“Who would he be singing to here?” Blaine laughed nervously. “Great job Kurt, that was great.” Blaine said giving him a high-five.

“Thanks Blaine, I’m glad you liked it.” Kurt said emotionlessly.

“Alrighty if you say so. You just sang with so much emotion. I was positive there was some one here you were singing to…” Wes sighed.

“Well there was no one! So just let it go! Okay? Okay!” Blaine exclaimed.

“Okay…” Wes said confused.

“Anyway…let’s just watch the rest of the performances and go back to set up for our bon fire.” David said changing the subject.

“Sounds good.” Rachel said calmly noticing the tension between the group and not wanting to cause any more drama.

She knew the situation and typically being the gossipy person she was would have used that information to her advantage. But knowing how hurt Kurt was about all this she decided it’d be in everyone’s best interest for her to just let it go for the time being.

And so she did.

Looks between Kurt and Blaine were exchanged and everyone said down turning their attention back to the stage.

When the talent show ended their group went back to the cabins to grab what they would need for the bonfire.

It was going to be a great way to end camp for them, and a final goodbye for Kurt and Blaine.

“I’m going to miss you guys. You need to stay in touch!” Mercedes said elbowing Wes.

“Of course of course!” Wes laughed.

“And we’ll for sure see you at Sectionals, where we won’t hesitate to kick your butts.” Rachel added.

“Oh it’s on! We so beat you at the talent show!” David laughed playfully.

“I don’t know I think Kurt might have saved them.” Wes laughed.

“Totally dude was fucking incredible! I’ve never heard someone sing with such raw emotion! I still can’t believe you weren’t singing to anyone in particular.” David smiled at Kurt.

“Um thanks?” Kurt laughed awkwardly as Blaine starred at him.

“So anyway. I was thinking.” Rachel smiled.

“That’s never good.” Mercedes kidded.

“Hey! Anyway I was thinking we should go around in a circle talking about camp. You know stuff that happened, funny moments, and stuff like that. It’d kind of be just like when we first got to know each other.” Rachel suggested.

“That’s a great idea!” Wes exclaimed.

“Yeah totally Rach.” Finn smiled.

“Okay who wants to start us off?”

“I met a boy cute as can be.” Mercedes smiled.

“Tell me more, tell me more.” They all sang.

“Oh shut up!” She laughed.

“Sorry ‘Cedes. Go ahead, tell us your story.” Kurt laughed.

“So anyway, I met this super cute boy. His name is Shane, he actually goes to McKinley.” She blushed.

“Shane on the football team?” Finn asked.

“Yes. So anyway he’s so nice and sweet and I got his number and he asked me out!” Mercedes smiled and Rachel squealed.

“Awwh ‘Cedes I’m so happy for you!!!!” Rachel cheered jumping up and down.

“Awwwwwh Mercy that’s so exciting! But what happened to Sam? I thought you guys were together?” Kurt asked.

“You and Sam are together? No way!” Finn said excitedly.

“Yeah, we had a thing. But the thing is, he moved. So we like had to end it. But that’s okay because I’m with Shane now.” Mercedes smiled.

“Awwwh” Wes cooed.

“I’m so happy for you Mercedes” Kurt smiled.

Mercedes proceeded to tell them more about Shane, smiling and blushing the whole time.

“I hooked up with a few of the other camp counselors.” Wes smiled proudly.

“Did not!” David laughed.

“Did too.” Wes winked.

“Oh my God which ones? Jessica? Please be Jessica she was the hottest.” Finn laughed high-fiving Wes and earning a glare from Rachel.

“You bet.” Wes smiled.

“Slut, I hooked up with her too.” David laughed.

“Awwh well that ruins it.” Wes frowned.

“You both are too much.” Kurt laughed.

“What about you Kurt? Any summer flings?” Wes asked.

Kurt just blushed.

 “Yeah Kurt? Any attractive counselors you had a secret relationship with? Huh huh?” Rachel not so discreetly asked starring at Blaine the whole time.

“If I do remember correctly you were the one who fantasized about doing any attractive counselors.” Kurt laughed changing the topic quickly.

But Rachel was too smart for that, “You’re deflecting.” She smiled devilishly.

“Yeah Kurt, you trying to hide someone.” Mercedes winked knowingly.

“Oh my God! I know it!” Wes exclaimed! “They song was so about someone! You so got it on with someone and he broke it off because camps over!” Wes said jumping up.

“Awwwwhhh did our little Kurtie fall in love with his summer fling?” David smiled.

“Maybe.” Kurt frowned. “Maybe said summer fling also broke my heart.” Kurt said softly.

“Awwwh Kurt. Who was it we’ll go kick their ass!” David said protectively.

“Calm down their tiger.” Kurt laughed.

“Kurt, for real this guys a jerk, we’ll go mess with him.” Wes said eagerly.

“Other than him being a jerk tell us about him! Was he hot? Did he love you too? Was he good in bed? Do you top?” David asked.

“Ew guys. No. That’s my little brother we’re talking about.” Finn said making gagging noises.

“Finn’s right we should drop the subject. I don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.” Kurt said giving Blaine a sad smile.

“You’re right.” Wes laughed.

 “Moving on. Blaine how was your camp experience, bang any hot chicks?” Wes asked and Blaine thought he throw up.

Why couldn’t he just tell the truth?

Why couldn’t he just tell them?

Tell Kurt he loved him?

Tell him he wanted to be with him?

Admit to everyone that he’s gay?

Admit that he’s in love with Kurt Hummel?

Admit that he broke his heart?

Admit that right now his heart was breaking?

But he just couldn’t tell them.

He was too scared to.

Not yet anyway.

But maybe, maybe someday.
