I didn’t see any of the skanks for the rest of the day, apparently during lunch Finn yelled at Sam and told him to go to class, he either listened or he was off sucking face with Kurt somewhere. To be honest my first day was kind of a blur, classes went by, I met more people then I’d care to know, hell I even sat through Glee club with Finn and Rachel, that’s his girlfriend. She’s very annoying, but she’s got talent I’ll give her that. The only thing that really stood out was Kurt. I couldn’t get the boy with the aqua hair and face piercings out of my mind. I just want to understand him.
And I think I might have an upcoming chance.
I never understood the purpose of starting school before Labor Day, but I guess now I’ll be eternally grateful. Let me explain, we started school today on Wednesday, basically it was just meeting all our teachers and going over the agenda for the year. So tomorrow we have a full day, and Friday we get out for a half day. Okay so that’s not what I’m excited about, but this, this, is what I’m excited about!
Rachel was blabbering on about how we need new members for Glee club, but Figgins won’t allow us to commandeer a pep rally to sing songs and promote the Glee club, because of their apparently not so good track record with assemblies. I didn’t get that. But that doesn’t matter, what does matter is that Rachel called a mandatory meeting this weekend at Finn’s house to scheme ideas for getting new members. This ditzy blonde girl named Brittany asked if it could be a sleepover. It was a strange request but Finn said sure, so now everyone was spending the night at his house. Yeah I felt a little uncomfortable about it at first since I don’t know any of these people, except for the small opportunities I’ve had to talk with Finn in between classes. But all that doesn’t matter, because what I realized was that I’ll be spending the night in Kurt Hummel’s house. And he’ll be there! And I’ll talk to him! And it’ll be amazing!! I also realize that Sam will be there too, since they both live there and all. But I’m hoping to get some time alone with Kurt. It’s going to be perfect.
So I left Glee club, a bounce in my step and ideas flooding my mind. I was really really excited for this weekend.
I was walking past the bleachers on my way to the parking lot when I was stopped.
“Hey I know you. You’re new here. Blake right?” Q asked grabbing my arm and pulling me under the bleachers. The smell of smoke hung heavy in the air and I tried my best trying not to choke. I wanted to at least seem cool if I was talking to a skank.
“Actually it’s Blaine. You’re Q, right?” I asked with a smile.
“Sure am.” She said leading me further underneath the bleachers. “You know Kurt, and this is Sam.” She explained. Kurt nodded and smiled and Sam waved his hand excitedly standing up to greet me like a puppy. Awwh he would have made an adorable golden retriever, I just don’t understand the purple in his hair. He had a nose piercing, but it didn’t look cool like Kurt’s. He looked like the gay member of a boy band. Well I guess all members of a boy band are probably gay, but still it looked a bit funny.
“Hi I’m Sam!” He greeted happily.
“Hey I’m Blaine.” I smiled trying to keep my judgment to a minimum.
Okay I realize I’m being a little mean, but in all honesty I’m just jealous of Sam. What did he have that I didn’t? Well other than Kurt. Sure he was taller than me, probably stronger than me, he pulled off purple hair better than me, but still. What do I need to make Kurt Hummel fall in love with me?
Wow I realize that’s a bit creepy, especially considering I just met him. But Kurt is just so unique; I just want the chance to know him. To understand him the way Sam apparently does.
“So what brings you to the bleachers? Looking to get high?” Quinn asked, surprisingly no judgment in her voice for what she was accusing me of.
“No, no. I was just walking to the parking lot.” I explained.
“Oh. Well this is skank territory. I know you’re new and all so I figured I should let you know.” Quinn said with a smile.
“Thanks Quinn.” I shrugged and her eyes flickered darker.
“Who told you my real name.” She asked, although it doesn’t come off like a question, more like a threat.
“Um, Finn, he called you Quinn and I asked if that was what Q stood for.” I lied quickly, I didn’t want to freak them out with what I knew. Or more so what I had heard. If I do stand a chance with Kurt, I can’t believe the mean things others say about him. I need to discover who he is for myself.
“Oh, well I don’t go by that name anymore. Not since-” She started but Kurt interrupted.
“Everything changed when the fire nation attacked.” He deadpanned and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Shut the fuck up, no one’s talking to you.” She yelled with a scowl and Kurt laughed silently too himself.
“Ahem, before I was so rudely interrupted I was going to say I haven’t gone by that name since freshman year.” Quinn, well Q, finished her story.
“Ah, freshman year. Those were the days.” Sam said with a longing smile.
“You didn’t even go here freshmen year.” Q laughed.
“Exactly, things were better.” Sam laughed.
“I wish I had gone to a different school.” Kurt sighed.
“But then you wouldn’t have met me.” Q said with a smile wrapping her arms around him and kissing his cheek.
“Yeah, but things would have been different.” Kurt said sadly.
“True, hey what time is it?” Q asked.
“A little after four.” I answered, not really sure if she was addressing me or not.
“Well I gotta get home. It was nice chatting with you kid.” Q said ruffling my hair and walking off.
“Is Finn taking Rachel home or can we catch a ride with him?” Sam asked Kurt.
“I think he’s taking her.” Kurt replied with a groan.
“Do you guys not like Finn’s girlfriend?” I asked confused.
“Duh, have you met her?” Sam asked with a laugh.
“It’s not just that, were not total pricks. Rachel doesn’t like the skanks so whenever she hangs out with Finn we have to make ourselves scarce.” Kurt explained.
“So I’m guessing the two of you won’t be at the Glee club gathering there holding this weekend at your house?” I asked genuinely wondering.
“I’m not sure, will you be there?” Sam asked me and I nodded in affirmation.
“We’ll be there then.” Kurt replied with a smile directed towards me and my heart skipped a beat.
After a few minutes of them asking me about myself they said they had to get going if they wanted to make it home in time for dinner. I offered to give them a ride but they politely declined.
My whole drive home the same four words kept repeating through my mind. “We’ll be there then.” What was that supposed to mean? Did Kurt already know that they were going, or was my response what made him make up his mind. Was I reading too much into things? Was he just being polite? What was going on?
One thing was certain though, I’m definitely going to this gathering, and I’m going to talk to Kurt. Really talk to him.

im just inlove with this story i just love your books i can not wait to read more
I am so glad you like it! Random question do you just like the Because they're about Klaine? Or if I wrote a for real novel would you read it? I'm only a junior in high school but I know being a writer is my dream. I wanna major in English and live in a cute town and drink coffee and write stories. If I wrote like a real novel would you have any interest at all in reading it? Everyone on here says I'm a good author but I'm not sure of they mean I can write Klaine well or if I genuinely have a decent writting style. Since I know you've read a few of my stories on her I was wondering if I could gage your opinion. So what do you think?
I can't wait for more! This story is perfection!! :)
