother Riley that she had already had her experience with family.

Everyone was happy, and they always would be. They were a family.
